  1. No need, my friend, I just figured it out! What I did was that I enabled auto-ghost for disabled mods trough Wrye Bash, and it solved all my problems! Thanks for all the help though, you're the best! Have a fantastic day!
  2. Edit: Problem solved! Enabled auto-ghost in Wrye Bash to remove all my disabled mods that were bloating my load order! Hello So after playing a Skyrim for a few hours, I turn off my computer, and the next day when loading up my save, none of the mods where loading. No esp. or esm. files where loading in game, altough mods affecting meshes and texture where working, as well as mods configuring SKSE, such as SkyUI. I've located the problem to do with the SkyrimPrefs.ini, as I've seen similar symptoms before. Note: I've been modding for quite some time. My SKyrim was modded and working perfectly, no hick-ups, the suddenly this happens. I'm using the Nexus Mod Manager, altough I have installed MO just to check it out, but I'm not using it. Installing MO did not kill my game, as this was weeks ago. I am aware that MO uses it's own SkyrimPrefs.ini, and I've made sure that the line bEnableFileSelection=1. I've tried to toogle SkyrimPrefs.ini with read-only enabled and disabled, makes no difference. I've tired to uncheck read-only the skyrim folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common, but to no avail, it re-checks itself after everytime I try. Disabling UAC doesn't change that, so there's no way around it. Not sure if this is a major issue or not. Not even the skyrim folder in my other drive I have as a backup lets me un-check read-only, so not sure if that's the issue. Specs: Load order: Note regarding my load order: Yes, it is indeed a mad amount of mods in a game. Yes I have a problem. But it worked fine, so it can't be the mods (direct) fault. Disabled the patches at the bottom since patchusmaximus made my game CTD. I disabled it and the other patches, and game's been running just fine since. Been coming around to fix that in the future. Also, I've merged a few armor mods and immersion mods togheter, as well as eyes, brows warpaints and the like togheter. Probably why patchusmaximus doesn't work, but that's not the cause of my problems here. Just ran LOOT after uploading my load order, didn't fix the problem. I've run NMM, LOOT, SKSE as administrator, nothing worked. Reinstalling mods in NMM didn't make them appear in-game. Revalidate game files in steam didn't work. Running the skyrim launcher nor the SKSE trough steam worked either. I can't imagine why reinstalling the whole game would fix anything, so haven't tried that yet, but that's my last resort unless anyone here has a better idea. I'm at my limit here guys, I've no idea what to do. If you got any ideas, please do help. Sorry for bad English, not my language. Been on the nexus for ages, and since this is my first troubleshoot ever, you can get the idea that I'm waist high in despair. Lots of love <3 Edit: Added spoiler-funciton for spec and load order Edit: Had this at the wrong discussion-category. What I've also done is making a bashed patch and made sure it all plays out well in Tes5Edit, and made sure that all my ini-files are not read only. Do you guys have any tips at all?
  3. Think I said that I did this in the original post, but no, this didn't help either. Thanks for trying, I really appreciate it :)
  4. Well, I tried to disable, then uninstall quite a few mods, but nothing changed. My Skyrim still appears as there's no mods installed at all, except for the ones editing textures/meshes. But thanks for the tip :)
  5. Hmm I'll try that next time, but don't you think it's strange that my game suddenly just stops loading mods altogheter like that? But what excactly happens when you surpass that 255 cap? Does your Skyrim just CTD on start or does nothing load at all, like my case right now? And again, thanks for the tip :) I'll let you know when I try it out ;)
  6. I did the steps. Haven't built a neat bashed patch with wrye bash before, but I've should've mentioned I've run it trough tess5edit earlier on. But still, doing your steps didn't fix it, sadly. But thanks for the tip

  8. Ah! I fixed it! I completely disloged every single thing ever related to CBBE, both the complete Bodyslide tool and all armors, from the game, and when I reinstalled everything, all nice and clean, the melted meshes was gone!
  9. *This problem is now fixed* Uhm, this is going to be slighty difficult to explain, as I'm not entriely sure how on earth I managed to accomplish such untold bounds of blissfullness that I single-handldly "gooified" the CBBE meshes. It all started out on a seemingly innocent evening of playing fallout, that the particular arrogant idiot, in other words me, started out on a journey that the ignorant narcissist that I am, believed that I could do what I pressumed would be (and what literally the ENTIRE MODDING COMMUNTY has already established which is) the easiest task of retextureing an armor. Long story short, I corrupted EVERY .DDS FILE THERE IS by having it to open in another program than what it should be. As my errors had broken my game, corrupted my save, set fire to my computer, killed my cat, and stole both my house and car, I actually managed to revert the damage that had been dealt, and now all my .dds files function as normal. (yay!) Which leads to this topic. Because now, as it really isn't as bad as it was to begin with, most of the installed armors are now gooified. As seen in the picture below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/slirqlhibwa0ofo/Skjermbilde%20%281%29.png?dl=0 I can have you rest assured, CBBE is installed correctly. All the files that are supposed to be included in the mod, are in the mod, and every file belongs to the folder it should be in. I've disabled all mods that should retexture the body. The body does not always look like this though. It only happens with most of the armor mods where a majority of skin is revealed (f.ex. Eli's Sleeveless Outfits (though it happens with most of the armors from this mod, it doesn't happen with all of them, and there is no apparent pattern to why only some mods are affected by this)). I would assume there is something that is being overwritten somewhere, but I can assure you that I have tried replacing the current mod files with "unspoiled" ones, but to no avail To conclude, something weird is happening, I caused it, and now I don't now how to fix it. I despise myself much more than you do, so no need for the shaming, as I am already quite able to shame myself. Thank you  Edit: Fix: Ah! I fixed it!
