  2. This, well.. Looks, sounds and appears to be extremely promising. Just thought I'd jump in and possibly pass on some ideas and maybe a overview of my own maybe? Anyways, Glad to see a project that will be taken place in the UK! Finally! You've got a lot of work cut out for the project you've begun to plan - I'd love to see some areas that I could somewhat recognise if at all possible but all In good time we shall see! Here's a few ideas that I'd love to see myself; Back in the fallout lore of 1969; the US grouped together the 50 states and made them in to 13 commonwealths, I would love to see maybe various counties grouped together in the same way? That could make your map size a little more accurate for people outside of the UK maybe? or maybe if England, Scotland, Wales and (possibly) all of Ireland grouped together in a nation-wide commonwealth maybe? Suggestions. I love the area of Lincolnshire that you have picked, prime for military bases, which would make for good fallout stories and even places to explore. Adding to that; The north west could and would be a good place also (just a suggestion) like for example, Lancashire has the Warton Aerodrome which could make for really good battles, stories and maybe some custom ideas like the nuclear blast site which could have happened there in the fallout universe. Then also in Lancashire, there is a small town which had a military stockpile and about 25 years ago they couldn't empty it and they just decided to bury it and now over the top of it is a housing estate with corporation landmarks (that could tie in with your pre-war corporations and businesses). Moving onto landmarks you could proceed to show The Blackpool Tower Ballroom + the tower maybe? There's also the Illuminations which could make for a good radiation site, since... well... Blackpool is pretty toxic. (Sorry...) Then on top of that there's surrounding villages with landmarks which could provide as fillers for the map? Sorry, kinda felt like I was convincing you to change the location, which Im not! Just suggestions. Myself, Im pretty familiar with the previous Bethesda kits, dunno if there's a place for me on the team but it would be good to know what is available and what is needed for the dev team. But if you wanna send me a message for what you are looking for I can send you some information of what i am currently skilled in. But, good job on outlining what you are going to be doing with the mod, I can't wait to see how it progresses!
  3. Looking awesome so far! Keep up the good work and I agree with the OP, use the sights that are already available to use via the ingame assets, then you'll be able to get the mod out quicker
  4. Should be good to look upon this near completion. I'm glad you've taken the steps to replace 'all' of the appearances of Vault-boy with Vault girl. Good job and keep up the work!
  5. Hi everyone, Im currently in the process of making a mod for skyrim. Im having issues with fading items, when your on the land i have created, everyrthing looks fine, but once your a bit away, there is a massive fade right in the middle of the 'island' so to say. Does anyone know of a fix I could try? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hey everyone, Im currently in the process of making a mod, of which I need to create a different way to get somewhere. So portal, teleporter... and so on. But I was wondering if there was a way I could make an elder scroll run a script so the animation of the scroll is opened and the teleport script takes place or even the same with the black book for when you open it. (Yes I know there's the black book teleporter but there's no animation for it.) If anyone knows anything about this, please post here or let me know. Thanks in advance.

  9. Well thats the thing, I wont be running any mods. Just Skyrim and SKSE and it crashes. I really really dont know why.

Following on from: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1618103-ctd-issues-driving-me-crazy/ I still have a huge problem with my skyrim working with SKSE, I have tried everything from deleting .ini files, re-installing skyrim, reinstalling SKSE, removing mod by mod till I have found issues. I have also had issues with SKSE where I cannot play Skyrim (with no mods at all) with SKSE installed. I have also tried memory editors, debugging and 'un-corrupting' saves, I have also tried working MO, of which didn't do anything for my Skyrim. Before anyone asks, YES! everything is up to date and I have all of the required master files, and it is in all of the correct order. I also run a 'Legitimate' Skyrim as I have bought it through steam. If you want proof, add me here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/-Darkside-/ I constantly crash on start up or when I click continue/load on a game save. Any help? In the post above, I had stated that Alternate start and CBBE was the problem, it is not. And also I said I had solved the error, I had for about 1-2 seconds and then I CTD'd again. I had done various testing for skyrim, one of them was that skyrim worked perfectly when I ran skyrim through the launcher rather than SKSE, so is SKSE the problem? I have read that SKSE cannot cause CTD, but my opinion has changed and, personally, I think it can, especially for the newest updates of this year. i have also used BOSS and also TES5Edit of which made sure I wasn't doing anything wrong with the mods I had downloaded/installed. I have spoken to countless people on the forums, in person and also people who have had a similar problem as I. I still cannot find a fix for my problem. Has anyone found a solution or know of a solution? Thank you to anyone who suggests anything, in advance.

  12. It don't matter, I have an unsolvable problem anyways something must be broken between Skyrim and SKSE, but with the mods in between just made it really difficult to work with. I've come to a conclusion to remove everything that is 'Skyrim Related' and then download everything, individually and then do some CTD testing inbetween each change. So whoever gets this problem from now on, good luck solving it. - I gave up. FOUND THE PROBLEM! Got all of my mods on that I wanted to use. (Stated Above) So... went back to skse's website and reverted back to: version 6.15 (skse_1_06_15.7z) Reloaded skyrim with SKSE, worked perfect. So 6.16+ (7) Does not work for my system. Dunno why. :P

  14. Right I'm going to get right to the point, roughly two days ago I got back into Skyrim... Obviously my files were outdated so I cleaned out my files from deleting/uninstalling all of my mods then I moved onto SKSE and removed that also. Just to check if I had deleted something I shouldn't have I did a Steam file check thingy for the games cashe. So I re-downloaded all of the latest versions of the mods I would like to use, here: - 360Walk and Run - Achieve That! - Alternate start - ApachiiSkyHair - Bandolier - CBBE - CharGen Extension - Climates of Tamriel - FCO - FNIS - Freckle Mania - Race Menu - Real Vision - Remodeled Armors for CBBE - Scarlet Dawn Armor - Seasons of Skyrim - SkyUI - Unofficial Patches (Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn) - Vilja in Skyrim - XP32 Skeleton To my knowledge, I don't think any of them would confilct so I added them and also added the newest version of SKSE 16.6.16 (I think it is the current build). I then ran boss to double check that my load order was correct and then ran TES5Edit to make sure there was no errors. There was no errors and my load order was fine. Then ran the game, at first I had some issues with crashing before I reached the main menu, but that was solved, I had a bigger problem... After creating my character everything was running smoothly then I would save, then load back in later on and skyrim would CTD. So I could make a new save fine and play on it till I quit but then I would not be able to return to that save. I have looked in countless places for a fix, I have made sure my load order is fine, TES5Edit does not show any errors, I have 'cleaned' my update files and also each of the DLC's. I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing skyrim and also reverting to an earlier SKSE version (but brought more errors that it was worth.) I did more testing such as running the game without SKSE, of which let me play my saved games without the compatibility of SKSE but meant I lost some mods. Does anyone know any fixes? Thanks in advance people.
  15. Willow is awesome but the creator and designer for willow is mainly a Fallout mod creator. As much as I would want a companion in Skyrim like Willow. It's highly unlikely that it will happen. :/ I guess Vilja (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26393/?) and Cerwinden 9http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20787/?) will have to be the Skyrim's best. :P
  16. Just use console commands. :P It would make everything easier. Make a Text document put in all of the console commands you want, e.g: "player.additem f 100000 player.additem 5ace3 10 player.modav stamina 100 player.modav staminarate 10 player.modav staminaratemult 5" (Yes they all work) Then place the text file in the Skyrim Directory and name it something like: Mod Then once you're in Skyrim to activate the text file open the console, and type: "bat Mod" (No quotes). Bam. Done. :D

  18. Although I dont play as a beast race, I do like the idea, it adds somewhat a good feel to the character you have. If some one was to do this Id download it and be a beast race. ^^

  20. Its sounds like a good idea, but to make 9 hours of gameplay and quests, just for the main storyline is very extortionate. There is a huge process just to make one quest and can take upto 30-40 minutes to make it. I guess there are many "modders" around that could help you with this mod. And I would love to see it come alive, good luck.
  21. Try looking at some tutorials on the internet. I am experienced with the creation kit, but I find that the memory that it handles is terrible and sometimes causes freezing when I have attempted to change something like that. It should be simply done, thinking about it. Good luck ^^
  22. Make sure you've got everything fully uploaded. And download BOSS for Falloutnewvegas/skyrim to order your mod setup. ^^

I am slowly getting used to the mod, it does depend on what you would want the mod like, Would you have the Player build (like hearthfire) the town/player home or would it just be sat there waiting to be claimed by the player? (Just a heads up, I cant really put new items into the game, Im terrible at 3d modeling and texturing, but making vanilla houses, Im perfectly good at).
