(Double post in order to post more images) The Mountain Peak and FrostCrag Spire (the wizards tower) Bruma, the capital of the county All 3D assets have been legally created by our 3D arts department! Our development team is made up of experienced modders as well as student and Industry game designers. We are looking for level designers to help out with the development of the Jerall mountains and eventually other parts of Cyrodiil. The were uploaded to Dark Creations initially, but was taken down for further development, once we feel that they are ready we will upload them again. It will be announced in this thread so you won't miss it :smile: We got a major update! This time focusing on The Jerall mountains, and of course the tallest mountain in Cyrodiil, Gnoll Mountain. Those buildings belong to our farmhouse/village kit, they will be used for most minor settlements in the province. it's basically the cyrodiil version of the skyrim village architecture. That piece of concept art is not related to the Cyrodiil project, its most likely part of Elsweyr. -

Hey yic17! I can understand that you're concerned, but let me try and explain how things work so that you may better understanding why we are doing things the way we are. The Game Informer Article is very simple in the sense that it doesn’t really explain how everything works, as you may have noticed. We have different teams working on almost every province and you need to analyse and judge each Beyond Skyrim project individually, because they are very much independent from each other when it comes to basic development and team members. I'm going to assume you already knew this, since you found your way to the Cyrodiil province thread and all. Only a very few province mods have actually made it to release, Tamriel Rebuilt and The desert of Anequina are both good examples. The reason why a province mod usually struggles compared to any other total conversion mods is because they depend on costume assets. Nehrim, Falskaar and Enderal are all mods using skyrim or Oblivion vanilla assets when building the game worlds, this is a luxury we do not have when creating a province. The lack of 3D modellers is often the key reason why province mods fail. Tamriel Rebuilt's got a hardcore and talented development team, with both the 3D modellers and texture artists needed to create the game world, Elsweyr: the desert of Anequina had several well known modellers including Mr.Siika and DarknessEternal, without these individuals the projects would have been impossible. Its very difficult to find 3D modellers willing to produce such an amount of professional game assets for free, at Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil we have about three such amazing modellers and in the past four months we have been able to create 25% of every game asset needed to build the province. Safe to say, getting the assets needed wont be a problem in our case and that puts us in the same spot as Falskaar and Nehrim, we have the assets needed, now we simply need to build the world. Our long term plan is to purplish the mod in pieces, starting of with Bruma and the Jerral mountains, so there you've got the expansion mod you're looking for. Getting the mod published before the release of the next elder scrolls is of absolutely no concern, we are more interested in creating our own game world than worrying about people not playing within the next three years. We are doing this for fun, and not because we want the largest about of people possible playing it. -

Absolutely! We are very interested in sharing some of our assets with the public as we progress, However, we wont publish any assets belonging to incomplete tilesets/kits, so you will have to wait until we are completely happy with it ;) right now we're looking into releasing the Cyrodiil city wall tileset, aswell as the Cathedral of Julianos 3d kit as modders resources. I recommend you get hold of the student version of 3D studio max. learning 3D modelling takes time, so you'll probably be spending a good three months getting a good understanding of modelling and texturing.

it shows distance Object now, but now distant textures, so the whole desert looks like a large green field from far off Deleting the INI also re added the borders making it impossible for me to enter the mod area -

Thats the thing, i dont know where to place it. so i just placed the LOD in the data folder. i did some experimenting and when i remove the distance LOD completely nothing changes on the mod, so thats probably the problem. where should i put the Distance LOD? -

I tried downloading something called TES4LODGen, someone said that would help. but after running it nothing changed. what confuses me is that i cant seem to find anyone with the same problem, am i the only one who don't understand how to get this mod right? -

Hey, i have been trying out the mod called "elsweyr the deserts of anequina" the problem is related to view distance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/62334159@N07/8100691540/sizes/h/in/photostream/ as you can see, this is very immersion breaking, how do i install the mod so that i can se all of Elsweyr and none of the original randomly generated landscape?

Cool! I'm not at my home computer at the moment, but there was a video tutorial and a PDF describing how to do it from Max into Nifskope. I've tried it and it works. I'll be home in a few hours, will send you what info I can. much appreciated friend :)

well, right now my only real problem is creating proper collisions, the tutorials on creation kit.com wasn't very helpful you have to excuse my OP, i was really frustrated by not finding any any guide and tutorials, but I think i'm on to something now. :) the thing is, if i can find a way to import all my custom made architecture then i'm certain i can create some very interesting new land mods
