  1. 17 here! For now I can still play videogames a lot of time a week :P
  2. I have thought of some... Bjriuk/Biriuk Aevar Sven etc etc But I know that at the time it will probably come up as something entirely different :P
  3. Hello people more knowledgeable than myself! Since the pc specs have now been released, I am here to ask, as the name of the thread suggests if my computer will run skyrim. I plan to do an upgrade by the beginning of November, but am not entirely sure if I will be able to... My question comes in two parts. My current specs are: Graphic card: ATI RADEON HD SAPHIRE 4850 512 Mbs DDR-3 CPU: INTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.33 Ghz E@6550 RAM: Kingston 2Gb com 333 Mhz de clock Yup, my ram is awfully slow, and I think it will be pushing it to expect Skyrim to run here.... Anyway, how do you think my pc would handle the game (if at all)? _________________________ Now for the second part... I plan on putting this in my PC: Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO Intel P67 SK1155 REV3.0 CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K (Unlocked) 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo) 6MB RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 2x4GB 1600MHz CAS9 1.5v Low Voltage The graphic card will stay untouched for now... It will be a bottleneck to the rest, but I figure it isn't the most urgent component to substitute. So, with that configuration, how would Skyrim run? Medium? Thanks in advance guys :D
  4. From my own readings I cannot possibly see how Bethesda would be influenced by The Name of the WInd, or Assassin's Apprentice :-/ The thematics are just so different, and even the background/lore/universe has nothing to do with Skyrim... The same goes for The Warded Man. I could see them being influenced by The Blade Itself (which contains very crude depictions of North-type lands and men), and maybe a Song of Ice and Fire... but still, the only thing in common is fantasy+dragons+snow... That's from the ones I've read, can't say anything about the others ;)
  5. Ok guys, thank you very much! ;) I figured I had to remove the eye meshes manually, so I saw the BP archive for which files it added. Deleted them and now it's working just fine! Many thanks! EDIT: I went to check my game and it seems it screwed up every other game race *facepalm* Well, now that I know what it means, I think I will be able to sort it. I guess Beautiful people replaced the vanilla textures with ones appropriated for the BP meshes, so now I have to delete them as well...
  6. Hello guys I am asking for help here because I have tried a lot of ways to solve this, but haven't managed to fix it. I hope you people will be able to provide me with some sort of help, I would be very grateful. It is probably fairly simple, but with my knowledge I can't really sort it out. So, I have the so much reported Googly Eyes problem. I realize this is probably due to a conflict with cosmetic mods. Regarding body types, I have Roberts Male Body Replacer, and for face models all that I use is Django's Unique Features... The problem that I get is related to this one, probably.. I previously installed Beautiful People but I deactivated it already (before I put Django's I think), but I am not sure if there are any left over files . I tried using the alternate dunmer eyes, so I placed the texture files in the correct texture folder on the Data folder. I am not sure, for I have not played for some time, but if I recall correctly, everything was working just fine untill I installed Elsweyr Anequina mod, perhaps because of the race added by that mod. I am not sure though, it might have been bugged before. Uninstalled it already though. However, I have tried reinstalling Djangos, rebuilding the bash patch, archive invalidation, checking the CS Face Data (which points the mesh for the imperial default eyes). So, am I correct in assuming this is an incompatibility bettween mesh and texture? I get no errors for any other eye type... This would be much easier to fix if Django's mod worked through a .esp, but since he doesn't... can someone explain me what to do please? :) I would be very grateful for any help! Thanks!
  7. Hello guys I'm not sure if this is on the right section, but the matter at hands is, I am looking for a mod that alters Oblivion level scaling. I think I used one some years ago, I used it in complemention of MMM. It was not something big like Fran's or OOO (FCOM), but a smaller mod, that did just that, alter the level scaling. Or maybe nullify it, not sure. So, I am asking for your help here at the nexus, since you problably know a lot of mods. I would be very very grateful if you could direct me to one of these mods. Done some research already, but didn't find anything. I think I may be using the wrong keywords. So, any help would be much appreciated :D Thanks for your time!
  8. That would reaaly be cool :D Bringing the possibility of clothes under armor... and actually a benefit in wearing fur over leather.
  9. Btw, http://www.examiner.com/console-gaming-in-national/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-uses-brand-new-engine Brand new Engine?
  10. What? Martin dies?? (j/k) I agree with you and AlienSlof - watching the trailer gave me a sense that the player is the Dragonborn; I can't imagine how he or she could possibly be another Septim. My second thought is perhaps there's a way for the player to bring Martin back from existence as a statue ... is it too much to hope he's not really dead? Hmm, no, that's stretching it. Most likely it's the player. You know, you were kiding, but that was a real spoiler for me :D Yay... Oblivion is my favorite game, but I have yet to complete it... much to the fault of mods. And regarding the Dragonborn, as it was already stated, obviously he is the player, and the only possibility I see is that we are Martin's son, if you tell me he's dead o_O
