  1. Hey guys, anyone could show me how to link workbenches (eg armor, weapons, power armor) to have them use the same pool of resources? Like if i were to store a item in one bench it would be available to use from the other, vice versa?
  2. Hi all, really wanted a alternative life/start mod for fallout 4 where I can just put aside the main quest and roleplay as a raider/cultist/synth etc, much like those mods that Skyrim had back in the day. Those mods really extend the life of the game, at least for me, as each playthrough becomes really unique. Seeing the alternative start mod on the mod page this week and reading the comments made me wonder whether such a mod could be achieved for fallout 4 due to the story's design. With too many quests related to the main storyline, esp. the major factions. In Skyrim, you can join any of the factions and complete their playthrough without affecting the main story at all, making it possible to disable the main story or dragon function altogether without removing roleplay possibilities. I suppose I will get the "just ignore the main quest and roleplay your character" advise, which i suppose would be the only option now, but that kills any roleplaying (eg raider) as many dialoge options will address the fact that you are from a vault, spouse, son missing. Just like to see what you guys think.
  3. Hmm no, mine does happen to be an exterior cell i.e a world space with the parent world space being DLC01SoulCairn. I also assigned a custom Climate which i created with a custom Weather paired with it. Most of the color adjustments are done in the custom Weather's settings window but I just can't seem to find the correct one with adjusts the area I am trying to recolor. (www.creationkit.com/Weather)
  4. Hi, im working on a map and im trying to adjust the color of the sky which is based off the sky of Soul Cairn in the Dawnguard dlc. I could edit most of the areas of the sky but there was this area that I can't seem to find the correct attribute(?) to edit. Would be great if someone knows which element controls the color of the area I've marked out in the image below. http://s29.postimg.org/mb6r29103/skyhelp.jpg The area of interest which I am trying to change the color of is marked "?". My guess initially was to edit the Horizon attribute but that didn't change anything :/
  5. Wondering if it there was any way I could assign an Outfit to an NPC, but making the Armor that he wears not lootable by the player.
  6. He might be referring to "Become High King of Skyrim". Give it a search on the nexus, I've personally never tried the mod but I think that might be what he was referring to.
  7. As topic title, I have a completely new world space and I need navmesh for it. Because the map is somewhat huge, I was wondering if it were possible to auto generate navmesh like a would a dungeon and clean up the edges but it seem impossible. Most videos I come across are for interior dungeons/player houses and the ones that touched on exterior worldspaces only explained how the cells are bridged/connected. If auto generation weren't possible what would a easy method be to start navmeshing? Do i really have to navmesh cell by cell and connect them till the map is complete?
  8. Edit: Alright, managed to figure things out. Seems I need to drag and drop the new head into the window. Hmm, how do i set the hairstyles the race can have? Currently I only have one.
  9. Hi, I am currently trying out creating a custom race. What i have in mind is just a basic clone of the orc race but with recolored skin tones. I need help figuring out how to change the color of the head. I managed to change the skin tone easily but the head doesn't change its color. http://s4.postimg.org/otxomzhcp/orccolor.jpg I am new to modding would be very helpful with someone could guide me through the steps to change the head color or maybe provide some links that are easy to follow. I do know I could try googling but I am not sure what to google for as searching on guides to create custom race didn't show results where they changed the color of the race. Other times I am overwhelmed by information that I do not even know if it is revelant/applicable to my case. (I'm guessing I need to make custom textures and create a head object? I have no idea if im right or it is the correct approach)
  10. Could someone make a recolor for the undead healing spells that came with Dawnguard? Like turn the color of the magic to maybe purple or green? I find it disturbing that a dark spell that heals undead is actually bright radiant yellow just like a typical restoration spell?
  11. Wondering if someone could make a armor + weapon set based on the FFXII Judge Magister, Gabranth, complete with weapons and a standalone cape http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-07/art/dff-judge-gabranth-render.jpg
