Well I have seen retextured Vamp Lord Skin, Vamp Lord Armor and even Nude (god help me) Vamp Lords. No matter what I find, it still does not fix the "OMG... Horror" look for the Vampire Lord. Ok I get it, they are not suppose to be pretty. It's lore and that's the way we like it. Except for me. I care not for lore. If it looks like a laser gun, I will still shoot my enemies in the face if it looks cool and fun. So setting aside lore. Anyone want to take on a Pretty and better looking Vampire Lord. Not sure what that would involve. Though I imagine it will probably be a bit harder then a re-skin for werewolf. Well I hope someone likes this idea. If you do, have fun and can't wait to see it. :D

Hello, My friend is playing the Yaksha race. He is playing the dawnguard story line and just got Surana back to the castle. She says her lines then the gate opens and she goes in. When he tries to go in, the door won't open. He can't click on it. We tried to just skip past the quest cause he is going Dawnguard path, but it causes more bugs. We tried "player.moveto" and Harkons ID so he could get in to finish the quest, but it says no script. His girlfriends ashen char had no problems on the same computer with the same mods and everything. Does anyone know of this problem and how to get past it. The farthest he can go back on his saves is after he met surana and exited the cave. Thanks in advance for any help.

I ran into a mod to change all the housecarls. In the mod the author points out to get them to all look like in the pictures they have of them, that you should use; BFG - Better Face Gen Oriental Beauty women and men Pretty Face Envision Face Univision Face So I got them all on my NMM, but when I got to install them. They all replace specific files from each other. They replace files from Coverwoman as well. So are these replaces just the same file as what they are replacing or are they different. After I did this I also found the bodies of my housecarls were really messed up. Not sure if it was the problem or something else. That problem is for another discussion. What I want to know is how do you use all these file? Is there an order you install them to replace each others files? I have wondered if there was a way to combine mods together to make 1 mod with 1 esp or esm file. As you can tell I am a noob when it comes to modding, since I have not done any yet. Though I would love to be able to combine my favorite armor and clothing mods into one esp/esm mod so that it cuts down on my 250 mod limit. So any info or tips would be great. I am looking to the tutorial post on modding. So I may get some of my answers there. Thanks again to anyone that can help.

Ok, I know everyone is frustrated. I am frustrated as well. My char is having the same issue. Though asking for some "talented modder" to make a quick fix is not going to happen. You can't just get a quick fix that will work for everyone one. In fact they may come up with a quick fix for most people, but is of no help to you. First we have to figure out what is causing the problem which takes time. Is it a mod problem, a custom char problem or something that is down in the core of the game affecting even vanilla games? Now, with that said. Some races are working. Someone said Ashen (Oriental) race is working. May just be them, who knows. I have yet to test the Ashen race or the Temptress fix that was posted. So everyone has 4 options to them. Keep playing and go Dawnguard, hoping that there are no further problems. Back track before you started Dawnguard and play with out it loaded till the issue gets fixed. Help by providing any and all info about what is causing the problem then wait till it gets sorted. Or you can complain about it and be of no use. I know we are all better then that and hope no one picks the last one. I will do what I can to help. Even though I am not a modder. I will give every helpful bit of info I can and do any tests I know I can do.

This is why I follow a very strict 3 save file rule. Rotating between the 3 files so that if something really bad happens to file I am currently saved on. I can go to a file that will be far enough back that I can correct issue or go around it until I find the solution to the problem. Still I am getting the same issue for my char. Are you playing as a Vanilla Race or a Custom Race. I am playing as a Mithra Race. I get the, "I am not a real vampire" bug. No one anywhere sees me as one, even Dawnguard.

Ok did a double check and get the same problem. I am a vampire lord, but no one sees me as one. I walked into Dawngaurd and no one said I was a vamp or attacked me. Though in the sun I felt the effects of being a vamp. On the positive I could see this a having my cake and eating it to, though not sure how. I will make a Vanilla char tomorrow and test to see if I get the same problem. That is if no one else gets this issue.

I have played the X-box version. I did not go the path of the Vamp Lord, so decided to do that one this time over. My friend did but did not get this glitch. After you get turned and get the first quest. When I go to talk to the guy. He keeps refering to me as a mortal. So I transformed into a Vampire Lord and everyone attacks me. I thought you could transform at will around other vampires without problems. At least in the castle. Now I am using a custom race. So that may be the problem. I am using the race Mithra cat girl race from FF_race_Mithra_and_Viera by ayuyuyuyuyu. So far this is the only real glitch I have encountered. I did get a freeze when I exited breeze home in winterhold. But that was probably nothing. As I re-loaded the same file and had not problems after that. So far all my mods are working as well. Textures, race (other then possible vamp lord issue), cloths, weapons, spells. So far all work as they did before. I have not been able to test everything though. So has anyone else had this problem and was it with a Custom Race?
