Thank you, ill check it out!

Hello fellow modders.
I've been trying to come up with a way to stop the player from getting XP from companion kills, but i cant figure it out.
If anyone out there is better at mods, i would please ask you to try your hands onto making a mod that do this.
I feel its a little cheaty when you get kills from companions, thats all.
Or maybe, a mod that just reduces the ammount of xp from companion kills, like down to 10% or something around that.
(Oh! also, Please, if this already exists, point me on the right direction, my dumb-self couldnt find one)
Thank you. -
Hello,
Fast Travel has always bugged me (and many others) as the least immersive gameplay mechanic.
But the game itself its built around the possibility of fast travel.
So instead of disabling it, or making alternative ways for it, i was thinking that maybe it would be best to make a mod that restrict fast travel depending on certain conditions.
The idea is as follows:
-To fast travel you need to have at least one food and one water and 100 caps on your inventory.
-The cheapest of them (say dirty water and mole rat meat) are consumed first, along with the 100 caps.
-The 100 caps expenses symbolizes the use of ammo and other items while fast traveling.
-While fast traveling, there is a chance of 5% that a random encounter will happend (4 Raiders, or 2 Super Mutants, or 1 Mirelurk, Maybe even Talon Company, or Enclave for high level players)
-If you are injured, the chances increases to 10%. (Because you are an easier prey while injured)
-If the player has the perk that allows Fast Travel while overencumbered, chances increases to 10%, accumulable with the 10% from injuries.
-The random encounters happen along the road, maybe half way from point A to point B.
If this already exists, please let me know
If this already exists, but its two or more mods, let me know aswell.
Thanks -
The idea is a very simple death alternative mod for heavily modded setups.
"Death alternative" is awesome!!! but its heavy (not much, but enough to decompensate a heavily modded setup)
I've been trying to find a mod that does the following simple tasks:
1- You lose a battle.
2- Your enemies take you for dead, and tossed you away.
3- You wake up nearby, with very little health, a percentage of gold stolen, some items stolen. (recoverable maybe via a fencer, or taking it back from the thief that took it)
4- Some debuff (wounds maybe) and maybe also some skill lose.
Nothing more, nothing less.
"Ashes" sort of do this, except the most important part: The wake up near by.
That part makes the whole concept, it turns the experience into a survivalistic adventure.
DAYMOYL does this, but adds hundred of more things.
This would be an awesome alternative to "death alternative"
Players with heavily modded Skyrim would thank you. -
Not religious, but i would play the shiet outta a Christian Cruzaders overhaul.
But why stop there?
Maybe a full blown whole Christian overhaul, set in the times of Jesus:
It would be very hard to make, since one would have to remake the entirity of the skills tree, create a whole new land, new factions, rename some enchantments, erase a bounch of unholy spells, and also the only one with magic back then was Jesus, you, the player, would have to use only sword and bow.
But maybe you could get some blessings (stat boosts) by talking to Jesus once per day, you would find him randomly preaching here and there, with a group of people around him, once he is done talking, you can go get a blessing of your choosing, the boosts can lasts up to 5 real life hours, so you can collect a bounch of them.
You could buy holy items (enchanted items) by talking to the apostles, which might be all around Jesus, or scattered bringing the good news around the other cities.
Maybe Jesus would give you a one time holy spell too, to conjure a holy warrior to help you fight alongside you for a time before returning to the heavens.
There should also be a system of holyness, the more good deeds you do, the holier you become, and that would allow you to recieve better blessings and holy spells from Jesus and buy better and cheaper holy items from apostles.
Enemies? good question.
I dont know, the Romans maybe, you would have to be a rebel.
We would have to take some artistic liberties regarding the enemies in the world
Maybe demons (dragons with horns on them, idk :P ) that terrorize the lands, or other weird possesed animals prowling the lands.
You, as a warrior of god, would have to fight them, or exorcise them, your choosing, with your holy sword, or "scrolls" that exorcise them (turning them pacific in game engine)
The Jarls (we would have to rename them) would give you direction to were there is trouble, "Cana is under siege by some possesed rats" or something, and you'll have to go free the rats, or kill them, your choosing.
I can go on and on with ideas, but i assure you that i have no idea how to make any of this.
I would just play it, because it sounds fun af.
If only i knew how to create mods, i would do this one. -
Awesome! Thank you very much!
Edit: The firts one is basically "Athletic training", it runs a script loop too.
The second one is more closely to what i was looking for.
Thanks again :)
-
A mod that would allow for sligthly faster running and slightly higher jumping every time you level up. (also sligthly decreases fall damage, since now you jump higher)
I know there is "Athletic training", but that doesnt do exactly this, it has another system based on training by jumping and sprinting, which is awesome, but it runs a script loop, that with heavily modded games, doesnt work so well.
Also there are hundreds of mods that make one jump high and sprint fast, BUT those arent based on your level, and that would be immersion breaking.
I've been looking for something like this, but i haven't got any luck, so maybe it doesn't exists yet.
This would be an excellent alternative for many of players.
Thanks. :) -
Now, it also CTDs on Hunterborn's Scrimshaw.
Well, i guess i'll check google for help i think. -
Tittle sums it up pretty neatly :P
"Crafting with the Campfire system causes my game to CTD"

Hello modders:
There is an amazingly useful mod that let you brawl with any NPC, anywhere, anytime, called "JanusForbeares Fighting Words" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23043)
Its amazing and i cannot play without it.
BUT, it lacks a little something, a little flavor.
It would be very cool if one could also have an option to brawl, while betting a few septims.
The bet could be tied to the ammount of septims the NPC has, or maybe a set ammount of 100, like the bet one makes with Uthgerd the Unbroken.
The scripted event exist in the game already, so, maybe it would be easy to implement it? (idk, i would love to know how to mod)
Doesnt matter if the dialogue its silent, as long as it works just like a regular vanilla brawl, but with anyone. (Or maybe only with those that have a 0, -1 or -2 relationship with the player)
If something like this exist, please let me know! :)
Thanks! -
Dear Modder, if you please, picture this:
You go around, killing enemies, and an arrow hits you right in the temple, you fall sideways, and everything turns black.
You have fallen in battle, so the gods decree that you should meet them in Sovngarde, to feast, dance and be merry for all eternity!
Alas, your mission on Ninr isnt done, so you must go back, so you take the portal, and since your enemies have dispose of your body tossing it out, you will respawn near from where you last fell.
To your dismay, they have taken almost everything you carried, and its time to get it back... and also for revenge.
"DA" has many of fun things to do if you are defeated, but only if you aren't killed.
So there is a need for a mod that modifies true death on DA.
Maybe you wont get to go to Sovngarde everytime, maybe some times you end up on Atherious, Soul Cairn or The Hist if you are Argonian, or even maybe other planes of Oblivion, like realms of some of the daedric princes, from which to escape.
If im not mistaken, every race has their own version of "afterlife", so having every race go to their respective version of "heavens" would add variety and some lorefriendliness to the mod.
I was going to do it, but then i remember that i have no idea how to do anything.
Thanks  -
I found a workaround that didnt required any nip or edit.
The mod "Smarter tavern AI" makes it so the innkepeer doesnt repeat itself, and somehow, that made it so they dont give me a free bed.
Consider me happy :D -
I love "Become a Bard", but i dislike it that the innkeeper just gives me a free bed.
I have the mod open on TES5EDIT right now, and im trying to figure out what is the thing that need to be removed in order to not gain a free bed, just for playing the lute, but im very neophyte on the subject, so i would like to ask more experienced modders if anyone knows what should i erase or modify so i dont get a free bed.
I DLed a mod that makes Inns more expensive, and just having a free bed handed to me defeats the porpouse of it.
Thank you. -
What about a roleplaying mod that makes the PC just another person.
You can live the life of a peasant, a beggar, an adventurer, or even a thief or a bandit.
Yeah, you can already do that, BUT, you still are the Dragonborn, you are the most important person alive in Tamriel right now!
This mod would make it so you arent, even if you kill a dragon you dont absorb the soul, and if you go near a wall of shouts, you dont recieve its wisdom.
And every once in a while, a "notice board" will update, or maybe a courrier would run to you with news, of this other guy everyone calls Dovahkiin, that joined the fight againts the dragons, and after a while another news, that the same guy has killed Alduin bane of kings. (Main quests would be automaticaly won)
Then, another news, the people of Solstheim are now free again!
You could still join the Civil War, and the faction you choose, thats the faction the DB joins, and you can see him using shouts, and running, and slashing his enemies, just like Ulfric as described in the book The Bear of Markarth, but you would be a regular soldier.
You could also still do every side quest, join the thieves guild, the dark brotherhood and stuff, but the main quests will be automated.
If this could be done, it would be amazing to couple it with Live Another Life, or Skyrim Unbound, or any other roleplaying mods out there.
Thanks for reading. :) -
Hello!
I've been using Sneak Tools for a while, and its awesome, but one thing always bugged me:
You can't pick up NPC that you have knocked out.
They just lay there for 10 minutes, alerting everyone, making it very awkward.
If one could just move them...
Perhaps it could be done by clicking the NPC with an special item, like a sack.
Only one at a time to not stress the scripts.
Since knock out lasts 10 minutes, if you still have it in your inventary, perhaps the NPC wakes up, gets free out of the bag, and attacks you (or runs).
You could maybe move the NPC into a secret location, and while knocked out, bind them, once binded, and wakes up, it cant move and stays in place, and cant attack nor run. Maybe it can move its head, and talk.
This also by maybe using an item, maybe one that looks like leather strips, but better.
This would work well with enslaving mods, or Vampire mods, or for a tyran's and a psycho playthroughs.
Also it may work with them s*xy mods
(Another thing: knocked out npc are invincible in this mod, which is just plain silly)
Just an idea, i know little and less about modding, thats why im asking it in here, if one of you with the knowhow could make it happend.
Thank you! -
Many players never choose a side on the Civil war.
You read them say things like "Im on the Dragonborn side"... yet, there is no mod that makes that possible.
There is "Become High King" and "Civil War Neutrality" which are awesome, but they do not tackle the real need of the players.
My request is about ADDING a third faction, your faction, "the Dragonborn faction" the "Dragonsons" to the Civil War.
Making the war go like this:
-The Stormcloaks vs The Imperials vs The "Dragonsons"
At the end, when you win, you could go to war againts the Thalmor, that would be a nice addition.
You could name your own Jarls. (put that begger as a Jarl, or maybe Balgruff never leave his seat)
Not too heavy, just whats necesary.
If i knew how to do it, i would, but i don't know how to mod.
Lucky for us there is smart people in this community that can make this a reality.
Thank you for reading. -
WOULD ANYONE BE SO KIND TO POINT OUT A MOD, IF SOMETHING LIKE THIS ALREADY EXISTS?
Thank you very much. -
Hello!
So here is a problem:
You are crouched inside a house, the owner is fast sleep, and you are as silent as a cat, you start taking his belongings, and leave, without a trace.
You are fastest and quietest burglar in the whole region, but still, there is not a reward for it other than the items you stole.
A super modder could change all of this by doing a simple modification:
Every time you take an item marked as "Stolen", there is xp that goes directly into "Pickpocket".
It could be 1/4 xp as much as if would be if you do the pickpocket, because taking things liying around its way easier than actually picking somone's pocket.
There also needs to be a way to avoid an exploit where you could "drop" a marked item and then pick it up, for more xp.
And it should be accomplished without touching the skill tree, to make it compatible with the biggest overhauls.
(I know this might sound easy for some of you, that are experts, and even non-experts modder could say that this sounds rather easy)
(The reason why im asking its because i suck at modding, and every step its hard for me)
Big love to you all! -
I play as a poisoner almost always, but as soon as i get to make "Paralysis poison", the game turns too damn easy, because every enemy just stands still, and i hack them out.
I've tried making the game as harder as i can, as hardcore as possible, every mod to make life in Skyrim miserable, to try a real challenge... but it always comes back to "Paralysis poison" and its easy again.
If enemies, such as bandits and such, had a chance to resist poison at random, it might become more challenging to try to paralize them.
The Mod can come in 3 forms:
1- Lite: enemies resist paralysis and poisons by 10% of the time.
2- Med: enemies resist paralysis and poisons up to 40% of the time.
3- Hardcore: emeies resist paralysis and poisons up to 80% of the time.
Also, with the option to make wildlife resist it too.
Maybe im asking too much. :P
Cheers! :D -
Isn't Unleveled Enemies doing this? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75643
Thanks!
Ill try it out.
-
It would seems like an amazing idea to have a trully hardcore experience in Skyrim (LE and SE) by not taking away the super easy scaling of the rest of the world.
To make it fair, the level should cap below -5 your level, but it can reach up to +300 your level.
Why capping below? so you dont find a petty level 1 bandit that you can kill by the breeze you do while sprinting by his side.
-"Imagine going for a stroll, a level 10 nord, and a random event pops up, an assassin, and its a level 257, so you run, but then, as you run, a Tiger, level 89 pounce at you, so you turn back and run, but then you heard "never should had come here!" and 3 bandits level 150 start chasing you... but, there is a patrol of Stormcloaks, which are neutral towards you, but hate bandits, and they are level 100, 120, 90 and 110, so you are safe now... but for how long?"-
Leveling, and placing the right perks would become more important now, since the world doesnt care if you are 10, 50, or 150.
Mods that add new NPC (soldiers, animals, guards, bandits, or merchants) should also be affected by this new mod.
Could be offered separated:
-Unleveled Enemies. (Bandits, Draugr, vampires, etc)
-Unleveled Guards.
-Unleveled Soldiers.
-Unleveled Animals and Creatures.
-Unleveled townfolks, merchants and travelers.
And for the trully hardcore players, all together:
-Super pack, everyone is unleveled. (all 5 in 1)
IT WOULD BE SUPER AWESOME!!!
You guys are the beeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssstttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D -
Ok, i figured out whats causing it:
First, it can happend on any Hold, thats important to know.
-For this weird thing to happend you must have both, Ordinator and Civil War Overhaul.
-When you max Illusion with Ordinator, you get a perk that allows you to summon a "Blind Guardian", by clicking on any NPC figthing.
-When the "Spy" event triggers, you must use this perk on the "Spy", and have him get a "Blind Guardian".
-The guards around will start hitting the blind guardian made from the spy, and also the spy, but once they are done, they attack the rest of the guards, since the "Blind guardian" is nothing but another regular guard, and now they sense every other guard as an enemy.
The fact that this continues after leaving and coming back to the area, still is a mystery why.
But knowing why happends is half the battle.
Also, im trying to come up with ideas to stop it.
I'll post here if i come up with anything.
Im going to leave some "tags" here, so people having this same issue can google it and maybe help:
Bug, Glitch, Problem, Guards are killing eachother, Riften, Solitud, Markarth, Whiterun, Windhelm, Guards riot, Guards killing everybody. -
I just started a new game, with all these mods installed, and went to Riften.
No problem at all.
Why!!!!??????
The Riften guard riots bug is getting out of hands. -
Disabling CWO, uninstalling it and even cleaning the Save file didn't work.
