Does alt tabbing out effect shadows as I do that a lot at times?

Hi, i recently upgraded my PC and decided to try out skyrim, Ive only installed the improved mesh mod so far and Bethesda HD texture pack but Im getting weird shadow bugs atm that others seem to have had previously, the shadows will mess up the entire light/dark of the room and seem to move/flicker in and out of this states as i move around, I have no idea how to fix it please could someone advise. Thanks
