Well, it took me all of about two hours to get to the Dragonborn heretic and not even get the final blow? That certainly took the tricks out of my treats. Also, I felt that getting to Alduin was more exciting. The only fear I had was falling into the black slime waters. Nothing else was really at all a threat, just annoying. I suppose now that I have secured the land though I'll continue helping the people on the island until I've exhausted every quest. Still, I was hoping for a bit more excitement and an epic battle between the first and last Dragonborn. Dude was a pushover.

I've managed to get her back in gear and fighting in combat. I had to dismiss her back to Markarth and go pick her back up again. Testing other followers showed that they were all functioning in combat properly.

So not far into Dragonborn and all has been going fine. By my side my follower Valerica from Lunari warriors, somewhat custom built to be like Kyrin from that set, in other words stealth/assassin. All was going fine, she's assisting me killing Ash Born etc.. But suddenly I notice her in front of me not weilding her weapon. She has begun trying to beat enemies with her piercing eyes and beautiful body. Anyway, obviously that being a problem I have attempted to correct her not only verbally but by force as well. She's being stubborn. Un-Equiped her items and armorRe-Equiped themHad her waitHad her follow againDismissed herRegained herTried other options like (Mistakes happen in battle options in case she's being insecure!I've checked mod order (UFO on the bottom) Prior to going off to Dragonborn Land I was playing with FNIS Idles with her. However, as stated she went back to normal fighting and all was well for at least an hour into the new territory before she decided she was going to make herself a human punching bag. I'd really like suggestions on what to try to fix her. I have not fully dismissed her and allowed her to disappear and go search her out. I suppose I could dismiss then re summon her using the stone with the mod. I was hoping to perhaps get this worked out by other means so I don't have to go traveling on boats an all back to Tamriel to reacquire her. I also have not gone to pickup any of the other followers to see if they are in revolt of weapons either. Any help is greatly appreciated. Best, Van P.S. I am using the XP32 Exclusive Animations pack which I don't believe effects followers. I could be wrong but they have not changed since install.

I use this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85/? I like it a lot. The Aurora Borealis is quite beautiful and I find myself pondering the stars a lot more often now than before. I've also never had any issues with the mod since I started using it.

Have you installed the Unofficial Patches for Skyrim and all DLC's? That may help resolve future bug issues as well. Best, Van

For what exactly? I have all of the Unofficial patches except High Res because I don't use the High Res garbage packs.

Thanks, I've seen those both. The first actually looks pretty decent. I just feel like its all Samarai, probably for good reason. The other is well, cbbeBIG body. She moves like a jelly fish on steroids. I appreciate the feedback.

I also already picked up Jiub's Opus as well, I intend to go back I suppose and do Reaper. However, after all the go here do this meaningless silly quests from Thieves guild or Approach the Night Mother, I'm kind of spent on trivial quests. I want sustenance. Sad to hear Dragonborn will largely be the same tune and short lived. I'll still do it though as its necessary to finish my Skyrim full adventure. I hope I don't get a bug filled play through as mentioned. I've had a few hiccups in Skyrim, Dawnguard ran clean. So hopefully the same remains true for DB. Oh well. I suppose I could always just take on every keep in the game and do the bounty achievement if I get bored. :)

That mod is probably dependent on something before it in your load order which would cause that. Perhaps play with the load order if you reactivate the mod. Glad you got it figured out.

Oh and did you uninstall CBBEv3 to prove that everything was working fine without it? If that is causing the issue and you pinpointed that. Perhaps it really is a load order issue. BOSS should help resolve that as well as any edits that need cleaning. I'm not sure you have done that before but it's something to learn if you are modding your Skyrim.

Did you read what I wrote about the official High Res texture packs and such? Do you have those installed? What other texture mods if any are you using? On a side note as previously mentioned. These issues are also related to GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) (ie) your Graphics card. What type of system are you running. You can run Skyrim Performance Monitor to check your Vram while Skyrim is running. It is found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491/? You could also try verifying the integrity of your game files via Steam. Go to Steam Client, Right Click Choose Library Right click Skyrim from the list and Choose Properties Select Local Files (Third tab at the top) Click the bottom button Verify Integrity of Game Cache Let it run and get any files it finds missing.

Was it just me or was Dawnguard like, ridiculously short? I mean, by the time you are acquainted with Serana you're practically at Castle Volkihar ready to kill Papa Sucks? I read there were some 39 quests available. Perhaps, I missed a crap ton of side quests to complete. However, I very much enjoyed the adventure for Auriel's bow and felt that was a well designed quest chain. The Forgotten Valley was beautiful and all the little extra bits and treasures were a lot of fun. Plus I liked the lore behind the Snow Elves even though, good god man, those Falmer certainly changed a lot. I had them pegged for an Alien race. With their weird bug buildings and exoskeleton armor weirdness. I mean, they get pooped out of walls. (Reminded me of Legacy of Kain) I feel like I blasted right through it though. I mean, it took me maybe six hours? Perhaps exploring more into the Cairn is where all the little quests seem to be hiding. I did recover the horse skull for Arvak along the first venture into the Cairn. And I didn't really like the place. The lightning and thunder was a bit of an annoyance. Still, I was expecting a bit more longevity. Is the Soul Cairn worth adventuring into again to complete hidden quests there? Or should I move onward to Dragonborn? His derelicts have already attempted my assassination twice now. He seems to be eager to get owned.

Rofl... That made me laugh right there! :teehee: I have yet to kill him and I am not intending to ever. I see no point to it really and no beneficial gain other than those two saps continuing to assist me? As if I needed any assistance. Psh! Where were they when I was fighting Alduin with real heroes? Hanging out in the Blades Sanctuary eating sweet rolls? Yesssss. Dovahkin is something they should respect more than their own personal agenda in my opinion. If not for You or I, they'd likely be burnt to a crisp. Respect the "Qahnaarin"! In real life I like dogs more than most people so I suppose in Skyrim I like dragons more than I like the people.
