I don't understand this bulls*** about Creation Club, can someone help? 1. Creation Club is not using a cloud based service. Meaning bethesda would have to manually update their game each time just to add new mods. Each update breaks F4SE and other free mods which alienates the free modding community. 2. Every new mod on creation club gets forced onto your hard drive thus eating up hard drive space which alienates the consumer. 1 & 2 makes these mods incredibly accessible to piracy. Better encryption and a cloud based service would almost entirely eliminate piracy. I'm wondering why bethesda chose a really inferior way to handle downloading these paid mods because it opens them up to piracy and it also alienates the free modding community at the same time. This doesn't seem to benefit either party, unless bethesda actually doesn't care about the money and is doing this specifically to subtly shut down free modding off the nexus. There is literally better ways to handle this so Creation Club wouldn't conflict with modding and piracy wouldn't be possible.

Once again, stupid CC updates killing F4SE and related mods.

So CC doesn't use a cloud service. So in order to add more items to CC bethesda would have to launch updates. So Bethesda could have an update just to add a single gun skin.Which will then break F4SE which will then break related mods. F4SE and mod makers will not be able to keep up with this anymore. -

On top it all off we are FORCED to download about 52mb worth of s#*! we won't use. CC could have used a cloud based storage for this s#*! so bethesda wouldn't need to constantly update and we wouldn't be forced to download junk we won't use. -
Update broke another version of F4SE and broke more mods. 52MB forced onto the harddrive. Why didn't bethesda do a cloud based system for Creation Club? That way the game wouldn't need to be constantly updated and there would be less stress on mod makers.

Instead of going in offline mode what if I just set specific files to read only? Then they can't get updated.

I'm trying to get the facts all straight here. So normally games with a DLC system like this will have a cloud based service and when you buy items it will send you a download file without having to update the .exe. However it seems that with creation club all files automatically get downloaded to your system. So with each new content they add to the store it updates the .exe to force all DLC onto your harddrive thus breaking F4SE. F4SE has to update each time but individual modders will have to update as well and if F4 gets updated weekly I don't see free mods using F4SE to be a thing anymore.
-
Most of those new updates are already in place, or will be soon. All of the plugins i use with f4se is anyways. The issue is if Beth releases yet another patch with content and changes to the exe next week. That would be the absolutely worst, and a very real threat. Goodbye f4se as you know it. Bethesda could have had a dynamic system that didn't need to require updates per new content released. There is simply no reason to have all these "mods" automatically download to my harddrive.

I don't want to continue this exe as all my mods are broken and now I have no real reason to play F4 anymore.

All my mods are breaking, nothing is working.

You also have update the mods that are dependant on f4se. Once they get updated that is. Some of the mods I have haven't been updated in a year. -
Wait what? I thought only F4SE had to be updated. Now most of these mods are broken and will take months for modders to fix them?
-
How can I downgrade?
-
So my settlers won't heal me, I click on the option and no animation plays, no fade to back. Weapons don't automatically lower with the weapon lower mod. I can't toggle player talking commands on/off I can't toggle scrap able items on/off I can't toggle my stealth boy on/off individual clothings disappear.

To quote an old FascistBook commercial, "That's not the way this works. That's not how any of this works." All my mods were working before F4 update. Then they broke. Now I updated F4SE, still broken.

After updating to F4se most of my mods still no longer work and I've tried everything to get them to work. I even disabled/enabled add-ons one by one just to see if thinks would work out of desperation 0 0 Fallout4.esm 1 1 DLCRobot.esm 2 2 DLCworkshop01.esm 3 3 DLCCoast.esm 4 4 DLCworkshop02.esm 5 5 DLCworkshop03.esm 6 6 DLCNukaWorld.esm 7 7 SimSettlements.esm 8 8 VideoMaster.esm 9 9 ArmorKeywords.esm 10 a Extended weapon mods.esp 11 b GreaseGunSMG.esp 12 c GatlingRifle.esp 13 d GatlingRifle-Commando.esp 14 e GatlingRifle-DamageReduce.esp 15 f PipeShotgun.esp 16 10 LootableCars.esp 17 11 Kor_Scavenger.esp 18 12 keyNuker.esp 19 13 AlternateMoviePosters.esp 20 14 PD_LowerWeapon.esp 21 15 PlayerComments.esp 22 16 BuildableSanctuaryRootCellar.esp 23 17 Scrap-able Mods - AllinOne - Vanilla.esp 24 18 Realistic Crippled Limbs Effects No Autoheal.esp 25 19 Brainwashing.esp 26 1a Burly Q set1.esp 27 1b OCDecorator.esp 28 1c OCDecoratorDLC.esp 29 1d OCDispenser.esp 30 1e WorkshopGrinder.esp 31 1f MODspiderDLC.esp 32 20 AddictionTweaks.esp 33 21 Locksmith.esp 34 22 VotWLocksmithPatch.esp 35 23 sdh.esp 36 24 Stimpaks restore less limb damage 10.esp 37 25 No Loot Respawn.esp 38 26 SettlementMenuManager.esp 39 27 BetterSettlers.esp 40 28 BetterSettlersLightArmorOnly.esp 41 29 BetterSettlersMortalSoldiersPack.esp 42 2a BetterSettlersMostlyFemale.esp 43 2b BetterSettlersNoLollygagging.esp 44 2c IcebreakerCDO-Settlements.esp 45 2d fco - fully customizable outfits.esp 46 2e fco - crafting recipes.esp 47 2f fco - leveled list.esp 48 30 MODspider.esp 49 31 StarlightDriveInVideos.esp 50 32 Highwayman.esp 51 33 SimSettlements_AddOnPack_Defences_Brae.esp 52 34 IndustrialCity_Sim_Settlements_Addon.esp 53 35 SimSettlements_XPAC_IndustrialRevolution.esp 54 36 SpecialVideos.esp 55 37 Toggle Stealth Boy.esp 56 38 SimSettlementsAddOnPack - RaiderRefugees.esp 57 39 SPDV-BettyPage.esp 58 3a FROST.esp 59 3b BTInteriors_Project.esp

Everything was working before I downloaded LOOT and then stopped working soon after I downloaded LOOT. -
All my mods are not functioning. Settlers won't heal me, the animation won't play. toggle stealth boy doesn't work. toggle salvaging doesn't work. player comments doesn't work. lowered weapons doesn't work. I've disabled all mods and settlers still won't heal me. Load order: https://pastebin.com/tik2DgSL

No takers? lol

So I haven't really seen any mods with a concept like this. I've seen a mod that removes the turret random level spawn but that's not what I'm looking for. So I want a mod where all turrets made spawn at level 1. To upgrade each turret you're going to need authentic parts like a military circuit board, enhanced targeting card, etc. Normal steel and circuitry isn't going to cut it anymore. For survival mode I think turrets should require oil to function unless you can plug turrets into an electrical source of power (which raider turrets use)

I hate to bump but has this already been done? I hate micromanaging them to wear armor.
