OK so can this all be done in fo4edit or do I need to use the creation kit

That was actually another question I had as I'm not sure how to properly optimize/compress files for porting or what tools I need to do so, I've looked at a couple guides however they don't perfectly translate to what I'm trying to doIf you create the BA2 yourself just make sure you use Xbox compression for the textures archive

Thank you yes that is exactly what I want to do, specifically the reason is I've modded the smg and Minigun to be more usable in mid/late game however it means facing them @ lower levels is just painful

I figured it out I just extracted them to my data folder and then I could pack them in the creation kit I believe I could also manually add them to my xb1 folder

I'm looking to add a negative damage multiplier against the player for 2 weapons, in a similar way that point lookout has a bonus damage multiplier, I tried reverse engineering from the point lookout mod however it just results in the npc not equipping the gun at all

So I'm trying to port a mod to xbox but for some reason it's not uploading the ba2 files and I don't know why

I'm working on a patch between equilibrium and gunsmith overhaul and I'm not sure what I've done wrong but every time I quit the game or try to start a new game it crashes to desktop. all changes are made in fo4edit.

I want to add packrat back to fallout 4 possibly in the 4th and 5th ranks of strong back I'm just not sure what program Would be easier to do it in. Any suggestions? I have the creation kit, fo4edit, and nifscope but if there's something else that is better for this task I'm interested in trying it

I'm new to the creation kit but I just want to make a small change to the position of the postman npc from Deadpool2099's service rifle mod because everytime they spawn in the ground I'm not sure if I can change this in fo4edit if that would be easier

I'm new to modding and looking at making several mods for fallout 4 but I'm wondering about what specifically requires permission and if I create something that does the same thing as another mod how it all works. For example: if I want to change the damage type of the flamer to fire damage but another mod already does that do I need to ask them even though I didn't copy them because there's only one way to do that. I'm not talking about quests or full weapon mods just very basic changes that are easy to make. I just want to make sure I won't get banned because my mod and another share a change

It would just take altering the leveled list and if you're using a weapon mod that adds anything you would need a patch to remove it. If you had a list of what you're using I may make a patch just to practice my modding

I'm currently working on adding/changing calibers in gunsmith overhaul and I don't know how to make the ammo mod an actual misc item that can be swapped. Basically I can craft the mod but it doesn't go into my inventory when I swap it. I'm using fo4edit any help would be appreciated thanks

Looking for a mod that allows the equilibrium changes to work with gunsmith overhaul also want it to be available for multiple platforms

If it's just for you, you can make an edit in FO4Edit and save to a new esp. Open the esp in FO4Edit, find the weapon and its constituent forms (whichever holds the damage dealing property), double-click to edit, dismiss the warning, edit, save, test.

Negative armor penetration fallout4

Just a quick question in fallout4 if I were to add a negative value to the armor penetration of a weapon mod ie. armor piercing reciever in fo4edit would it work or would the game not register it because I want a similar effect to the hollowpoint ammo from New vegas
