Oh hello, I also went to look up Domino. Was a really great horse and so beautiful. I have gone with Hashire this time (you can customize Hashire) but Domino will be one of my favorites always. I was going to load up Domino actually and give him to my follower. Oh so sad. :( Thank you too, to the mod author.

UPDATE: Well I don't know what happened. I went to my Profile (after messing around with a bunch of things in Vortex but then giving up) and suddenly it works?! I did a ~savegame (name) and was going to exit the game but decided to check the Load screen in game, and there was my save! I don't know what in the world I did but it seems to be working properly now. Next time I make a new character, I will try a save before I get two or three days into my game. Vortex is not working cleanly yet for some reason, but right now I'm very happy with the profile and mod management, and I really love the interface. (plus I'm going to test out Stardew Valley with some mods later!) I guess this ticket is closed. Thank you.

Yeah definitely something is not working correctly with Vortex. I followed these directions (again) from scratch and made an Avenie Two. I added ONLY MY LAST save. Then I Enabled the new profie and when I got in Skyrim, there is no new menu anything. I see all my saves and there should only be one, or if I go to Character Selection (T) I'm expecting to see something new there with the new profile I set up. It all looks the same and the games are not saving properly under profiles. I should not have to exit my game to load a game from a Global list.

Thanks :) BUT! That's not the issue because, the SAME thing happens whether I do ~savegame, or Save the game from the menu, or use Quicksave. ALL my saves are off the main menu, with nothing in my Profile (except those starter saves at level 1). So regardless, it's still not working correctly because I have to leave the game and reload even my quicksaves or autosaves from the main menu, rather than from in game. I have even tested the Avenie[Modded} game and gone in there and made a save and it shows in All Saves (off main) But no saves show up in the Load menu within the game. Any other ideas?

Still having issues with this. Messed with it all morning. I may just have to deal with the fact that whenever I need to reload my game I will exit and load from the main menu, and that my profiles are not working.

Trying to access the knowledgebase but I can't read anything on the left under the menu. I've minimized the menu but I still cannot see the text on the left. (see image). Is there a way to fix this? I have to guess half the words and it just makes the solutions unreadable.

Hello! I've researched this problem but still can't get this resolved. So....help please! :) OK I have Vortex and SKSE. I have already started a game with my character Avenie before I got the hang of Vortex profiles. I was playing and doing ~savegame <whatever> like I love to do to keep my games saved. Usually I can just load from the character and go. But I found out two days into my game that I must go out to my main menu to re-load my game. I know this is a profile problem because I've seen other people with it but their resolutions did not resolve my issue. I have some screenshots. I have a profile Enabled called Avenie, copied from my Default profile. My Default contains all my saves. I had physically copied some files to the Avenie profile directory under Skyrim saves. This is obviously not the correct directory PLUS if I save a ~savegame test in Skyrim the save still doesn't go to my Avenie profile. So that you can see. Here is my Main Vortex loads SKSE menu: Then if I click on All Saves this seems to be my Default Vortex profile (which somehow has all my last year's game which I thought I deleeted) Then you can see if I select Avenie Modded, there is my stuff from the first day, and my autosaves only. But none of my ~savegame games. What can I do to fix this problem, so that I can type ~savegame <gamename> while playing, and see all my games saved into the profile I have Enabled, so that I can load while playing (without exiting to the main menu?) Thank you for any help you can give.

I managing without it but feel hobbled without some of the good mods for SKSE. I mess up a lot using my keys and switching weapons is a bear. I miss my favorite menu, the HUD that autohides the crossbar and looks beautiful because the entire interface is hidden. Also that nice mod that puts the time at the top with a beautiful seasonal graphic...I keep looking for it for the game time and it's not there...

General question for wiser heads than mine
Gankaku replied to lethielnyrond's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Oops I forgot to say something and can't edit my post. I did try Loot today. After messing around putting I. The setting to recognize SE, it made a sordid mess of my load order. It said my .Esps weren't loaded for some mods...I had about four errors and started question myself and my setup. I went to my game and got an immediate crash. I went back in to NMM, resorted my load order by hand (why did it out some of these mods here and not here?) And I went back in and loaded up fine. -

You know, that sounds a little convoluted. I'm probably doing things all wrong, but here's how I did it in Oblivion and Skyrim and what I am doing now. *Oblivion and Skyrim: *Use your mod manager to get the mod *Use your sorting tool to sort it Open Wrye Bash and make sure it all looks good, no errors or conflicts. The Bashed Patch should be checked red if you moved load order or added new mods that messed with that order. Run the Bashed Patch and the box beside it will be no longer be red. *Play your game as normal (via SKSE or normal entry) With SE, and I could be so so wrong, but I don't really see a reason to run through Wrye Bash. NMM is really good now. It lets you set load order and see conflicts. It allows you to make profiles for multiple characters. And I think we can have a ton of mods with no limits (I could be wrong here.) Wrye Bash was the go to solution if anyone wanted one of those things. I don't see why I need to use it now. So, for Skyrim SE I only have two steps: *I load the mod in NMM *I sort the Plugins tab based on my own kind of sorting method that has worked for me, via plugins tab in NMM. Character creation face body stuff first, environmental apps, houses in middle, textured stuff like the Rustic mod items, and at the end important things like game adjusting mods, like stuff that changes how skills are done, or messes with the mechanics of your character. If you play with your own load order, you will start to get a feel for what you want where, and will sometimes know which mods are causing problems due to load order. I always read the directions of mod, where they suggest load order, and what mods not to use theirs with. It used to be much more difficult but I've loaded a ton of mods in the three days I've had my new character. The only problem I have so far is a bit of purple graphics on some small items, and others using the mod are having the same issue. Please tell me if I'm wrong not to use Wrye Bash, but at this point I don't see any benefit of using it, unless you are so familiar and comfortable with it that you prefer it. -
Well wow. I see the distinction now. You know I am going to try the second file tomorrow and see what happens. Usually modders explain in more detail these things. I thank you for that great catch and your good eye. I hope it's true! Thank you.

I started a new game using WICO. I like how my character turned out. However, it really breaks immersion for me when I take off a woman npc clothes and she's naked. And the men are not. It just makes me roll my eyes every time. Is there a way that I can have underwear on my WICO woman character (and all women in game)? I know WICO uses UNP body. If I find an underwear mod for it, will the underwear "stick" when I undress or does it actually like clothing but in a ring slit (i.e. every woman still naked when looted)...? Or would I need to try to figure out how to load the Oldrim body mods in this game so I can use the underwear version? Thanks!

I don't know about the mod (sorry! I wish I could help!) but there are some starter ways to help increase your fps: 1. Outside the game - don't open any browsers. Minimal programs only. Go through your windows services and stop and disable all the unneeded services. Like, on my machine, does Google REALLY need to update itself all the time? And Adobe? These things go out there and "check" for updates extremely frequently and they slow down your machine - and games. Don't allow your virus/malware checkers to run while gaming. They can start up while you're in game and just bring your machine to a halt. 2. In-game: lower your graphics settings. 3. Make sure you have enough RAM. More is better if you only have a bit, but there's a point where more doesn't help. How much do you have in your system? There are other more meticulous things, but these are for starters.

Also a good idea before you load a mod is to read the comments and see what kind of problems people are having. If they are having unacceptable tons of problems, I usually pass on the mod my first or second character around. Later, a problematic mod will be fixed, not fixed and stated that its problems can't be corrected, or you will have done a lot of quests and gotten your enjoyment out of the game so that loading a funky mod won't mess up a good character's progress if the mod flakes out. I found a lot of stuff that I am using by going through what Jeir said, the most endorsed mods on Nexus, and using the Tracking list to track the mods I want to try. Have fun!
