  1. I haven't added any texture mods, due to my low end PC, its definitely nice to know that interiors and exteriors can have different settings tho, I'll check that out.
  2. I'm looking for a good lore-friendly bow mod, something akin to JaySuS swords, but for bows. In digging through the weapon section I'v found pitifully few bow mods, and even fewer bow packs. Basically I'm looking for bows similar to the Imperial bow, but at higher levels, once I started modding I really started noticing how much I hated the late light equipment (elven/glass) I'm trying to keep a rugged look for my Argonian archer/thief, and with JaySuS swords and Hoth armors, I'm doing pretty good, now I need a bow to match.
  3. I've been running Skyrim for a while now on low FPS, I have a low end PC, 3.2 Core 2 Duo with a shared memory NVidia GPU (benchmark score 103). However after tuning the settings the past few days I'v gotten it to the point where I was pretty impressed, I now have nice FPS on with nice draw distance in the open world. My problem is that the game falls apart inside forts - or any similar stone building, prime examples being the ratway/ragged flagon - I don't know why it's forts in general, as the game seems to do fine in caves, houses etc, however the wooden Jarl's longhouses also see a noticeable dip. But nowhere near as bad as forts, I've noticed that if a fort is has multiple floors anything above the ground floor will be really bad, often to the point of unplayable. (ever tried aiming spells at 5-10 FPS, ain't gonna happen) So basically I'm wondering if there's anything I could turn down that would help me with this without forcing me to play with lower settings in the rest of the game.

Which armor mod(s) is this guy using: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3643328/1.html and is there a mod which leaves you last last equipped one-handed weapon visible after equipping a bow, I had this bug where when wearing Nightingale Armor, with dual Deadric axes, when I switched to a bow the sheathed axe could still be seen. I just think it would be cool and realistic if my archer could still have a sword or dagger visible... (self-defense much?)

  6. heh, :biggrin: I do read all of the description page, however I download a couple at a time, then read the page description before installing, usually up to 4 hours after downloading. (download before work, install after) can I manage mods with modmanager that I didn't install via modmanager?

I tried running FXAA PPI, but the game would no longer start, just flashed a black screen for a split-second, checked the log: Redirecting CreateDevice D3DCreateEffectFromFile failed Try to use "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls Skyrim" for shaded files. I'm going to try to remove Skyrim from the Program Files directory, also, why did it install into the 32bit I figured it'd be 64
  9. aight thanx for the help guys I'll download it so I'v got it if I ever need it. yup I'm doing that, I was a bit leery at first about adding so many mods, so I'v been testing between every install. SkyUI too, I'm holding back on Economics, its the mod that drew me in originally, but I'm holding back on it now for some inexplicable reason :huh:

I'm trying modded Skyrim for the first time, and after browsing the mods, I decided to go ballsdeep and get a whole bunch, so I'm wondering if any of them will conflict, I have: Live inns and taverns autumn of whiterun economics of skyrim glowing ore veins JaySuS swords FXAA PPI Masters of Death SkyUI Immersive Armors I'm running the latest patch of Skyrim + DawnGuard thanx in advance for any help.
