  1. If anyone finds out that certain old mods should be loaded as something other than default, we should probably have a repository for that information.

    I myself am not completely sure, but I think DLC sized mods like the following should be coded as Addons and Expansions (like Bruma):

    • Carved Brink (EN) - Haem Projects Goblands.esp
    • Moonpath to Elsweyr - moonpath.esp
    • Falskaar
    • The Shire SE
    • Beyond Reach
    • Folkstead and the Border of Hammerfell
    • Haafstead and the Border of High Rock
    • Nyhus

    You can correct me if I am wrong

  2. As I was playing through Skyrim, I ventured into the Soul Carin. There I met Jib. Apparently after he was released from the boat, he spent his life hunting cliff racers, and eventually killed every last one.

    Perhaps someone should make a Mod for Morrowind that has him traveling around killing cliff racers and ONLY cliff racers (fleeing from everything else).

    Of course he has to be essential for the timeline.

    Perhaps he could be equipped with gear suitable for the Cliff Racer Slayer.

    Constant Effects: Levitation, Feather Fall, Water Walking, Restore Fatigue, Restore Health, Resist Blight Disease, Resist Common Disease, Detect Animal, Night Eye

    Imagine seeing him run across the sky, shooting down cliff racers.

  3. * I would like to request a mod that removes the gradual decrease in relationships.

    - As there are 30+ NPCs, it is becoming a chore to keep that value constantly at the maximum of 10-hearts, as it slowly decays over time.

    Sincerely,

    TSF.

    There is one on the other modding site.

  4. I would love someone to create the following mods. I am speaking on the behalf of one of my friends for some of these.

    1. Guys to Girls: Turn all Guys into Girls, including sprites and portraits.
    2. Girls to Guys: Turn all Girls into Guys, including sprites and portraits.
    3. Turn Old Ugly Women into Younger and Hotter Women.
    4. Turn Old Ugly Men into Younger and Hotter Men.
    5. Topless Guys. Remove shirts from all of the 'hot guys'.
    6. Topless Girls to Guys.
    7. Adult Modding: Topless Guys to Girls
    8. Adult Modding: Nude Guys to Girls
    9. Adult Modding: Nude Girls (Everyone but Evelyn)

    And so on. If I was decent as sprite work, I would do it.

  5. Essentially the mod would be this:

    Take a chicken.

    Give it Paralysis abilities. Such as Paralyze spell, Serpent Stone major power, and a on hit paralyze attack.

    Buff its stats.

    Change its Aggression level so it doesn't run away from foes.

    Either put it into the wild as a leveled enemy, or, for fun, replace every chicken in game with a Cockatrice.

    If the towns had tamed Cockatrices, well, it could be entertaining when a town is attacked.

  6. Legend of Zelda infusing with Skyrim.

    Cucoos

    Princess Zelda

    Ganon

    Keese

    Tekites

    Boomerangs

    Master Sword

    Spin Attack

    Bombs

    Donongos Disliking Smoke

    Old man who gives you your sword, who also fireballs you to death if you attack him. Put him behind that one cave in before the spiders.

    All within the context of Skyrim's world.

  7. After looking at my idea for a Cucoo mod and just hot on a roll of zelda ideas:

    Cucoos

    http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/576077-cucco-mod/

    Since we have 'bombs' with this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9463

    why not add dodongos? Essentially use a perma-grounded dragon for its code. Such speed is close enough to a Dodongo's speed.

    Likewise, the new Pyrup could use the same code and include the flame breath.

    Spider reskin to Tektites and Skulltula

    Ice Wraith AI being used to make:

    Flying Normal/Flaming/Ice/Thunder Keese

    Flying Normal/Flaming/Ice/Thunder Skulls

    These creatures would have the appropriate aura and a matching melee attack, but no spells. The Ice Wraith flight pattern is close enough to a bats for it to work.

    Lizalfos leveled enemy...essentially just an argoninian swordsman.

    Skeletons being renamed to Stalfos

    Draugar being renamed to Redead.

    Also, a unarmed Draugar with just a Paralyze spell being called a ReDead.

    Dwemer Centurions being renamed to Armos

    Ogre Reskin to Moblin

    Link Armor

    Zelda Knight Armor

    Any other ideas that ANYONE can think of? Just list them off, have fun, go crazy!

  8. I request this mod for fun times.

    What this mod would involve:

    Name all chickens Cucco

    Give Cucco more (scaleable?) HP/defense

    Give all Cucco this daily power: Summon Cuckoo Swarm!

    Cause Cucco to to use this power after a few hits.

    Remove certain Cucoos from factions that make them 'protected' by towns.

    Summon Cucco Swarm effect:

    Summons a massive number of temporary weaker aggressive Cuccos (without Summon Cucoo) that fly around (like ice wraiths), attacking whoever angered them.

  9.

    This would be a good idea except you do realise that your save games will reach their limet far quicker with this in a mod, meaning that youll get much less game time before your game memory is full and keeps crashing the game.

    As it stands without a mod it lasts about 400hours on my rig (since the 4G patch thingy its more than that) but with this it will probably drastically reduce the time you can play a character so after (estimate) maybe 200 game hours players will get contant crashes because their is too much 'persistant' corpses in the world.

    Just saying

    That is why only corpses you place the stones on will persist. Also, preservation stones would not be found naturally on corpses.

    So, in short, only the corpses you stick a stone on or force into that faction will refuse to be deleted.

    So, if crashes like that are happening because of this mod it would be that the player abused the preservation stones.

    Also, in my mod, I'll make it so dust piles decay quickly...and possibly...

    ALSO IN MOD WILL BE

    Destruction Stone!

    Placing this stone in a NON ESSENTIAL actors inventory:

    1) Kills it

    2) Marks it for Corpse Destruction

  10. I am thinking about creating a mod that stops the game from destroying corpses.

    Sometimes I, and others, want the landscape to be dotted with the bodies of slain dragons.

    If I can find the script that manages corpse deletion, I might add the following to it....perhaps something that states allow the lines of the following psuedo code

    try
    {
     if !(ActorInventory has PreservationStone or Actor is in PreserveCorpse Faction)
     {
       ;NormalRecycle_Deletion()
     }
     else
     {
      ;Keep Corpse
     }
    }
    catch (Exception Ex)
    {
     ;NormalRecycle_Deletion()
    }
    finally
    {

    }

    Preservation Stone: Physical Item that maintains corpses that would normally be deleted. Weighs 0. Alchemy craftable from commonly found ingredients. Lets say...Iron Ore and Salt.

    • Keeps corpse from being deleted by game.
    • Removal of the stone allows the game to delete the corpse next time it reloads the cell.
    • POSSIBLE BONUS: keeps reanimated corpses as well as any other creature holding the stone from turning into ever persistent dust piles.

    Preserve Corpse Faction:

    • As above, but more behind the scenes. Any creature/object in this faction can not be marked for deletion.

    Am I right that the file I should be modifying is ReferenceAlias.psc and specifically TrytoKill and TryToDisable?

    For ActorRef.Disablel() am I right that this hides the actor?

    For ActorRef.Kill() am I right that this removes the actor?

    After I finish this mod, I plan to make a second, likely much easier to code, mod to add multiple ranks to Twin Souls, allowing you increase its rank six times, allowing you to have Seven Simultaneous Summons. Why Seven Souls?, Since Seven Simultaneous Souls Sounds Super Sweet.

  11. Okay, thinking further on this issue.

    Once someone gives up:

    SetActorValue.Confidence 4; Set Actor Confidence to Cowardly from now on, forcing to avoid all threats.

    SetActorValue.Aggression 0; Set Aggression to unaggressive.

    ...or something like that.

    When being knocked out.

    Trigger 'ActionRagdollInstant'

    SetUnconcious 1

  12. Self Disarming Foes: When a foe gives up at critical hp, have them drop their weapons, all of them, even ones they aren't wearing.

    Binding Foes: When a foe gives up at critical hp, allow you to bind them, much like how Thalamor prisoners are bound. Hmm...perhaps force them to follow you and Take them to prison? I would find it hilarious to imprison every bandit and assassin.

  13. Thinking of Slaughter-Fish, I think of sharks, and can imagine that a slaughterfish that is injured might become prey for other slaughterfish, much like sharks do in real life.

    Essentially the idea is this:

    Slaughterfish which are wounded enter the 'WoundedSlaughterfish' faction, which all slaughterfish have aggressive disposition to.

  14. I was watching the Unarmed Viking Badass and

    and thought, hey, what if light and unarmored fists only knocked people out? What if you had a sleep spell. What if people actually gave up when they said they give up?

    Essentially the following ideas pop in mind:

    Sleep KO: A creature is sent temporarily rag-doll, set to the 'unconscious' state (as via command setunconscious). They act as if they were sleeping normally. A creature sent to this state does not count as a kill. They eventually wake up.

    Draggable KO: At low levels of hp while KO, creatures turn 'rag doll', and can be dragged around and looted as if they were a container. Attacking them while they are in this state, even with a non lethal weapon, is a coup de grace, killing them. Creatures might get alarmed at seeing a this level of KO ally, drag them someplace out of the way, MGS style. A creature sent to this state does not count as a kill. They eventually wake up.

    Punching: Without gloves or heavy gauntlets, punching someone past 0 hp sends them into Draggable KO and 1 HP.

    I give up! Mercy! I Surrender! When a creature starts yelling things like this at critical hp, they become non-hostile.

    Some creatures/factions refuse to show mercy (like Dragons!)

    Possible dialogue options to prevent them from attacking you on sight in the future?

    Possibly a 'surrender faction' they get placed in to determine hostility?

    Possibly they 'disarm' themselves?

    Possibly an option for you to 'bind them' to prevent them from attacking you in the future?

    Possible Factions Added: MercyBegsNone, MercyShowsNone, MercyGetsNone, MercyBegging

    Sleep Spell: Sends a creature to the Sleep KO State.

    Sleep Poison: Sends a creature to the Sleep KO State.

    Non Lethal Weapon Effect: Weapon cannot kill someone by weapon damage alone.

    ...I might program this myself, but my Full Time programming Job cuts into my leisure programming time.
