  1. I'm trying to create a substantial mod that has the player go through several crafting steps to make The Philosopher's Stone for transmuting between useful resources and making the Elixir of Life. One of the steps I'd like to add is to have the player use a channeled spell that converts 1% of their maximum health into a sample of Soul Dust each second, which can be used to synthesize either soul gems, fire/frost/void salts, and the elemental stones needed to make and upgrade your Philosopher's Stone. To prevent spamming, I'd like this spell to apply a temporary debuff to the player that keeps their maximum health reduced by the amount converted. Feel free to use the spell "Equilibrium" as a starting point in terms of spell sounds, visuals, etc. Apprentice-level conjuration or alteration spell that costs 20 magicka/second. What I would like this spell to do is apply one stack of the debuff "Soul Sunder" (reduce max health by 1%, stacking additively so 70 stacks bring the player down to 30% max health instead of 49%). And then, every 30 seconds, one stack will remove itself. If the player reaches 100 stacks, they'll die. Ideally, the debuff would, every 5 seconds, have a chance equal to the player's restoration skill to remove a stack - a restoration skill of 15 means every 5 seconds has a 15% chance to remove one stack, and a restoration skill of 100 means a 100% chance of removing one stack every 5 seconds. 12 consecutive failures to remove a stack will force the removal of one stack (so players with awful luck or a restoration skill modded to zero won't be permanently cursed). The Soul Dust item can simply be a misc clutter item with the mesh, texture, etc. of void salts. I'm more than willing to make all the recipes that turn Soul Dust into soul gems and the elemental salts, but you're free to do so if you'd like to make the Soul Sunder spell a standalone mod that I then incorporate into my mod. Here's a glimpse into my mod to show I'm serious: ("lotps" = "Legend of the Philosopher's Stone")
  2. For role-play purposes, I want my character to have a jewel embedded in her forehead. The easiest way I can think to do this is to create a custom circlet with only one gem and invisible metal. The problem? I have no idea how to get the mesh-editing programs to cooperate with me. Therefore, I'm begging somebody with appreciable modding skill to make for me a standalone circlet that appears to be nothing but a single gem embedded into the skull. Desired minimum: lone sapphire that appears to be protruding from the wearer's forehead If you're extra bored... Stretch goals: 1. Can be enchanted 2. Amethyst 3. Can be crafted at a forge (maybe a medley of all the flawless gems) 4. Shaped like the diamond suit of playing cards 5. Multiple versions, each with a different color (six vanilla gemstones are plenty) (sell cost is the same for all colors, hence "medley" recipe) 6. Multiple versions, each with a different shape (various gem cuts) 7. Decent gem textures. The vanilla texture for a circlet's gem is pretty crappy. If it matters, I mostly intend to wear this on a female high-elf I made to look more like a Nord. In case you're curious (you may skip this)... I'm trying to write a story that takes place in a parallel universe that focuses on a race of Nymphs: an all-female race of genetically engineered supermodels with elf-like ears. In this new universe, they find and adopt crystal-based technology that requires a piece to be installed into your forehead to allow you to interact with it. Therefore, every Nymph has a jewel embedded into her forehead. Also, every color of jewel in this universe is created equally, so no forehead gem would be worth more than any other. That said, the mod that would be best for role-playing purposes would technically be a custom race. The character creation screen (race menu) wouldn't have a sex slider but would instead have two new sliders: "Gem Shape" and "Gem Color". However, that seems like a huge ask, so I'm going to stick with a custom circlet. Maybe consider a new race to be an ultra-stretch goal if you like.
