Okay guys, about six months ago I deleted Skyrim from my computer to make room for other games. I've since regretted that and have upgraded my HD and reinstalled Skyrim but I've lost all my many downloaded mods. I'd like to pick up an old save that I had and I'm curious if there's a tool to find out all the mods I had on that save? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Texture issue with Playable Character, does not extend to NPCs
jlw484 replied to jlw484's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Okay, I've finally figured out that the culprit is SKSE. When I start the game with SKSE with no active mods I get the problem but as soon as I use the Skyrim Launcher without SKSE the texture issue goes away. I've tried using earlier versions of SKSE but still no luck and I really need it for some of the mods I use, any ideas what could be happening? -
Texture issue with Playable Character, does not extend to NPCs

Yes, I tried to upload one but I cannot. The screenshot just shows the character with a gray head, since that was the color of the flicker when the image was captured. -
I recently returned to Skyrim to do another playthrough. When I stopped playing Skyrim there were no issues with my game and, before returning, all I did was update all the mods that were out of date. Now when I create a new character the face of my character flickers dark and light continuously. This effect does not extend to NPCs in the game but affects ALL player characters, regardless of race. I tried updating all texture mods that I have installed, in case I lost a needed texture somehow, and nothing has worked so far. Loading the game without SKSE or without any mods whatsoever activated also does not seem to fix the problem. I've updated my ATI video drivers as well as everything else I can think of. I've looked through these forums as best as I could and could not find a fix that's worked for me. At this point I'm looking for any advice that may fix this problem without forcing me to do a clean install. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I've been unable to find this in my search of the Nexus, but I would really like a more detailed skintone for male characters. There are several great skins available for female characters, such as http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32986, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24394 and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31954 but I can't seem to find any for male characters. Favoredsoul or Sundragon meshes would be preferred but, at this point, I'd settle for vanilla. If anyone is interested in making these, or know of where existing ones can be found, I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, none of the glitches listed seem to be like my particular issue. I've already tried all those fixes for similar, yet different, problems and I've had no luck.

1. The shout button is held for the full amount of time, this isn't the issue. 2. Yes, I've spoken with them both on the balcony and they speak but there is no open dialogue. 3. I stay on the balcony but away from the guard so he can swoop down and he still doesn't. 4. Tried the fast travel option but it still hangs up. 5. Same issue as above with the earlier saves. I appreciate the advice but, so far, those fixes haven't worked for me. I've done this quest several times with other characters and haven't had a problem so I'm thinking it may be an issue with a mod or this particular character.

There are similar bugs, but those are apparently caused by the Jarl not being present. I've made sure he's with me on the balcony before attempting to call so I don't think it's the same bug. Plus, that particular bug says that Odahviing flies around but doesn't land, my issue is that he flies past and keeps going until he disappears into the distance. Calling him repeatedly causes the same exact issue over and over again.

I've spoken with the Jarl, both he and his housecarl are on the balcony with me. When I use the shout to call Odahviing he flies overhead and continues east until he's out of sight. Hitting him with arrows, Dragonrend, etc.... does not do anything, he just continues to fly past. I've tried to fast travel then come back and try again, nothing changes it. I'm looking for any advice on how to fix this. Thanks.

I'd previously read about the bloated save issue. None of my saves were anywhere near being too large but I thought my issue may have been related anyway so I backed up my important saves then deleted them all from the computer. Even running a fresh game with zero saves the lag is still just as bad. I've pretty much accepted that I may have to try a fresh install but I'm really hoping to avoid it so I'm holding out for some miracle fix.

I tried the Extended Launcher and it hasn't solved my issues either. It works; game loads and everything just like it should, but the lag and constant stuttering is still present.
-
Don't know how I've missed that with all my searching. I'll give it a try, thanks a lot.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's a driver issue with the latest ATI driver or possibly a conflict with the latest Skyrim patch, but I logged close to 300 hours on the game before this issue started. Sorry to hear you're having it too but at least I'm not the only one so maybe there's a fix somewhere.

I've had Skyrim since it came out and have never had an issue with running it at the highest settings. Lately I've had to back down some of the settings because of extensive, almost game-breaking lag and stuttering. I've tried several "fixes" and the problem persists. Since I'm no computer expert I'd just like to know if my computer should be able to run the game at the highest settings. I do have several mods that I can remove to improve performance but I'd like to know specifically about my computer and if it should be enough. Processor: i7 930 Intel (2.8GHz 8MB cache) Memory: 12GB RAM Video Card: 2 GB ATI Radeon HD5970 Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Latest drivers for hardware and updates for the OS. Thanks in advance for any imput.

I've noticed that all of my two-handed weapons now have LESS damage than their one-handed counterparts. (Daedric Sword now has higher damage than Daedric Greatsword) This issue affects all two handed weapons in my game, even the standalone mod weapons. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the latest patch as it has been a few weeks since I played. Has anyone else ran into this problem and, if so, is there a way to fix it? I've tried disabling all mods, starting a new save, etc...
