I think a month long win is quite long enough. And hello again, you few lingering souls. :)

i win

Hmm, haven't been in here in a while. Hello folks! I win.
-
Well no reason not to enter. Good luck folks! :P

Hey guys, happy belated New Year. At this point I shouldn't be, but I'm always surprised when I come back here and see this is all still going.
-
I was worried I'd scared everyone off.

Surprise, I win!

I've been playing Guild Wars 2 recently again, and today discovered something a bit upsetting (more just surprising I guess). My brother managed to recover his account, when he logged on I invited him to my guild his reply was, "Why, when the Nexus is clearly the superior guild?" Anyway, the issue is that for like three or four years I thought that the Nexus guild had been disbanded, but it turns out that Iv000 and I were kicked at some point for some reason. I even remember us talking about, because we thought no one else was active and it was sad because we had worked so hard to earn all that influence. Kinda wish I knew why, but I guess it was years ago so it doesn't really matter. edit: Guild isn't still active or anything anymore either, everyone else hasn't been on in three years according to my brother.

Just can't stay away.

Heya everyone, I win.

Wow, well you guys have certainly been busy in here. Just stopping by and saying hello temporarily winning, since it's been a few months since I bailed out.

Gah, it's Windows 10. I'm an idiot. I'm on one of the Insider builds and apparently others are having this issue. Which is concerning, because now I wonder what else this will screw up. I didn't think anything of it because I've been on Insider for a while with no issues. I had some problems on the stable branch and a friend suggested trying it out. While this is kind of disappointing, I had more issues on the current version of Windows 10 so I guess I just won't be messing with Skyrim for a while. Thanks metaforce for trying to help me out. :P http://forum.step-project.com/topic/12353-just-posted-this-on-windows-10-insider-feedback-hub-please-go-upvote/

Nothing serious, just warning that there are files in overwrite (SKSE plugin log if I remember correctly) and two potential mod order problems (which as far as I'm aware, are not actually problems). Deactivating/reactivating all mods unfortunately did not help. Thank you though, I had not thought to try that and it was such a simple suggestion, I'm honestly wondering if I'm missing something really obvious. :wallbash: I really can't stay awake any longer (2:30 AM here, whoops) so I apologize to anyone who posts potential solutions for any delayed response from me.

Short version: When I launch SKSE through Mod Organizer, no mods are actually loaded. This started suddenly. I actually just played Skyrim yesterday (maybe the day before). Nothing has changed as far as I'm aware, except for a Windows update, which quite honestly might somehow, unsurprisingly, be the cause. Some things that I have already tried/always do: 1. MO and Steam/Skyrim are not installed in Program Files. They are just in C:\Games. 2. MO, SKSE, and Skyrim have been run both with and without administrator permissions. 3. MO's mod directory is pointing to the correct folder. MO's game path is pointing to the correct folder. 4. Restarted Steam, MO, and my computer. 5. Checked folder attributes for C:\Games. 6. Slapped a mod into the normal Skyrim\Data as a test, it worked. Something that's bothering me is that the mods load into TES5Edit, LOOT and WryeBash fine. MO log since I can't make any sense of it/I don't know what I'm looking for and it could potentially hold the key to this grand mystery. Though I did try setting log level to error to see if MO was picking up on anything specific, and that log was empty, so I don't really know if the full log will be that helpful. https://pastebin.com/Axxfs2RE Edit: The only thing that stuck out to me was towards the end: "Windows Exception (c0000005)" I'm going to try a couple of things in regards to that (specifically removing Realtek). Edit: Didn't fix anything, didn't really expect it to, but sometimes the oddest things cause issues. I'm really stumped here so I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

I don't know why I'm here. Not like, "What's my purpose?" or any sort of philosophical deepness. I just actually don't know why I'm posting here anymore. I don't post here very often anymore anyway, and we don't really have conversations like way back. It's not really anyone's fault, just that everyone has kind of abandoned this thread. I did it too. And the people I really talked to don't come around here at all anymore (I miss Iv000 and brokenergy and billyro and actually a lot of people I guess). Sorry Pagafyr, and TOTALLY 100% DEFINITELY NOT THOR, it's just not the same. I'm cutting myself off, no more The Last Poster Wins, at least for a while. It will be hard not coming here, so I guess we will see how long I can last. Bye.

I seriously feel so stupid right now. I went to buy a damn Steam card and somehow ended up buying a f***ing PlayStation Store card. And of course you can't return them so I guess I'm getting a PS4 game. :wallbash: <- Doesn't begin to describe how I feel. Edit: The worst part is I READ the card. I LOOKED AT IT. And I was still stupid enough to buy it. What the hell me?!
-
So, since I like you guys so much I'm going to dump a bunch of (mostly crappy) Steam keys here. Help yourselves!
-
Well I'm jealous! I haven't even bought it yet actually...
-
My win. Also, hello everyone I am still mostly alive.
-
Well, the weather here last night was just FANTASTIC.

The mellow face returns!

So, I found out that something was causing my HDD to run slowly. I noticed it last night, I was trying to play Overwatch, and I was being removed from (custom, thankfully) matches because I was idle for too long. Thing is, the maps hadn't loaded, and when they did character models were missing. Checking task manager said disk was under 100% use. I searched for some fixes online, and apparently Windows 8 and 10 have issues like this. Nothing I found worked. I did fix it however, by using task manager to kill Cortana's process out of spite. Of course she starts back up after a couple of seconds, but for whatever stupid reasons, my hard drive started working normally. I have yet to restart and see if Cortana was actually the issue though.
