  1. http://a.fod4.com/images/GifGuide/clapping/citizen_cane.gif Honestly, Bethesda made it perfectly clear where they stand and what they think of the modding community the moment they attempted paid-for mods. Bethesda only cares for Bethesda.
  2. Awesome! Thank you for this. Even more so for the download link addition. Time to give it a shot!

"It's not easy finding professional voice actors that will work for free." A few from 3DNPCs that had great quality mics and voice acting were turned down. *shrugs* Their loss. Regardless, as long as Bethesda does not randomly decide to turn on this project and obliterate it, it will be one of the greatest achievements in modding ever. Good luck to all those involved!

  5. Apologies if this is the wrong place for this post. Anyhow, I've been having this issue for a few weeks now. When I download a file through Mod Organizer the Nexus does not seem to recognize that I have done so. In order for me to rate a file I either have to download it twice, or resort to downloading the manual file. Also I've found that some of my old endorsements for files have been reset; aka files I endorsed some time ago are no longer endorsed. Any idea as to what could be causing this? Regards.
  6. Agreeing to Valve and Bethesda's scheme means you not only agree to this practice, but are contributing to the downfall of the modding community and video gaming. This affects not only Skyrim, but new titles to come as well. Skyrim is but a testing ground for the future. Should people cave in to this disgusting practice, then expect to see future games employ the same tactics, as well as pumping out more unfinished and broken games. Oh, but don't worry, modders will fix it for free, but the users will have to pay for it while the corporations sit back and rake in the cash! LOL! Disgusting.
  7. "To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word ‘doublethink’ involved the use of doublethink."

Fair. Not sure if serious. P.S: They only get that 25% if they make $400 from selling their mod(s). So if you only made $399.99, then you get nothing, while Valve and Bethesda claim all of it. :3 Still fair?

  10. If you want to make money (not a pathetic 25% cut) from all your hard work, then study/apply to be a video game designer/programmer etc. If Bethesda allowed such a thing for their games, it would ruin modding. Modders assets? You can kiss those goodbye. The sharing of ideas and/or modding knowledge? Comes with a price buddy; and so on. Oh so wrong… so very, very wrong. I hope Bethesda doesn’t allow such a thing, but my gut tells me otherwise… this is grim news indeed :(
  11. I'm having the exact same issue  Edit: And i found the culprit, it's Skyrim Floral Overhaul, though i have a fix that does not mean you need to remove it! Download and install aMidianBorn Solstheim Landscape and let the files overwrite the Floral Overhaul ones, this will fix the problem :D
  12. Just popped over from the Skyrim forums after reading your post Gagnon39 :) will paste my reply here just incase you visit here more than the official forum. If you play on the PC, open up the console and type: help "death hound fx", for me i get the code 030028eb *it could be different for you depending on load order*. Then go outside and be in 3rd person view and type in the console: player.addspell 030028eb *or the code you got*, leave the console and wait a few seconds, then re-enter the console: player.removespell 030028eb and it should dissipate after a few seconds. If this does not help then i'm afraid the only thing you can do is reload a save prior to the vampire attack, but this usually works http://static.zenimax.com/forums.bethsoft.com/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png
