  5. kzelsama has released the armor for me ... download is now available in the armor category .... its called Necromonger Armor ... i hope you guys would like it..... ok thats it for now .... if anyone need modeling help for their mod or simply just want new model mesh to be available for the game ,,,, you are welcome to contact me ... i will be glad if i can help.... it has been fun and thank you all who hav been helpful to me

  7. i dont what would be a good stat ... maybe all attribute add by 5... and bouns on attack and defense ..... well, thats what i would like for my armor
  8. hey kzelsama .. do you think you can make a ready to release package for me on this ??? you know adding some bonus attributes and whereabout to obtain the armor and stuff. i adjusted the weighting as closed to my like as posiible (although more works can be done, but i dont think its visible in most of situation) ... so i would say its good to go

  10. thanks to kzelsama.... the model is now in game .... but its deformation is not good at all.... quite a lot of unwanted deformation occurred on the armor .... here are a couple of images showing that ... http://i47.tinypic.com/29qcljo.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/2mm6yjq.jpg the shoulder area deform quite badly and noticably ... the chest armor even weighted down by the deformation which is so not wanted .... also ,,, the torso armor followed along with the body making it like its a second skin to the body .... as to the limbs and extremities ,, they look fine to me.... much works have to be done on the exporting sector if DA community want to see more high quality new mesh in game .... sign :confused: kzelsama ... do yo think you can fix this by trying a different mount armor to copy the weighting from ??? or even minimise the unwanted deformation by weight paint(thats gonna be hard).... also, i try to import the msh file you gave me into blender using the newbypower script and was going to see what i can do about the deformation... but i cant get the model into blender ... strange .... all other msh file from the game package has got no problem importing into blender .... and thanks for your comment, worrior :thumbsup:

  17. ah ... i was thinking about making it in piece (not include the hel) to go just into the armor slot and just one UV .... do i have to hav them in three pieces? each with respective UV?

  19. yeah ... i hav read that yesterday afternoon along with some other alike tutorials... and i tried to followed it actually ,,, but for some reason it dosent work 4 me..... (maybe the fbx is different from Maya) .... i couldnt even generate any file just like in the tutorial ....... anyway... even if that worked .... i m still not sure a new armor mesh would work in game (for the time being) .... coz without bone weighting info ... your mesh would be just another static mesh.... maybe its just me did not try hard enough....my goal in this was actually to hav some fun in modeling .... not waisting time on figuring out how to bring it into game ..... man .... i desperately need help from people knows how to :confused:
  20. Ladyred,,, from the modeling point of view ,,, i would love to help out project like that .... but i still failed to see anyone who knows how to bring new models into the game ...... and thats the main problem currently
  21. did anyone here sucessfully bring any new mesh that follow the game skeleton into the game???? i cant find any tutorial on the web that discuss this matter anyone who can help me bringing new model into the game at all??
  22. of course you can use blender to model .... but i just learned a terrible truth ..... the Blender Import-Export Tools for DragonAge does not currently support creating new mesh for the game ..... even if you finish your new model .... you still hav to wait for the script that supports....... : (
  23. Well... LHammond,,, i hav actually begun modeling your reference armor.... but anyhow ,,, can you refer me to someone who knows how to when i got the modeling done??? Flash 432 ,,,, i will take a look at those later
  24. hi all ... i am making a new set of armor (as proposed by LHammonds in my other tread) and wishing to bring it into the game upon completion.... i m thinking about making one texture for the entire armor set (not including the helmet) ... so is that gonna be alright for bringing into the game ????? also a side question .... how is the head mesh named ???? as i can extract all bodyparts except that i cant locate the head...
