I fixed it the settings were wrong I just set them to default and it works

as the title says and no mods or dlcs active

ok I changed to another laptop that's the same as my other one and when I tried to play oblivion the game loads the menus work but there's nothing on the screen its either dark grey or blue green I tried deleting the saved games same thing disabled all mods and dlcs same thing happens with a new game

Windows 7 ? Update to the 1.5 patch first and then go Here and update by clicking the 5.5 toward the bottom of the page and choose the one that is appropriate for your system and follow the prompts to uninstall the Tages drivers . Then retry the game . Got it fixed it was the tages driver

done and its still coming up with an error about a driver Tages protection

i just bought the witcher enhanced editon and installed it then i clicked the lauch game button and it pops up with this error: Insufficient privileges: you must be administrator when you run this application for the first time. the problem is i am the administrator so i changed the privileges and try it again and it still pops up. can someone help me? btw my computer is a toshbia satellite l675d amd turiom II dual core2.4 ghz 4 gig of ram and running win 7 home premium
