So I only recently tried out mounted combat (gasp) and I have to say that at least for me, it's pretty game-changing and amazing. At first I was reluctant to try it, since it seemed clunky and pointless, but after a few minutes of mastering how the controls work it's actually pretty intuitive and adds significant depth to combat as well as some real incentive behind buying horses. So basically, I'd like to know everyone's opinion on how horses add to combat and/or if you have made use of them. Especially with stuff like the Warzones mod (awesome, there's actually a civil war now!), it really feels like you're an important member of the civil war with a horse. Add in the Deadly Combat mod and some real magic happens; you can thrown from your horse, knock enemies over, etc. And as a heavy armor enthusiast, it really helps maintain mobility and all that.
