Below are 2/3 of the IniPrefs in My documents Skyrim
-
Hello friends. So I have a question about CTD. I get them in Skyrim every now and then and seemingly for no reason. I can get one randomly in skyrim, go back and not get it again in that spot. one example was in whiterun just past the Brewery I CTD on horse, reloaded went back on horse no CTD.
There was a time same thing but on death, and again same thing but on logo.
So BOSS, TESEDIT, and Wrye Bash all say my load order is okay, I can post it if someone would like to look at it for a more manual check.
Could someone help me figure out why these CTD's are happening and if they are solvable?
Below is the IniSettings for mydocuments skyrim.

So I read the guide for the Wrye Bash. kind of got an idea but why is this any different from using NMM? Could anyone help with these questions?
-
1. NMM doesn't show me the latest version of my mods.
How can I fix this? Most of that column is blank.
2. I need a guide for using Wrye Bash is there any good ones people can think of?
Including for Wyre Bash's uses.
I did manage to find this guide http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Wrye_Bash#tab=Pre-installation
Does this cover everything I'd need to know or again is there better guides?

In terms of the mods themselves I suggest watching Gopher's Modding Skyrim playlist and take it from there.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/45047//?
I don't think this is it but IT sounds like what you want.
I'd also take a look at SkyRe I don't know if they incorporate this or not already.

Download, unpack to any directory and look for the "Scripts" folder.
So like my Documents/Games Folder or Steam/Skyrim folder?
-
Scripts are kept as loose files or in bsa archive. They have extension .pex. These are already compiled files written in Papyrus language. If you want to edit them you need to have source files (with extension .psc). Sometimes these files are provided by author with .pex files... So you should unpack the EOS file and look at its contents
The EOS has a loose files download. What would I do with those?
-
Yes, exactly. You simply look at the changed records and so you see what you will need to change.
How would I go around to re-create the scripts used? I can see some of the scripts or at least I think it is scripts. things like EOSTemperSteelSword etc etc.

1. Look at these two mods in Tes5edit
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16231/?
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2762/?
2 and 3. You will need to change merchant's chests. You will find their names if you open Economy of Skyrim in Tes5edit
4. The most difficult part. I think it is changed via scripts. So you will have to look at Economy of Skyrim scripts (which are quite buggy...)
5. you will need to change global value "roomcost" or something like that. Just type 'room' in CK and you will find it.
I'm not an expert of TESVEdit, only know how to clean mods. Anything I need to do when I look at them?
EDIT: Okay so I got to download EoS from the link above and I can't download it via nexus mod manager because it is considered "Simple borderless window".
But I opened it up in TESVEdit and I think I can see what you mean by looking at it in TESVEDIT.
What info am I looking for though? like what he changed?
-
I can still download it? Because that mod getting taken down is the reason I want to try and make a mod like it. Skyrim Medieval Economy is nice but so broken.

I am curious if someone can tell me how to do this in the Creation Kit.
Examples:
1. Lowering Gold gained and prices of items bought/sold.
2. Decreases Amount of items sold and make vendors sell realistic things.
3. Regulate who sells what; Blacksmiths only melee and heavy armor, Ranger shop light and archery, Alchemist alchemy ingredients and magic supplies.
4. Determine the prices via Regions. Examples: Riften you can sell Pelts for a decent price but if you sell them in Solitude you will get more for it. (distance acquired and regional values)
5. Inn's rent rooms for low X value instead of Vanilla. Blacksmiths/Alchemists will rent their equipment for usage.
All in all I'd like to know how to recreate EOS- Economic's of Skyrim.

thank you.

Did you check Chesko's mod?
-
There's an ability to stop dragon from flying already.
Well I don't want a mod for it. I want to know how to script it so I can add it to my dungeon.
-
I'd like to put a Grounded Dragon in my Dungeon - so they cannot fly out of the map. Is this possible with scripting?
-
Does anyone else know of tutorials or other programs?
-
I plan on making the dungeon, making a standalone follower and then a quest to go with it. my overall plan within the next 4 years is to make a mod like Falskaar.
I'm having problems with the NorPit pieces can't understand how to connect them to a hallway/room.
-
PS: Text or Youtube videos are fine, not picky.
@Seraph I made a small dungeon mod and I'm making a new one now.

Hey all I'm starting my modding career and so far I have just the Creation kit. I also have GIMP and I just installed 3DS MAX 2014 and Nifskope but I don't know how to use those 2 programs.
So could anyone list any other programs or files I need to start modding? any modding at all, scripting...retextures..new textures...new animations..standalone followers etc etc etc.
All tutorials would be nice from beginners to experts for 3DS MAX and Nifskope.
Also something about BSA files, do I need to install something to find them?
-
Will the Max Tools plug ins work for new versions of 3DS MAX?

Need CTD Help(Not at Logo).
