I've been looking for an hour, I have so many tabs open in photoshop I'm surprised my computer hasn't blown up, does anyone know where the athletic outfit is in the texture files? It's not named after athletic outfit or anything like that, thanks.

Experienced Sound Designer Looking for Mod Team
RaPiiD38 replied to Deleted28068930User's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Hey there, I'm a student 3d asset artist, I'm a big beginner to modding Bethesda games, I have a radio mod I'm working on and I fancy trying my hand at some PBR texturing + custom meshes for some gun mods once I get a grip on things, it'll take me a long time since I don't have much free time as it is, one thing I've noticed is that the Fallout 4 gun's sfx are a lot different than previous Fallout's so it would be cool if you made some sfx for my custom weapons, I'll message you what I'm working on once I start so if it interests you I'll need things like reloading sound, shooting sound, equip sound, etc, I'll likely be starting with simple pistols and maybe move on to energy weapons or something totally new. -
So I've extracted my package (.ba2) files and applied my mod to the extracted folder in the correct format, now how do I re-pack that into .ba2 to load and test in-game and also upon release of a mod manager how would I (generally) go about releasing it as a mod that can be installed automatically through the manager? Sorry for probably the noobiest question on the forum right now, this is my first time modding Fallout, my closest experience to this is making skins for CS. Thanks a lot for reading & helping, much appreciated.

RaPiiD38 replied to Shellbacker's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
You can't install FCO with NMM. You need to use fallout mod manager (FOMM). http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36901/?- 5 replies

INI tweaks to reduce crashing?
RaPiiD38 replied to Deleted6773806User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Memory, Loading & Multi-threading uInterior Cell Buffer=3 uExterior Cell Buffer=36 The above values determine how many cells (for interior or exterior areas as relevant) are buffered into RAM. Altering these values may help make performance smoother. For example, for 1GB of RAM you can try doubling the values (6 and 72 respectively). For 2GB of RAM, try 16 and 102 respectively. For higher amounts of RAM, try raising them higher, however note that you should also raise the iPreloadSizeLimit value below (Fallout.ini). iPreloadSizeLimit=26214400 - This setting appears to determine the maximum amount (in bytes) of RAM allowed for preloading game data. Raising the value may reduce stuttering. The default value equates to around 25MB (divide the value of this variable by 1024 to get KB, then by 1024 again to get MB). For those with 1GB of system RAM, try doubling the variable to 52428800. For those with 2GB, try double again at 104857600 (100MB). You can raise these values even further to experiment, however note that raising this to a large amount doesn't force all the game data to sit in RAM, and can actually cause crashes. I suggest the maximum anyone should set this to should be around 262144000 (250MB), even for 4GB of RAM or more. Also make sure to raise your Cell Buffer values accordingly (see above) (Fallout.ini). Source - http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_10.html It's for fallout 3 but it still works just as well (same engine) just change 'fallout_default.ini' in the NV install folder and not 'fallout.ini' in your documents folder. Buffering more cells into RAM prevents the occasional crash with lower end cpu's. An easier way to fix this is just to use the 4gb enabler but you asked for ini tweaks. -
FNV is cpu heavy and so are most enb's so you're probably much better off there than I am. However I don't think your gpu would be able to handle hd textures or lighting/weather overhauls that don't use post processing.

Un-install NMM, *delete NMM's mod directory (wherever you decided when you first launched NMM) and install it again.

Hey folks... so today is not a happy day. I had some fps troubles 2 days ago (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2368449-needle-in-a-haystack-fps-problem/) which I managed to fix but then my save got glitched so I decided to start a new game. Everything went great for the first 30 minutes and then it asked me if I would like hardcore mode active. I clicked 'no' and it progressed about 10 frames and then froze. I had to ctrl+alt+del out of it. I cannot even begin to explain the amount of possible solutions that I have tried and how many times Doc Mitchell has given me a pip boy... I have re-installed the game 3 times. I have tried with mods, without mods, with dlc, without dlc, with enb and without enb, with nvse, without nvse, with archive invalidation invalidator, with zan autopurge crash protector with and without NVAC and without either. I tried to start a newer game, didn't work. I got rid of my cpu overclock, I un-installed winamp, I defragged, I deleted every ini file related to fallout, I re-installed my gpu drivers, I deleted all my saves, I've tried every graphic setting related to water (apparently it messes things up), I have done... so much stuff and there is no logical explanation for why this keeps happening. It was working fine 2 days ago apart from low fps due to a random script mod I had and now Doc Gandalf is telling me I shall not pass. I would post mod list + load order but since I've tried it with a completely clean install I know it's not a mod. Please help because I'm completely lost.. All was going fine, and then...

Try toggling archive invalidation off and back on in NMM. Try un-installing Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch. Try verifying game files through Steam. -
Purple/Blue Screen (ENB)
RaPiiD38 replied to oinkerd's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I used to use that enb and I had the same problem. To stop using the enb simply delete the d3d9.dll in the installed NV folder, then if you want to use a different enb just paste over. I didn't use the enb for long because I didn't like it but you can just press Shift+Enter in-game, you'll see a menu pop up. Disable lens and then scroll down and find 'bloom' config those settings until the blue is gone, then enable lens and do the same for lens. -
Needle in a haystack (fps problem)
RaPiiD38 replied to RaPiiD38's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
So far I've went through the mods I really want - http://imgur.com/gv77mJf For some reason NMM deleted the logs so I haven't got my list anymore. Without an enb/4gb mod I get stable 64fps, with an enb I can get drops to 45 but mostly stays at 50-60 and I'm alright with that. Problem is basically solved unless I go on a mod binge and accidentally install one of those other mods again. To think I was playing with drops to 10fps... -

Okay, re-installed and got a solid 70-80fps, no stutter at all. Will start to slowly add mods and see what happens. -

Yep, it would probably take less time than fiddling around. I'll report back once I re-install and then I'll go through each mod and see which ones are causing problems. Thanks. -

Huh, that's weird. I only have one FalloutNV.esm in the nexus mod manager but in the log (C:\Users\Clayton\AppData\Local\FalloutNV) it says I have two, I copied and pasted the log originally and didn't notice. -

Okay I un-installed project nevada and wasteland flora overhaul which removed a lot of the stuttering and gave me a 10fps boost, feels a lot better now. Not completely solved but thanks. -
Needle in a haystack (fps problem)
RaPiiD38 replied to RaPiiD38's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
The problem is that there's a script from a mod running in the background which is eating up 20fps, I doubt it's anything to do with my settings since I've tweaked them for hours and once I disabled all mods I got decent framerates. -

Needle in a haystack (fps problem)
RaPiiD38 replied to RaPiiD38's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Not sure what you mean, my enb notifies me at the start that the video device is my graphics card which is a Gtx 760. Unless I disconnect my gpu it's the only thing possible to use. -
Hey guys. So I have a.. lot of mods and I decided to start playing again recently and noticed that my fps was pretty low for my computer, gtx 760, fx 4100 (I know it's bottlecapping), 8gb ram (with 4gb mod). I got drops to 10fps when looking at npc's, 20 when looking at complex geometry (towns, trees, etc) and my max was 37fps looking at the sky. So after a long, long time messing with my .ini's and other performance tweaks and fixes I eventually just tried disabling all my mods and seeing if a clean game will fix it. I got about 40-70fps and that's with an enb, without 4gb mod. So something is eating away about 20fps and I have no idea what it is, I thought I'd post my mod list here if you guys have any idea, thanks in advance. falloutnv.esm FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm CaravanPack.esm ClassicPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm TribalPack.esm FCOMaster.esm Project Nevada - Core.esm Project Nevada - Equipment.esm Military NV Backpacks.esm Run the Lucky 38.esm PipboyRemover.esm Pip-Phone.esm SomeguySeries.esm Niner.esm Lucky38Suite_Reloaded.esm Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp Lutana CotW Expansion.esm Children of the Wasteland.esm FCO.esp FCO - Playable Races.esp FCO - Niner.esp Courier Vests.esp desmond companion.esp Vurt's WFO.esp Military NV Backpacks - BumBagUseSlot1.esp New Vegas Trade Center.esp JoOsArmory.esp HDTshop.esp Gunslinger.esp UrgeWasterScarf.esp 1911.esp SR556.esp MoraelinsProfessionalsSuitMod.esp DragsModernGunslinger.esp G36K.esp Geonox_Riot_Armor.esp TheLozza's_Gasmasks_V2.esp Uzi.esp JustAnArmorPack_WithCheatBoxAndAliceArmors.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp Goodsprings Filler.esp NiptonRebuilt.esp MadScience02.esp The Lucky 38 Empire.esp The Weapon Mod Menu.esp AK47.esp C1849.esp Crossbow.esp PPSh41.esp Remington870SO.esp RHINO45-70MX_NV.esp mac10.esp NewVegasBountiesII.esp Hood.esp NewVegasBounties.esp GameSettings.esp Zan_AutoPurge_SmartAgro_NV.esp B92FS.esp Performance Of The Gods.esp Tommy.esp RemovableWeaponMods.esp HK MP5SD3 NV.esp Makarov.esp 9A91.esp WEATHER RUDY ENB.esp
