  1. Thank you so much for your help. I've fiddled with this now and it's solved my problem; I'm also able to go disable other things I don't like. OR was pitched to me as basically just the OBGE portion, and I saw zero information on other changes.
  2. EDIT: SOLVED I've recently reinstalled Oblivion and re-modded it. For some reason, my character anims are all off, even though I didn't install any animation mods, to my knowledge. You can't see your weapon on screen when your weapon is unsheathed, and when you attack, you leap all over the place just by swinging your sword. Don't get me started on how awful bows are. It's all a complete nightmare in FP and I can't even play it. In any case, here's my mod list. Can anyone tell me which of these has this horrible feature? It shouldn't be in the character overhaul, but that's the only thing I can think of that might even contain this. Most of these mods I'd installed previously and I never encountered this bizarre issue. I'm trying to detective my way around the mods, but I thought I'd ask and see if anybody knows of this happening.

  4. I've downloaded a preset I'd like to add to the RaceMenu presets, but I can't find where to put the .slot file. Anybody?

  6. I should also ask while I'm at it: how do you ensure custom body proportions carry over to the NPC from the RaceMenu creation?
  7. So I've managed to make a custom follower. Worked great once I learned the actual tricks. But I'm still limited to the hair colors available for NPCs in the game. I had made the NPC with RaceMenu, and I used that as one of the files to load when I created the esp. How do I get a custom hair color on the NPC?
  8. OKay, actually, I finally figured it out. I made him. Awesome! It's working!

  11. I still can't manage to make his face match his body. That's the guide I used initially.
  12. Er, well, since it's actually a dangerous stimulant (not sugar), it's more akin to refined cocaine.
  13. Yeah, I did all that. I have him in the current follower faction with a value of -1 and I exported his face to NPC file, which is the file I provided.
  14. Alternately, if anybody in the meantime would like to give it a shot, I'd love it. Or, if you would help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, that'd be even better. So far I've gotten it to work except for two things: 1) There's no option for him to follow me, and 2) His head is a different color from his body. >.o

And I updated my list of things I actually want, above. You know, because I haven't made an NPC, I keep forgetting what all fields need to be filled in. You're the best for even wanting to try.   18. So no matter what I do, and no matter how many instructions I follow, I can't seem to make my follower work with Apachii hair and HD brows. The NPC file is here. He requires Apachii hair and Brows. He is a Nord. I would like him to be a 1H Melee with Lightfoot, in officer Legion armor with no helmet, essential, unique, doesn't affect stealth meter. I'd really like him set to Ally. Haughty male elf voice. Marriageable (though I know the voice isn't complete for that). Level with player, 1-100. Aggressive, Neutral, Foolhardy, Any Crime. If anyone is kind enough to make this mod for me, I'd very much appreciate it. If you DO want to do it, and I haven't provided enough, please let me know.
  19. I'd love a mod to let me actually give things to Alesan. Just something to fix his bug where all gifts for him are "too heavy."
  20. No, I guess, it's not related to CoT. Been fiddling around. If anybody has any insight as to what might be causing this, please let me know.
  21. I really don't know what to do with this one. I have Skyrim updated, and all the unofficial patches applied. I think it might be related to Climates of Tamriel, since that seems to affect it when I alter it. Is anyone else having this problem?
  22. I'd love to see miniature versions of dragons to follow you and fight alongside you. Pretty small, really--they'd probably be in flight next to you or around you most of the time. I have no idea how hard this is to do.
  23. I don't have any modding ability whatsoever. So, here I am! I'd absolutely love a mod that takes the racial powers and makes them effective, constant, or unlimited use. Altmer: Highborn constant extra regeneration of magicka Argonian: Histskin constant extra regeneration of health Bosmer: Animals your level or lower will not attack, plus ability to make one animal your ally unlimited times per day Breton: constant absorption of 50% of magic attacks Dunmer: "Ancestor's Wrath" is unlimited usage Imperial: People your level or lower will not attack first (excludes vampires, dungeons, plot, etc), plus: calm unlimited use Khajiit: Night-eye toggle or adaptive night-eye Nord: Battle cry unlimited use Orsimer: Always take half damage and deal double damage Redguard: constant regeneration of stamina Broken? Yeah, maybe. But that depends on the numbers, in the end. I'd just like to see the racial powers ACTUALLY MATTER in gameplay. As it is, you can choose any race and have a fine time of any fighting style. Why not make the races actually matter?
  24. For a while now I've been trying to update VRD, but I haven't received any help from the mod author or any of the subscribers, unfortunately. Every time I try to update to ANY version above 4.3, I get the error message, "Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. The mod was not activated." Any tips?
