I actually just joined the forum because I'm also interested in creating mods, specifically for custom furniture. Visual mods. It's been driving me crazy that my spouse's room (Sebastian) uses a floor which doesn't exist as an item in the catalogue, and doesn't match the rest of my room. Also, there's hardly anything for 'darker' furniture, and no nice purple furniture or anything. I know you posted this over a month ago, but if you happen to see my reply and get back to me, I'm pretty skilled with pixel art, (used to work for a Habbo fansite as a custom graphics artist) not good with coding though. Would be willing to work with someone on that project :happy:
