This is an issue in dawnguard had the same thing

Running the game without Dawnguard and Update fixed my issue guess I'll have to wait for a more stable release

I have put the update above the dawnguard still no luck

So starting a game of skyrim this time with a set of mods and I have carefully fixed a few of the bugs I started with but I am having one that I have been stuck on for hours. When using a hand to hand weapon (one or two) the only attack I can do is a 'hard hit' by holding left or right click respectively. While I cannot cast spells or shot a bow and arrow at all, no matter what combo I use. I have started trying to disable potential bad apples in the mods I am using but not only do they not get rid of this bug. I only have a save with all the mods so I am concerned that when I load it up with or without all my mods it is the same save so it is keeping the bug.
