  1. Playing in VR, the stars in the distance (while in space) feel much too big in my opinion. I'd like them to be more point-like. IIRC, the stars are rendered based on the real stars around the system in which you are currently located. This leads me to believe that they are probably rendered using a shader instead of some pre-baked asset. I poked around in some of the unpacked files, but didn't see anything interesting related to assets or configs, but did notice a starfield (or something like that) shader. I was exploring some tools made for decompiling the shaders, but thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone had some pointers or happened to know what affected the size of the rendered stars. Thanks!
  2. Thank you all. I managed to figure it out. I was doing things manually at first and finally discovered the NMS Modding Station app which is hugely helpful.
  3. There are a couple mods that don't exist that I'd like to investigate. Is there a guide out there somewhere or some general tips on how to get started modding? Thanks
