[Mod Request] Battlehorn Castle Siege Mode – Triggerable Invasion Event
Hi all,
I had an idea for a mod that I think could add a lot of replayability to Battlehorn Castle (from the Fighter’s Stronghold DLC), and I’d love to see if anyone might be interested in creating it.
Concept:
A new feature that allows the player to manually trigger an invasion of Battlehorn Castle to test their guards and defenses. The idea is to have an NPC—perhaps a guard captain—who offers the player an option to initiate a siege scenario. This could be framed as a combat drill, a recurring threat, or even a training simulation.
Core Features:
A new dialogue option with a castle NPC to initiate the siege.
Enemy waves spawn either outside or inside the castle grounds.
Multiple difficulty levels or enemy types (bandits, marauders, undead, Daedra, etc.).
Castle guards defend the area. If they fall, they stay dead unless replaced or retrained.
Optional rewards for surviving the siege (gold, loot, upgrades).
Optional cooldown or repair phase after each battle.
This would be a great way to make the castle feel more alive and functional, and give the player something to do with the army they’ve built up.
If anyone is interested in taking this on, or even collaborating on it, I’d be really excited to help brainstorm more ideas or assist with testing.
