If you start from an earlier save or start a new game. Does it happen then also? If it does, try to disable your combat mods one by one to see if it can help pinpoint the problem.

Yea, I checked the integrity of game files and i also disabled all mods, but the game still won't start from SKSE64 loader. The game only starts from steam in vanilla mode. This is so frustrating. I cannot understand why they fcked up everything with this new update. I guess the only solution is to redownload fresh skyrim se and download one mod at a time until it breaks. I am not doing that though. It is just too troublesome... Edit: I finally fixed it. The SimplyKnock was the culprit. So I updated the DLL and now the game starts atleast. my modlist: https://modwat.ch/u/Robeloto/plugins The game starts and then crash to desktop. Loot says: You seem to be using Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants, but you have not enabled a compatibility patch for this mod. A third party patch is available here: Qwinn's Unified Automated Self Installing Patch Compendium But I have downloaded Qwinns unified patch and installed it, so I do not understand what I am missing here. These files is in my modlist also. Qw_S3DTrees_CRF Patch.esp Qw_S3DLandscapes_CRF Patch.esp Should be enough? I have the newest skse64 loader. Please help! -
I've got an item (Gastropod Slime) that apparently fortfies alchemy. I took a screenshot for more information on this item. So an fortify alchemy potion in vanilla Skyrim is not possible cause you could drink it and create new potions that are better in an infinite loop. I guess it can come from the creature mods I've installed, but I am not sure. Here is my modlist. https://modwat.ch/u/Robeloto/plugins It seems that I also need another item to actually make a potion out of it. I really hope it does not exist and this Gastropod Slime is just a tease.

I have been sitting here 9 hours to try understanding how to import models from Skyrim SE to Blender and then back to Skyrim SE. I think all the guides are just too old everywhere. Nothing seems to work. This is how long I got. I realized some models with BStrishape could not be exported to OBJ using Nifskope. So then I imported the model (nif file) into 3DSMAX and exported it as an OBJ file. Then I began working in Blender for hours and when I was done I realized a lot of data have not been exported correct. So nothing was correct when I opened the model in Nifskope. I downloaded the Nif-plugin for Blender and tried saving the obj file as NIF and then opened with Nifskope, but it did not help at all. I saw some guide in naming the block user versions to version 11 and version 34 then save and then open file again and right click on the main block and choose crop to branch. But after saving and trying to open the file again with Nifskope, it just gives an error and I cannot progress. Some suggested using older version of Blender, (2.49b) but I do not understand those older versions at all. I use the newest Blender atm (2.79b). Seriously, I just want to remaster some character models from Skyrim SE with Blender. Is it really impossible? If only there was a new tutorial somewhere, but I cannot find anyone. It is so frustrating. I wish anyone who knows how to Import and export models between Skyrim and Blender correctly can answer. Much thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Alright. If I ever get the same problem, then I know what to do. Yes, it may be hard to understand a crashdump file. I have problem to get them generated. Everytime my game crashed. I have looked for dmp files, but it seems in most of the case no dump file is generated even if logging is enabled.

That is Skyrims papyrus logging. With MO2, your logs should be in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\NewName\logs And I think it is activated through Settings -> Diagnostics. edit: Sorry but I do not think any logging will solve the CTD. I thought it was going to do it. But now I have tried it myself, both with papyrus and with MO2 logging. I got a CTD when entering Breezehome. Solution was to just not load that save anymore and load another earlier save. I sure learned to backup all my saves and never delete them. I am going to try to get a dragon to spawn just outside the meadery and see if that can produce any CTD for me. What nif did you remove?

Alright. I use Immersive Citizens too and I experience CTD during death or quick load sometimes, but I think for me, it is the Open Cities mod. One thing I forgot to mention is that you can enable logging to see what happens before CTD. In your case it might be helpful. I think you can enable logs in MO2 also. I have never tried it though. Let me know how it works out.

Which mods do you run except IAFT? I also use LOOT and iAFT and never had this problem before. -
Well, quicksave are not that bad. But IMO you should always have at least one normal save backup if something happens. Except for the quicksave, I have about 3 normal saves and some autosaves. I paid dearly though when I deleted many of my backup saves when the save broke and I had to go back many hours in the game, because the save broke. Yes, start a new game and try to reproduce the problem, just to know if this is indeed a save file problem. Interesting, I did not know LOOT ever could be wrong. Never experienced CTD around the meadery and I also use the Skyrim flora overhaul, but I have not visited the honningbrew meadary that much though. You can properly uninstall mods with scripts, but then you must use the fallrimtool to clean the save. I have uninstalled many mods with scripts and my save is OK.

Can you give some more information. When did this start to happen? Have you added any new mods? Does this happen with a new save also? Tried reinstalling the game (clean install)? -
Have you tried starting the game from a clean install? Without any mods whatsoever and see if it works. Just to see if it is the mods that are causing it. I am not familiar with all these mods in your list either so I probably can't help you that much. Btw, I see that you use NMM. I also used NMM in the past, and yes it works, but MO2(Mod Organizer 2) is much better IMO, especially if you run many mods. You can read more about MO2 here. Not an expert here. Sorry if I am pointing out obvious things you probably know. But you run many mods on that save and you have uninstalled some of them that use scripts? That can be a problem and I hope you have older saves/backups. But it can be solved by loading the save file in FallrimTools Resaver. Delete unattached instances and undefined elements. Do a backup before you do anything with the save though.

Hi! If this has not happened before and you have not added any new mods that can be the culprit it might be the save. If you have save backups, you could try with an older save. Otherwise, try with a new save and see if the same thing happens. Your save might be bugged and a savecleaner might help. I use FallrimTools - ReSaver. After use I did not get as much CTD. But I do get them sometimes on death, so there can probably many other reasons why CTD happens.

I used save funclist 1 to know the referenceid for some creatures. Then I wrote in console: player.moveto 000FA3A1. This moved me to a minotaur, so they definitely exist. It placed me southeast from Ivarstead. Really strange that I have not encountered one before and many other creatures. It seems I have to do this to encounter the ones I've missed. -

Yes, as you see I made a bashed patch with Wryebash. It seems to be working, but how do I really know it is working if I haven't encountered them all? I should have encountered Minotaurs for example, but never seen them. It is probably atleast 70 of them. Maybe it is random which monster I will encounter. Or for example, is there a specific Minotaur spawn somewhere? -
I am running both Beasts of Tamriel and Immersive Creatures special edition. I''ve only met a few from each mod and I have been almost over the whole map. Is there a list to spawn different creatures from the mods? I just want to be sure everything is working. An odd error I've never seen before...

SkyHUD and SkyUI_SE is compatible at least. I do not know why he has another SkyUI in the load order though. That can be a problem maybe. And make sure to use LOOT to correct any load order issues. -

Yep, I realized I had more than one weather mods. After trying them out one by one, I liked Obsidian the most. The strangest thing happened though after I uninstalled the other weather mods. I do not know if the uninstallation of the weather mods was the cause of it. All NPCs have a hollow neck when decapitated. You can check my other thread if you perhaps know any solution to this. -

I moved out all the meshes and textures. Then loaded an really early save and now the neck stump looks ok. Then I pasted the meshes and textures back in again and it still looks ok. But when I load my recent save, the hollow neck stump shows up again. Maybe it is the Amaliafollower mod? Cause when I load a save without that it works. But removing amalia does not change anything with my recent save. Even tried cleaning the save from old scripts with FallRimTools ReSaver, but that just corrupted my save. I really do not want to start over, cause it took me almost 200 hours to get where I am now in the game. I know the neck stump showed up when I had the Amalia follower mod before, but not now. Seems to me all the recent saves I load has the hollow neckstump. Wish I knew exactly what causes this. And yes, seeing this hole in every npc after I kill them is a game breaker for me. If this is unfixable, I will probably leave this game and not look back anymore. Edit: I am going to start a new save game with some mods activated at a time, so I can perhaps solve what the problem is and eliminate it. Maybe a new save will work flawlessly with all mods activated. Going to try this later today. Edit 2: New save with all mods activated works fine. So this means my save is f*cked up. How can this be fixed? Edit 3: I finally found a save that worked ok, but it is about 50 hours back or something. I can live with that if there is no other solution. If there is no answer in this thread in 1 day from now, I will start from that old save. I guess the bugged save could be fixed with ReSaver somehow... Edit 4: Just wanted to add more information. I can see the neckstump on the ground after I decapitate someone. When the kill animation begins I can see the throat and neckstump, then shortly after the character autodress their clothes on and the throat and neckstump disappears. The neckstump thingy is laying beside the body like a lid. It is almost like it was forced off the body, like it did not fit or something. -
So I just recently encountered this problem. I have tried with other saves, fresh save, but the problem persists. I have not installed or deinstalled any mods since this happened. Well, except that I did remove NAT and ELFx Weathers, cause I had too many weather mods installed. But this mod doesn't touch the body meshes/textures. It is the same problem for both females and males. I've tried deactivating some mods like enhanced blood and CBBE. I use Vitruvia and CBBE for body/face textures. I have tried installing them again, but did not help. This are the mods I am running. List from Wrye Bash. Glad your games looks better now. ^^ And yes, ELFX main and Obsidian is perfectly fine. You CAN also use the "ELFX Enhancer" plugin, if you like darker dungeons. I did that - together with Obsidian - and everything worked and looked fine. OFC, that's a matter of personal taste - I like it, when magelights or torches really have a meaning. Ok thanks! Then I should add that enhancer plugin again, because I really like darkness. I also have a low light on my display (0% brightness), cause my eyes get kinda irritated when it is too bright. The bad thing about that is that I cannot play on the days. I've got too many windows and blinds doesn't help that much. xD It gets a bit better on the evenings and nights, but I live in north of Sweden so atm I have the midnight sun. So it never gets dark again until late summer. -

Thank you. I should have thought of that. Yes, I realized I had way too many weather mods and they kinda collided with each other. I removed the ELFX weather now. So now I use only these weather and lighting mods : Re engaged + ELFX main file + Obsidian. Yea, the fog did look a bit nice. The overlapping part was really weird though. xD Yes, I know I had several weather mods installed. I solved this by not running too many weather mods at once lol. Thank you for the response. I did not even knew I had replies to this thread. I was going to explain that removing NAT fixed it. It took a lot of time before I realized this was the problem. Using so many weather mods at the same time is kinda crazy, or maybe even really stupid. xD I uninstalled NAT and ELFX weathers The game looks a lot better now! So atm I use Re engaged with Obsidian weathers and ELFX main file. That should be alright? -
Every day it is rainy and cloudy...and I want sunny days...

I've managed to solve this on my own. This is how I did it. First I deactivated 'Obsidian Weathers' mod. Then I load my save and sleep/wait for 24 hours. If it is not sunny I will wait until it is sunny and then save and exit game. Then I reactivated the 'Obsidian Weathers' mod and load up my save. Now the weather is back to normal. Still some rainy days, but more variety and much more of the sunny days. Do not get me wrong here. I really like different weathers, like rain, fog, snow, cloudy, etc That is why I installed the obsidian weathers. But when I've had 20 rainy days in a row, I realized something was wrong, but now I somehow fixed it. Edit; Also I am aware in these picture, I have both NAT and Obsidian weathers turned on. They do not work so well together.These made some really weird lighting problems for me and I was aware of this some days ago. Turning off nat solved those problems.
