Whoever makes it possible to Fist Bump my companion after slaying a dragon is going to win mod of the year.

1.) You can only Marry Once.
2.) There are only a select group of NPCs that you can marry. Link to eligible Bachelors and Bachelorettes.
3.) You have to complete quests for those NPCs before you can marry them/before they show interest.
-
You'll need the game running when you check the task manger.

Those are the LoD(Level of Detail) versions of some of those armor pieces. LoD items are the low end version of objects/actors that are used for setting up far out settings or as a place holder when loading/running the game.
As to why the textures aren't "popping" to their high-res versions, I have no idea.

CTRL + Alt + DEL -> Task Manager -> (Preformance Tab) I think that there is some stats on how your CPU and Ram is being used. I could be wrong.

OK Seriously, ive seen skyrim at a friends house in full detail on big screen and ill admit its beautiful... like amazingly beautiful but that's it. That's all the game has to offer, nothing else is any "good" in this game.
Lets take a look
1- NPC's ( ok im not even going to touch what they look like ) but like seriously is it me or does everyone wear the same crap and has the same things to say?
2- town -LOL right might as well give them all the same name since you find the same crap in every city you visit. ( im not talking visual or architectures, im saying they all feel like one another... generic).
2- items ( lmao common really ? you can have an iron/steel/orc/dwarven/glass/ebony and deadric, sword WOOOOOOW now that's variety worthy of a whole continent. In all of skyrim, all the people who make iron sword, they all use the same mold haha yeah way to go individualism.) no seriously compared to freaking fable skyrim seems like it has no items choice ...
3-classes- yeah yeah i know that garbage about no class blah blah blah their feeding the player community, but when i played oblivion i made a cloth wearing mage/rogue/assassin type hero while there was a class system. it was cool, i had millions of interesting clothing items to choose from to arrange the look i wanted and with the specific class system i could still make a hero who held a sword, could block with it and had a spell ready to cast...
In skyrim this is how it works :
equip sword/ start fight :
swing-block-q-equip armor spell-q- use left handed spell-q- unequipped left handed spell-q- block... are you f***ing kidding me? spells and attacks need different cast keys period. and that stupid q page gets soooooo loaded that at the end of the game its faster to tab+2 left click + select school + select spells witch is soooo long that if i can manage with out using a spell i will because changing what is in you hands is a chore in this game.
4- spells- like ok i get in a dungeon and i want to make a zombie, cool np ill find something and kill it, ok done now zombie is up lets find something to kill with my zombie ... now by the time i get to the next room its a pile of ash... ok cool np i get an endless zombie at lvl 100 conj nice so ill spam 60 sec zombies all game long till i get it at 100... wooohoo 200 hours of spamming summon zombie now lets make a thrall... ok this npc doesn't work .. and this one nope ... ok woohooo i found something to raise lets go to a dungeon to kill s*** with it ... on the way i see a saber cat , haha zombie get it ... zombie where are you ??? ohhh lol ok hes stuck on that rock trying to get abound the tree... nice ... very nice skill .ok restart hero and make something that doesn't depend on stupid crap npc's for damage (btw the ONLY cool summon spell is the dremora). ohhh and dont make a zombie while fighting if there are no weapons around cuz he will find one in your cell and run to it leaving you alone... also an nice AI feature ( why cant i just give him one god dammit)
ok now made an archer and well i realized npc's cant cross water ... or wont lol so i just jump from ledge to ledge shooting them while they run around trying to get me ... nice once again bethesda good job , probably took really long to program such good AI.
ok warrior time now , well lets put it this way got tired of looking at the same 5 swords after a few hours and got fed up (ohh and btw get muffle and you can sneak in heavy ... nice very useful wearing leather in this game... (btw is it me or is the 2h animation totally retarded?)
and do i need to talk about the sneak skill lol... 4 feet in front of an npc with muffle and 86 sneak he cant see me ... IM STANDING IN THE LIGHT FOR f*#@S SAKES GIVE THIS GUY GLASSES OR HIRE GUARDS WHO CAN SEE AT LEAST 4 FEET IN FRONT OF THEM.
now before you start with mods blah blah blah, let me tell you if i wanted to create my own game i would... i want to play a finished game that's why i go to the store and buy my games plus since so much is missing in the game that, with all the mods im adding i have to seriously be concerned about balance...
I love mods but i love a complete game when modding i don't wana feel like im fixing the game.
Im an big fan of morrowing and oblivion witch were great games but skyrim falls very short of my expectations...
end of rant lol
regards
a disgruntled player who is seriously considering whether or not i will buy more bethesda games in the futur...
Cool story bro.
You mad?
Don't like the game. Don't play it. End of story.

Such things were already made for Oblivion Tabaxi race or something like that. I have no doubt with how many Otaku mod Bethesda games, that there will be a neko mods.
-
A work around is the Daedra Summon Platform beneath the Mage College. Use it to summon monsters to capture their souls.
-
then how does one re-synchronize it?
-
Biggest issue is probably the Gamebryo engine.
-
I was watching my Khajiit Assassin while he was running the other day. I couldn't help but notice how his tail would twitch/roll back and forth when he was running. The worst part was the animation had so few keys that it kept flashing back and forth rather than smoothly animating that movement.

Ugh, when has a Naruto mod EVER been a good idea?
If you want Naruto Shippuden. Then PLAY Naruto Shippuden. *Facepalm*

Hurray! \0/

Any mods? If so try turning them off/cuting them out of the data file and place them in a bakup folder to test run.

You pick up a book and open it >>> audion start playing >>> to fast forward you can swith to next page in book and audio will start from there >>> close book to stop reading.
We can make an option so that player can keep hearing audio even after the book is closed till he drops this book somewhere.
Not bad ideas. Fast forwarding might be difficult to do if there is no events that detect page movement. It also requires a new level of editing that requires either A.) Each book be divided into multiple Wave Files for every two pages. B.) Every book needs a unique script/DB that holds the bookmark(Time Stamp) points for every two pages in the audiofile. Since having the fast-forward feature adds a number of extra tasks I think it would be best to label it as a desired end feature but not a primary requirement for Concept testing phases.
I think logisticly it would be cleaner to use a spell effect for the reading of the books. The reason being A.) Spells are a built in feature in which the UI is already designed to handle. Adding a Illusion spell that doesn't actualy do anything other than adding a generic magic effect called "Vocalize" or what have you. Would be easier to implement than having to alter UI windows in the options sections. The other reason I would recommend going with the spell route is simple due to the fact that then the books won't read themselves everytime they open a book but only when they have cast the spell beforehand.
Hmm Though we can also look into the possiblity of adding control keys to activate the readings. The main question will be how much of the input system is Hard coded and how much is/can be softcoded. Obviously the majority of these questions cannot be truely answered untill after we the modders get ahold of the SyCK.
In Summary our current Scripting Conceptial Development Notes/tasks:
Primary:
Investigate the functionality Skyrim Scripting.
Determine viability of both options/hotkey method and spell method.
Investigate the Hardcoded functions/methods tied to the playing of audio in the game.
Secondary:
Investigate the possiblity of a Fast-forwarding ability and it's logistical needs.

Then perhaps one temp fix is a enable command in console? I'll try it when I get home today.
-
Ahh then there is a way to get command mode without conversing. Would be nice if it had greater range. Still better than nothing!
-
but they should be able to run right through those traps, maybe. thats what mine does about 80% of the time they can get pass them or not they just keep on smacking it.
Really depends on the trap, main problem are the Spike wall traps triggered with preasure plates. Not game breaking or anything, and I'm a mage so I can heal my Housecarl right back up when he does a face plant on those spike walls.
Deftainly will like to get a mod for that!
Thanks for the info though!

Shouldn't be very hard to script this.
At least in the gamebryo version of the editor all books are activators that can run scripts when use. I presume this functionality still exists ad reading books can give quests and skill points in skyrim.
Thus it should merely be a point of having the script point to the appropriate imported sound file for the book, assuming of course the "Verbalize" spell is active on the player.
The tricky part is probably going to be finding a good and efficent way to have the already playing sound file to be canceled and removed from the sound queue. It will either be really easy to do that or really tricky. Either way I don't see why it is not a very doable script/mod.

Is there a hot key to be put into companion command mode?
Its really annoying to have to talk to my companion every time I need to give him directions on how to avoid a trap or attack a foe. I seem to remember there being talk about a hotkey for it but I don't see it in the keybind options in the game.

I was wondering if there is a bookshelf fix for the 1.2 patch at the moment?
The bug where the Bookshelf "Node" gets unusable and the books are frozen.
-
Love the concept, I hope this mod really takes off. Once the Syck (Skyrim Creation Kit) is released I'd be happy to help script for this mod should you need a scripter.
-
I like the Dragon Whelp/adolesents are a good idea. Rather than just having a generic fully grown "easy" to kill dragon from level one it should start off with whelps and adolesent dragons.
I'd be really interested in seeing how lowering the scale of the dragon would effect its mechanics. The primary probably I could see is that the effects for breath might not scale, and the "bite and toss" killing blow they have wouldn't work/look right.

Three words friend. 10+ points to those that get my point.
Salmon and Butterflies.

In theory this should be quite possible as I know oblivion received a great deal of custom animations. I think it only gets tricky when you try to link up two separate targets into an animation.
HOWEVER, since they added kill cam moves in which a character directly interacts with another, it should in theory be quite possible to reverse engineer those and produce a similar event for a Fist Bump(Aka Brofist)
Can't wait till the CK is released for us to make this happen!
