Okay well, I had sweetFX on and apparently that doesn't Like Afterburner. So I wasn't able to monitor my FPS as a accurate number. I installed ENBoost and checked with that FPS counter. I get 70-120FPS outside running up to Dragon Reach. But 40-70 running down from Dragon Reach. Indoors I hit 300FPS but reguardless of the FPS my camera stutters. Any fix for this? I'll be turning VSync on but I don't think that is the problem

It was more of a general question. Randomly my fps will seem to drop to 45-56 range from 56-62 range. My camera also doesn't seem to be very smooth when moving, this could simulate fps drop to me I guess? I dropped the plug ins from 86 to 68. Ideally I'd like to have a steady 60 FPS and a low performance ENB (to fix shadows and bloom etc), and not blurry textures with a smooth camera. So: 1. is there something to make my camera smooth? Right now its a little jagged when I move. 2. Will ENBoost actually help these problems? If so is there somewhere for good user settings for AMD?

Hello everyone. So I will say first, yes my Skyrim game is modded, No I don't have an ENB(I do have Sweet FX though). I have roughly 74 mods running and 86 plugins (This accounts for many patches but not the few that aren't enabled. My PC Specs are: CPU: i7 2600 @ 4.0ghz GPU: R9 290x MSI Twin Frozr PSU: RM750 16GB Ram I don't have ENBoost running because I tend to not see how it helps. So would that many mods really limit my performance? Not really anything texture or new model wise, least not to the extreme. I'll post a screenshot in case that helps. I haven't really done much testing with Vanilla Skyrim. After all this rambling if it is not clear what I wish to know, I don't blame you if you didn't understand it. TLDR: 1. Shouldn't those specs be enough to have an amazing FPS in skyrim? 2. Does that amount of mods really drain the FPS? 3. If yes to question 2, which mods would be best to get rid of? Including the SweetFx as a mod.

Which ENB would be for me?

Would a mod like ULO(PLUS) solve bad looking shadows? Or are there Ini tweaks I'm unaware of? -
Computer Specs: CPU i7 2600k @4.0 GPU AMD R9 290x RAM 16gb SSDs 1080p resolution. I'd like realistic lighting, performance friendly, and no weather features. Most important I want it to fix my shadows and be light on performance.

Okay so I'll be straight forward. I want to get the Sound Blaster Z which is a 5.1 sound card. and I have the Corsair 2100 headset which is a USB headset. This apparently bypasses the computer sound card and uses its own. Is there a way to re/un bypass this to use the computers sound card? If my sound card is 5.1 and headset is 7.1 or vise versa what happens?

Hello everyone. So the two problems are. 1. Some times water seems to "flicker" and gives me a very ugly sound that can be a few seconds to constantly happening. 2. What do I need to make Standing stones and races from SkyRe work with Character Creation Overhaul? LO:

Bash Patch or Merged Patch, or both?

Which Lighting Mod is the Best?
Deleted5094879User replied to SothaChill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well if you speak of Lightning mods then don't mention CoT as it is more or less a Weather mod. " I was wondering if anyone could give me insight as to if any of these are better than my current setup, or if I should switch mods." As I said, Pure Weather is better than CoT(your current setup). and my personal preference is ELFX for lighting. -

Pure Weathers is better than CoT. - It is absolutely performance free - I feel it runs nicer as well I like to use ELFX for my lighting mow and Ultimate Lighting Overhaul for my ENB. -
Just wondering, which is better for Skyrim or which isn't not needed.

Took the LO sample from the web site you linked(being that I am basically only using FWE MMM Fellout and another weather mod that list helped. Going to play some and see what happens. If something does I'll try doing whats under the MUM section. (Btw would that work with Skyrim and TES5EDIT?) EDIT: two crashes already while loading up a save after death. seeing what I can do with this whole MUM thing.

What do you look for in a Mod? (University Research)
Deleted5094879User replied to Xalchs's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The first sub question i'd like to ask is what draws you towards a mod? Is it the name that attracts you? Perhaps its the Bio? I'd love to know just for basic marketing research. What is it that makes you want to read more about a mod. Usually the name will bring me to the mod but the mod type itself is what makes me test it out. The second question i'd like to ask is what type of mod do you usually look for? is it an expansion? Perhaps a quest? or something that updates the games quality of life? I like to get immersive mods and overhauls. And finally i'd like to ask what do you look for the most in a mod? Is it humor? Action? Story? Game benefits? References? I like working mods that don't conflict in many mods. Game benefits aswell. -

If you can load the mod up in game try traveling from one side to another. Then Skyrim, see how the times differ. -
Bad FPS with Performance ENB
Deleted5094879User replied to falldown444's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
with seasons of skyrim I get 60FPS mostly but it makes my pc sound like a jet engine, *waves my hand goodbye* no need for that. from what I've seen even with ENB's is even performance you'll get some fps drop, 20frames from a performance ENB is not right though. TC, please C/P the load order into a spoiler tag so we can look at it? People don't like to download files from one another that isn't through the nexus itself. If you have a lot of mods, esp texture mods that can cause a large FPS drop, also try lowering texture quality to high then medium.- 5 replies
