  1. can we get a file type search? so we can search for ESL, ESM, ESP, or whatever else it can just be a tag people can add because let's face it with ESL files being rather new they seem to only have a few modders taking advantage of them.
  2. so looking throughout all of the scrap mods I have noticed one common issue and that is they do one of two things allow you to scrap way too much or scrap to little. so I was thinking someone could use something like a holotape to set what can be scrapped so for example toggle roads which would then let you scrap the roads but then toggling it again turns off the ability to scrap them. or it can be a simple holotape with predetermined scrapped items that you just then click on that and it will run code to disable them and give you items based on that.
  3. o I started up a mod and I have it released as it has done what I sought out to do. but I'm wanting to update the mod to where the doors are held in its own section instead of the door category. I also am having a weird issue with ai not moving about and going to resource plots in the settlements I created. the above issues this is just been some issues that have popped up that I want to get done for ease of use for the players downloading this mod. for other modders the reason I'm wanting to do this is that I want it to be a free use mod that can allow other modders to edit the mod or one of the cells to their liking so they can simply just place a door down in a settlement and enter it a lot like the build your own vault mod just much more simple for other modders as its pretty simple in creating new settlement doors. before you guys say anything about the second part yes I have a navmesh in the area its just a lot of the settlement is built by the player link to pc version of mod https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4060884 if any of you want to see what the mod does or take a look at where it is as of now

  7. yeah seems the script isn't running as I added it to onload and still got nothing
  8. no, I am not in survival but now that I know that I will change that teleport command to something more appropriate. which it should still be playing the message shouldn't it
  9. so I started creating a mod that has doors that can be placed while in the workshop mode that will allow the player to load into another cell a lot like the build your own vault mod. I am new to the PCS so don't really know what I'm doing. which from what if seen so far this code below should work but doesn't. I'm assuming I need a lot more like a self-reference for the door but I'm not sure.   10. just suggesting adding a filter to search for mods that match a certain version of the game. I know some games don't need it as much but some games can benefit from this such as 7 days to die or other games that are receiving updates or are in (alpha/beta).
  11. ahh thats what you meant then thats a little more understandable why it hasnt been done really beyond the make your own vault mod
  12. thats why im thinking more of having say 10 individual doors that lead to different type of cells ranging from small to large settlement build limits each door being a different type of door and individually named. that could help out a bit possibly. each cell would just have to have a two by two platform made of wood with a door on one of the sections and the workshop right next to the door

I would like to request for someone to make a mod that adds a few doors to the workshop menu that link to an almost empty cell that is their own workshop space. so we can build a fake building or place them on a pre-existing building with no entrance and "build a settlement in it" a lot like the build your own vault mod. the only other request I would have with this is fake windows that emit light in the day but is not needed just makes it more immersive. the reason I am requesting this mod is that let's face it hangman ally sucks and you can't build anything in it or you run out of space in your settlement so just make one of these and you could and a basement where you couldn't before or add more detail where you couldn't in the outside world. my only other request is for you to add it to Xbox or at least let me add it and if you want me to ill remove after I get it. on a side note, i do have Fallout 4 for PC but lack the time to learn the creation kit to make this mod.

I can do this for you, it may take a bit longer than the other follower mods, but it's doable - at least the follower part, I don't have the scripting abilities that it would take to make them ask for equipment. What I need from you is a list of locations that you want these followers to be, if you have any in mind. Otherwise I'll just be searching google for random locations. the only location I can think of with a cell is the cave near bleak falls barrow called brittleshin pass and I think there is one near the fort dawnguard entrance but I do need to take the time to update that mod request. I dont mind not having the prisoners not asking for things but ill end up updating it today with a section of cell locations and would love for others to add other locations with cells.
  15. well in that case you could try switching the slot it takes with CK or something but other than that I dont think anyone has done that yet
