  1. I will try this too. Thank you for the advice! Update: worked great for me. Thanks again!
  2. Yep. I had just finished modding the game two days ago and finally started my playthrough when this happened. :D Let´s hope the mod makers are still around!
  3. Hello! Today, I wanted to start up Skyrim and SKSE refused work. Apparently, the latest version, which seems to be 1.05.08 isn't up-to-date for the current Skyrim version. However, the SKSE page states it's compatible with 1.6.87.0 as of 26 May 2012. To my knowledge there haven't been any Skyrim updates since. Why did my SKSE stop working in the night from 04.06 to 05.06? I tried reinstalling it.
  4. Oh, this actually makes sense. I think the player marker is unique. It could be made transparent or just a brown dot or something... Now we only need a modding wizard to do the trick! :D Tested the mod with a map with hidden markers. Maybe it's just me, but the descriptions are still very vague and hardly help in finding the objective. It certainly doesn't replace map markers - for me, at least.I suppose I'll just continue hoping that someone makes a mod which hides/removes only the player location marker.
  5. I tried the better quest objective mod and it does improve the situation somewhat. Still have to see how it works in the long run, but now the quest descriptions give at least an approximate location of the objective.

  7. Oh, wow. What makes you so confident? Have you done somethung similar before? PS - when will you have a PC?
  8. Wonderful! Thank you and good luck! sorry no luck ; ( Ah, thanks for trying! Does it seem to be impossible? Can you remove only all the markers togather?

  10. This might sound absurd, but I really can't enjoy Skyrim if the in-game map looks just like the one I have in my phone. This mod hides all map markers, making it almost perfect. Sadly, with all the markers removed, completing side quests is very difficult because you often don't get any directions to the objectives except for the map marker, which is in this case invisible. Is it possible to remove the player location marker without removing all other markers or preventing new markers to appear? The mentioned mod proves that removing markers is possible. Is is also possible to remove just the player marker?
