Help converting an NPC appearance mod from Oldrim to SSE.
ThatOneGirl replied to ThatOneGirl's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Wow, I feel so dumb. Thank you so much!! :D -
Hey everybody, I've been converting oldrim mods to sse without issue for a couple weeks now via these tutorials: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/sse#wiki_how_will_mods_work_for_sse_on_pc.3F https://www.loverslab.com/topic/72773-help-with-converting-an-oldrim-follower-to-se/ I haven't really ran into any issues using these methods until trying to convert this mod: http://tesall.ru/files/screenshots/7838-repleyser-vneshnosti-serany-i-klana-volkihar [russian site, recommend using Google translate] The mod is a cosmetic overhaul of Lord Harkon's Court / Clan Volkihar, and for some reason, upon normal conversion the mod CTDs the game whenever loading a cell with the changed NPCs. I've dug around the mod files and found that the only real difference here is that there are some ".tri" files included. However I'm not too familiar with how tri files work. I've previously converted "TM Dawnguard" another similar mod by the same author and it gave me no issues, which is why I was so shocked when TM Volkihar resulted in CTDs. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated, I'm willing to email you the files if needed.

Title pretty much says it all, but I've been having issues with Mods getting loaded in SSE when being activated by Mod Organizer (version erasmux 2.1 (2017-12-26), also for whatever reason SSEEdit doesn't recognize any mods being loaded either. I'm greeted with a completely blank mod list. I was under the impression that this was being caused by the current Windows 10 Insider Preview I currently have running as I heard it causes some problems with MO, but the problem was apparently patched out in earlier versions of the Insider Preview Build. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2017/09/27/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-17004-pc-skip-ahead/#pRq5eXg4sX7h01Ij.97 I am currently running "Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17063" which came out after build 17044 which supposedly fixed the problem, so would I be incorrect to assume my problem is not Windows 10 related? Any help would be much appreciated. edit: So it appears to me that I have accidentally posted this in the Oldrim section, my apologies, this was intended for the Skyrim Special Edition section of the forum. I have no idea how to fix this so can an admin help me out please? Again soooo sorry /_\

Hello, first of all I would like to say that I am extremely new to creating mods, but have been using them for years now. I'm more familiar with TES5edit but not so much the Creation Kit. Spoilers for Companions Quest: Is there any way in the Creation Kit to have an existing NPC's appearance change during a playthrough? I am trying to get it so that Aela's appearance change is triggered after she returns to Jorrvaskr from Gallows Rock. Any help would be much appreciated.

How to change texture paths for a mod in CK? (or TES5Edit)
ThatOneGirl replied to ThatOneGirl's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Doing this will keep both mods original textures right? I don't want either of them to overwrite each other. -
Well the title really says it all, I recently downloaded a mod entitled "Bonemold and Chitin Weapons - Morrowind Armory", by Gendundrup Ashkingwulfharth Adventfather [can be acquired here] the mod adds Bonemold & Chitin Weapons to the Solstheim leveled lists. It's a really great and immersive mod, however it overwrites a couple of weapon textures from hothtrooper44's "Immersive Weapons" mod. Obviously this is a problem, I just want to change the path for where the Bonemold & Chitin Weapons mod looks for it's textures so it doesn't conflict with hothtrooper44's mod. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello everybody, I recently took a look at GrandDukeAdense's "Riften - Thief Edition" mod, and was very impressed with the new district that the mod adds to the outside walls of Riften. The interior was also very well done, but I already have a preferred Riften overhaul installed. I asked the author about possibly making a version of his mod that only added the new district outside the walls, and not everything else. He said he wouldn't do it, but gave me permission to do it myself. As seen here: http://s2.postimg.org/ifdum9srd/Untitled.png Unfortunately, I'm very much a novice when it comes to modding and I only know the very basics, like cleaning mods with TES5edit, and I've never attempted to edit core mod files in fear that I might break the mod. I was wondering if anybody here on the forum would be willing to walk through the process what GrandDukeAdense recommended to me. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've been playing Skyrim now for a good 150 hours (at least that's what Steam is telling me) and I've yet to run into a CTD like this one. (I mean I've run into them before, but they've always been simple mod conflicts that were really easy to fix) Anyways, When I walk into High Hrothgar for the first time, everything is cool I talk to Arengir and everything seems to be okay up until he asks me to hit the appearing targets. I hit all three targets without a hitch and then Arengir attempts to say something, but gets cut-off by a CTD, and it's always on that exact part of the quest. I've cleaned all my master files with TES5edit and I've even cleaned the esps that BOSS detected dirty edits in. BOSS tells me there is nothing wrong, and that everything is on the up and up, but yet I still get the CTD. I re-arranged my load order with LOOT, and I thought that would fix it, but nope. Same CTD. (I've even manually arranged my load order, but nothing...) I just can't get rid of this CTD. I'm almost 100% positive that my load order isn't causing the CTD, so I won't post it here (at least not until someone really tells me they need to take a look at it) But I will post the Papyrus log. I don't really know how to properly read the papyrus log so maybe someone could shed some light. Anyways... any help would be greatly appreciated. (I have all the DLCs, just in case you need that information.) (I attached the papyrus log to the thread, because I can't copy and pasted the log itself due to the sheer size.) Here are the mods I currently have installed. http://i.imgur.com/tgHOpem.png

New Vegas Aiming Glitch?...
ThatOneGirl replied to ThatOneGirl's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Omg, sorry I didn't even realize anybody had replied to me. :'( I don't have any animation replacers installed (yet) If I install one, do you think that'll fix my problem? -
My character seems to be jerking to left all of sudden (in first person) either when I'm crouched, or when I'm in combat :/ When I'm in third person, my character just stands up. It's very annoying and happens literally every other second... Here's an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyjCoJltAjU It makes the game pretty unplayable, and I don't know what to do at this point  Anyone have any suggestions? bug fixes... etc... D:

How to fix broken mods using Wrye Bash?
ThatOneGirl replied to ThatOneGirl's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Okay, so I don't have to worry about the orange boxes to much then? I've also heard that things can get messed up if the load order isn't organized correctly. Can I check to see if I'm suffering from that in Wyre Bash? Just out of curiosity, say my Skyrim crashes one day. Can I use Wyre Bash to look and see what caused the crash? P.S. I'll take a look at the read me, thanks for the info :) -
Hi!, I just download Wrye Bash, because I've heard from many people that it can help out a lot! Wrye Bash is telling me that I can merge two of my mods so that they're compatible? http://oi41.tinypic.com/21b9j7c.jpg How exactly do I "merge" these two mods? Also why do some of my mods have green checkboxes, and some have orange/red ones? I'm assuming that the green ones are "good to go" and the orange/red ones are somehow conflicting? How do I go about fixing that? Here are the orange/red ones http://oi44.tinypic.com/2q2pxyc.jpg Well, any help would be much appreciated.

Actually, she asked for a retexture, not more dragons. Chromatic Dragons might not make them look scarier, depending on your standing in the Draconian Lore, but there's that. Fantasy Dragons looks a little cartoony, but sometimes that's what works. Bellyache's Dragons gives them large eyes, but otherwise seems to fit what you want. The advance search page for dragon textures. Thank you very much!! :D
