  1. Just a quick question in fallout4 if I were to add a negative value to the armor penetration of a weapon mod ie. armor piercing reciever in fo4edit would it work or would the game not register it because I want a similar effect to the hollowpoint ammo from New vegas

  2. If you create the BA2 yourself just make sure you use Xbox compression for the textures archive

    That was actually another question I had as I'm not sure how to properly optimize/compress files for porting or what tools I need to do so, I've looked at a couple guides however they don't perfectly translate to what I'm trying to do

  4. I want to add packrat back to fallout 4 possibly in the 4th and 5th ranks of strong back I'm just not sure what program Would be easier to do it in. Any suggestions? I have the creation kit, fo4edit, and nifscope but if there's something else that is better for this task I'm interested in trying it

I'm new to modding and looking at making several mods for fallout 4 but I'm wondering about what specifically requires permission and if I create something that does the same thing as another mod how it all works. For example: if I want to change the damage type of the flamer to fire damage but another mod already does that do I need to ask them even though I didn't copy them because there's only one way to do that. I'm not talking about quests or full weapon mods just very basic changes that are easy to make. I just want to make sure I won't get banned because my mod and another share a change
