  1. It appears that Bethesda reused a lot of assets from previous games in making Starfield. The color maps in Starfield are very similar to the color maps in Oldrim. The difference being that Oldrim's texture files were something like 512x512 and Starfield's texture files are 2048x2048.
  2. Typically LOD detail is determined by distance from the camera. Unless you're moving very far away from your character when taking your photo in photo mode (I don't know if it's even possible to get that far from your character in photo mode), the LOD modelling should be the same regardless of being in the UI/inventory screen or "in-game." The UI has a really shitty lighting source(s). Try finding a spot in game with good 'natural' lighting to take your portraits
  3. Wow...I hope Bethesda fixes this and soon. Hopefully Bethesda won't leave this to mod creators to fix like they did the majority of the problems in Oldrim.
  4. LOLing....of all the mods to request, you request this one. I'm dying here.....lol
  5. What maps are you editing? Try just editing the color maps. It could also be the color profile you're using in Paint. You need to be using a srgb color profile and you need to be outputting to an srgb profile as well. I use Photoshop. Gimp is probably better for texture editing than Paint but just guessing.
