  1. Hi all, I am an intermediate CK user. I would like to make Elder Scrolls droppable so they are not stuck in my inventory. Cannot find the box to allow that...does anyone know how to do this? It is odd because with e.g. quest weapons, you can just go into the CK and tick 'droppable'...but not with scrolls or books, it appears. Please help? Also strange is the fact that ordinary books are droppable by default but I see no clear difference between them and Elder Scrolls in the CK except Script.

  4. Hi, I have Deadly Mutilation, have personally modded my game so that weapons do far more damage and on top of that have Duel Combat Realism. Arrows now kill in 2 shots or so unless you have crap arrows vs good armour, and if you get hit by an enemy powerattack at a similar level to you with a greatsword, it is a 1 shot kill unless armor is far better than the weapon. However, I still get stupid things like enemies (especially in the Falskaar mod!) making immersion breaking comments. In vanilla, it is possible to shoot an enemy through the chest with an arrow and they say crap like 'you can do better than that' or whatever. Falskaar is even worse (I stopped playing that mod due to this immersion breaking combat-sound issue). They should be screaming. Combat needs to be far more violent - it feels cartoony even with my changes in comparison to the high immersion rest of the game world. Can anyone help me with this? Are there any mods which could solve my specifically audio problems or a workaround? Even Deadly Mutilation does not really fix the problem...hitting an enemy with a sword causes their arm to fall off and they just die. It should be far more violent than this. Only semi-fix I have found is using magic with DM mod which basically makes enemies explode, but this is not much of a fix for archery or melee. Hope you can help. Apparently I am not allowed to offer to pay modders for commission based work on here. Pm me if you wish to keep comments private.
  5. yeah not bad but hilariously overpowered vs some enemies who i dont want massive sneak attacks vs e.g. draugr + everything that isnt in playable races. @jack: yeah its them talking and that is core problem ofc it is, but how do i stop that? no one seems to know, and i looked in voices.bsa but have no idea what im doing. i told you i even put out a post saying i would pay for a modder to sort this out by changing voice files but no replies. @anyone reading: i found a temporary fix with mod Arrows and Bolt Tweaks. Made arrows 150% more damage and enchanted some stuff for +archery. Guards with bows are now horrifyingly dangerous (1 shot me). On the upside, sneak attacks will kill most playableraces in 1 hit with bow and also i dont get fights vs playableraces where they are still fighting and yelling 'YOU HAVE NO CHANCE' with 4 arrows sticking out of their throat. High level draugr still take quite a few hits.
  6. No offense but its a game. For me the hack hack hack hack hack power hack and dead enemy is immersion breaking. If someone would do that to you you would be around in pieces. If you want realistic damage, use Realistic Damage V2 mod. your upgraded 1H sword will do over 300 dmg, but you can still block many hits, and THAT is realistic. You can do 1shot/1hit kill unarmored enemies, and kill armored with 2-3hits. But NPCs arent ready for this type of fight. I use mods what makes em more carefully, they block more, and flank you, but still not efficient and easier to kill em. But if u want arrows to one shot ppl, then this mod would be fair, that, lets say 3 other guard will fu.k you off with their 200-300 dmg swords after you kill their mate :D I am checking out this mod, but as you said, AI arent ready for it. The blocking more and flanking more bit I have too, due to Duel Combat Realism mod. Sigh all I want is for sneak attacks with bows to do way more damage then I am happy.
  7. @Mariano I use both of these. I have around 120 mods on my game. @Sovanak hackhackhackhackhack? I only need to hit an enemy a couple of times. If i get hit with 2 arrows from a town guard I die. Trust me my combat is pretty realistic. I spent levels 1-20 running away from bears because it was suicide to fight them in melee. More mods. @Jack013 I cant find them and dont have time. I would pay for someone to do it for me but no one will/hire a modder.
  8. sure but I have asked modders and put up a mod request or two in various places and no one will help. I offered to pay for help from a modder but apparently this was against EULA so i cant pay someone to do it. so im stuck trying to convince people they should help me for free and not getting anywhere

  10. 1. Problem: Bandits/vampires/humanoids say 'what was that?' when hit by arrows from sneak. Also they should not say the other stupid ones (you should know what I mean) including but not limited to 'what was that sound?', 'Is someone there?' (lol), ' I though I heard something!'. It is fine for nearby enemies to say these things if they hear an ally under attack. Why?: totally unrealistic/immersion breaking. Proposed solution: replace this sound file with one for bandit scream of pain/shout (which i know exists because it is played in combat sometimes). Paying: edited because apparently its against EULA to pay for this so i cant say i will here 2. Problem: Not enough items visible on character. Carrying a sword and a bow? Sword should be visible on hip when bow is drawn. At the moment, it is not. Why? unrealistic/immersion breaking. Proposed solution: create 'item slots' so if my character is carrying a sword and a bow, they should be both visible (this would also mean I can;t carry more than one sword or more than one bow at any time which is fine). Paying: edited because apparently its against EULA to pay for this so i cant say i will here 3. NB. I am not a modder and have no idea how much work or time, expertise either of these would take. Reply on thread if interested. Will expect to be able to test mod. Private message me if interested in helping.
  11. Sigh all i really want is for bandits and vampires not to ruin immersion by saying stupid bulls*** when I shoot them. It is SO offputting. That is all. I use locational damage - i die if i am hit a couple of times with arrows as it should be. I beat other creatures by simply not getting hit. If a spider hits be 3 times im dead. I won't get hit, i will dodge. The way i see to fix my core problem is to just never give them a chance to break immersion by saying 'what was that sound?' when they get shot. I cannot one-shot powerful enemies like Forsworn Briarhearts or Vampire Masters/Bandit Maras. This means one-shotting them. But I don't want fights where I am not in sneak and just one shot everyone out of sneak. Therefore smithing/enchanting is not the way forward. Another way to fix this would be to silence all human enemies like bandits so they don't say anything, or even better, replace all the sound files like 'what was that?' with cries of pain or something. This one is preferred, but I will take the former option if it isnt possible which I am starting to think it isnt. Often, I get what I want. That is, I see a bandit outlaw and 1 shot him with bow and arrow from sneak, then his allies see me (modded so i cant abuse sneak too much) and its a normal battle. Sometimes, I don't. That is, I shoot a Forsworn Briarheart in the head who says 'I think i heard something!' and charges at me totally oblivious to the fact that he should be dead. Hopefully that clears it up a bit.
