Happy to report I found out the issue. After disabling and re-enabling mods in chunks, I narrowed it down to one mod that was causing the crash. It was this mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3333?tab=description. In the list it was "254 FE 7 HD Lods SSE.esp" Couldn't tell you why, but now I can play my original save again. I suspect I may have other issues at some point, but at least I solved this one. Thanks for your help.

Just tried uninstalling it. Sadly got the same result when attempting a new game. I definitely think it's something that alters the Skyrim worldspace causing the CTD, although I've tried disabling Open Cities and Whiterun Forest with no luck either, so I'm at a loss.

Unfortunately, disabling Live Another Life and attempting to start a new game results in an instant crash. Starting a new game with Live Another Life installed still allows me to start and load into the cell. Earlier I had started a new game with this mod, and it spawned me in Solstheim, no issues at first. As soon as I attempted to fast travel back to Skyrim, I got the CTD again. My current character is in Fort Dawnguard, but attempting to re-enter Skyrim has the same result. I'm starting to suspect it's not a fast travel/loading issue, and is actually a problem with a mod that alters the Skyrim land.

Also, tried disabling Live Another Life, didn't change anything I'm afraid.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried disabling VividWaterFix.esp and it didn't make a difference unfortunately. Also, that mod is from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10808 which explicitly states in the description that it's highly compatible with Realistic Water Two, so I do not think that is the issue.

Hello, Looking for some help. I recently reinstalled Skyrim SE, and along with it, I tried to reinstall a mod list from a previous save. I managed to get back all but two mods. The two mods in question were ELFX - Exteriors.esp and VanillaWaterFix.esp. I cannot for the life of me find out what mod VanillaWaterFix.esp is from, and ELFX - Exteriors.esp conflicts with Lanterns of Skyrim II, even though I previously had both installed on this save with no problems. So, I decided to leave them out, and the game loads fine. The problem however, is if I try to fast travel anywhere, or travel to another area, the game will CTD before leaving the loading screen. After trying numerous solutions, I decided that I'd just try a new save. Unfortunately, the problem persists on a new save, so I'm at a loss for how to fix it. Issue occurs when trying to fast travel anywhere, not just for one specific place. If anyone has anyone advice for how to fix it, I'm all ears. Thanks.
