  1. The reason the suggested cpu is an intel is because Skyrim works better on intel cpu's, because you are running AMD it is likely to have an effect on skyrim in particular. I'm using the full version of the ENB and I'm getting around 40 fps, possibly because I went overkill with the cpu by getting an 8350 4.0 ghz 8 core processor (don't know if the extra cores help or not). With the ram I have to say that you should probably have no less than 8 gb before running any ENB on your system. I would think that this game would take up around 5-6 gb of ram while operating. Also, some of those mods on his page are enough to just melt a gpu, and that will also affect frame rate. I have an evga gtx 670 ftw that, before it got watercooled, would only be able to run at a smooth frame rate for 30 minutes before it dipped real low. The order at which I would look at things would be the ram, the cpu, then the gpu. The ram if you have less than 8 gb, the gpu if it's delayed and the cpu for otherwise.
  2. In response to post #9265647. Halo was a great game and has had me ply it for long periods of time from halo 2 to reach. Sadly for me halo 4 was a let down and I didn't even finish the campaign or get past lvl 20 on multiplayer. Sadly, even though halo was the pioneer to FPS games on consoles it still takes the place as a generic shooter in almost every aspect. With Halo 1-3 I loved the story and it will always be memorable to me. The thing I liked about reach was the differences in abilities for online play and the story was pretty well laid out as well. All of them were good in certain situations but none better than another. Halo 4 to me was different because some abilities were clearly better than others. Getting cloak with a shotgun hiding around a corner is just a little too deadly for my tastes. Just saying that with all of the games combined there were 2 bad ones, Halo Recon and Halo 4. I just dont think the rest of them can win against Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. These 3 games dominated awards and all of them got game of the year so don't go saying that Halo got more/better awards because that is just not true. As a series TES has more games of the year per game than Halo with it's perfect score. And btw GTA is a very influential game. I liked san andreas as well but the only way I actually played it was when I cheated my was to hell. GTA IV was my favorite as I have not played V yet
  3. In response to post #9273447. Saints row is now a completely different game from GTA. It started off as a GTA ripoff that I enjoyed quite a lot and then it diverged into a completely different game that was less serious and more over the top in what you can do. GTA's style is to be like a real world setting while saints row 4 for example had you as the president and aliens invading as the main plot.
  4. In response to post #9210059. #9232898, #9233462, #9236776, #9252777, #9255944, #9256370, #9259420, #9260265, #9277740, #9286272 are all replies on the same post. @poncedele1 It's true that many people like to have their NSFW mods installed, but most of the time it's just for a little kick. I personally have the UNP body with barbarian textures to make my redguard look like a beast. I use the UNP body because of the mass of armor mods that I like that go along with it. But the thing that won this game the prize is the modding community. If I didn't get mods to change up the experience I might not have played this game for as long as I did. If you get bored with a game, use an overhaul mod. Currently I'm using skyre and the thing I like with this mod is the differences you get with races. The redguard that I'm developing right now is a freaking beast. The special ability 'sandstorm charge' which is a slow time and a movement speed buff on a two minute cooldown has saved my ass more times than I even used racial powers in TES games ever. I never used racial powers before because they were all once a day and not very practical so they were never hotkeyed and forgotten. The only annoying part is solstheim where every bandit has the passive dunmer ability where NPC's get a flame cloak every time they are at around half health. Just a small nuisance but a nuisance all the same. I dont think I've even scratched the surface of this mod so I plan to continue with it until I get bored again. Then I mod the game again and I'll be back to it. And back to the original topic, yes I have had game breaking bugs happen before but I always found a way to fix it. When I wasn't absorbing the first dragon at the watchtowers soul, I couldn't proceed with the main quest. Mods saved the day, every time on that playthrough (previous to the mod) killing the dragon didn't get me a soul, but after installing the bugfix I could proceed like normal. It was a minor annoyance but didn't stop me from liking the game.
