  1. Hey folks! I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this bug, and if you know what might be causing it. The NCR Trooper that runs up to you just outside of Primm doesn't initiate dialogue with me. I walk into the trigger, he runs towards me, and that's it. He'll eventually stop down the road, but activating him doesn't start the dialogue. I'm using Brave New World, so he has a new voice, and the console tells me that FPGE is the last mod to have edited the npc's record, but disabling those two mods didn't seem to fix the issue. Load order below! Thank you for the help!
  2. Hey folks. I'm working on a patch for FWE that gives you the option to remove the collar from the slave alt start. Ideally, I'd like the player to be able to click on the collar in their inventory and activate a message box with a skill check--like the Megaton bomb. However, the collar's unremovable by default, which means the OnUnequip function doesn't trigger the message box. I'd hoped OnEquip would do the trick, but that doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas/potential workarounds?
  3. Yep--seems like this fixed itself. Thanks for the help nonetheless!
  4. Late response: you can change the music it plays, but only by replacing the tracks and using the same file-name; you can't add new ones to the list. Its scripts call on specific song IDs, rather than pulling randomly from any one folder. I hope this helps!
  5. Awesome! Thank you both for the help!
  6. Hey all! I'm in the process of tweaking Morrowind Comes Alive for my personal use--namely getting rid of most of the non-vanilla assets. When I delete an object in the CE, it asks if I'd like to delete its associated references as well. I say yes. When I load up the game, however, it gives me the 'unable to locate object in leveled item' error--which gives me the impression that the references located within the leveled lists are still intact. Is there any way to automate the deletion of those empty references? Or do I have to do it manually, list by list? Thanks in advance!
  7. Hi all! Quick question. Say I have an ESM in my load order. This ESM adds new objects to the game-world. Is it possible to make an ESP that removes objects placed by the ESM--assuming I need the ESM itself unchanged? If so, how? I ask because I'm making a patch for ELFX that changes a few of its modified cells; I'd like to keep my patch up-to-date without having to rebuild my work from scratch. Thanks for the help!
  8. Hey all-- I mod a number of different games with NMM. But for some reason attempting to mod Skyrim results in an unhandled exception. I recently did a fresh install, and the game launches fine. Here's the relevant part of the log. Any suggestions?
  9. I should also mention that my load times have gotten exceptionally long simultaneous to these issues showing up.
  10. So while the WFO patches made the lod a little less unsightly, it hasn't resolved the problem. :/ Anything else that might be causing it? I've found a workaround (quicksaving, then loading in near the objects) but it'd still be nice to figure out what's causing this. --EDIT-- Looks like disabling the WFO esp solved the problem. Not sure why it suddenly started acting up now--was working fine before. Thanks for the help everyone! :)
  11. Oh! I didn't realize that. I'll start cleaning them out, see if it resolves issues.
  12. Thanks for the tip! I'll try that out. :) As for the number of plugins--a lot of those are disabled. I'm currently hovering around 138 active.
  13. Hey folks, I've been noticing strange behavior with the game's lod lately. Meshes that would normally disappear within a few meters are sticking around--as if their lod tags have been removed. At this point I have no idea what's causing it. Any suggestions? Here's my load order: Any help is appreciated! :)
  14. That seems to have fixed it! Thank you so much for the help. :D (I'm a huge fan of your work, btw! Couldn't do without your interiors. :) )
  15. Hey all! Haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere. When I first hop into the game, everything looks fine--nice textures, meshes, no errors. But as I start to move (especially in the overworld), the game will start reporting meshes and textures missing. First time I saw this, I assumed there was a mod conflict, or I improperly uninstalled something. Eventually I realized a simple reboot fixed it for that area--but as I start to move, more exclamation points appear on the horizon. Reboot again, those are gone, with others in their place. Anyone know what's going on/a way to fix this? I've installed the NVSE-compatible 4gb launcher, the stutter-remover, and archive invalidation. None of them seem to be resolving the issue. Any help is much appreciated!
