He man, if you want help with a mod please just ask a specific question and leave out the complete bullshit story... Do you want Jodi to become a marriage candidate and move in with you? Because that's almost impossible to do. But if you want an event where she falls in love with you or has sex with you or whatever, I might be able to help.

Mod Help: Viewing/editing .xnb dialogue mods on a Mac
bombastick1 replied to Lymmea's topic in Stardew Valley's Discussion
Did you read this guide already: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1s5cEf7NLvJ6iIu6kh1oRGKE-Uw25Aak0xs2S5_MA9to/edit ? It's written for beginners to do the most basic stuff, like editing dialogues. It uses XnbNode to convert .xnb files into readable and editable text files. I'm just not sure if it also works on Mac, since I'm using a Windows computer. If not, I could send you the converted text files so you could at least read them, but you'd still need a program to convert them back after editing. -
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a mod and as part of it I'd like to edit the marriage ceremony. However, I can't find the content file where the marriage event is written (it doesn't seem to be in the general 'Events' folder). Can anyone tell me where I can find the marriage event file so I can edit the marriage scene? Thanks

Mod Request: Tweak to Sebastian's schedule post-marriage
bombastick1 replied to Lymmea's topic in Stardew Valley's Discussion
Don't mention it, it's not a big effort if you know how to edit the game's Content files. And since I'm working on a mod myself it was just a minor distraction. As for Sebastian's Saturday schedule, I think there is a sort of general marriage schedule that applies to all NPC's (unless stated otherwise like on Seb's Mondays and Fridays). I just don't know how and where in the Content folder it is stored, and if it's even editable at all. -
Mod Request: Tweak to Sebastian's schedule post-marriage
bombastick1 replied to Lymmea's topic in Stardew Valley's Discussion
Well as you can see here: (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Sebastian), when you're married to Sebastian he has an adjusted schedule for Fridays and Mondays. Each character has a content file with a code that dictates what they do on each day of the week. However, I couldn't find the code that says what Sebastian should do on Saturdays when he is married, just the one that says what he should do on regular Saturdays. And those for married Mondays and Fridays. So if you'd like I could also make him meet up with Sam on Mondays, but in that case it would interfere with Sam working at JojaMart, and since Sam wouldn't have any income then he would have to live in a trailer with Pam and Penny... -
Mod Request: Tweak to Sebastian's schedule post-marriage
bombastick1 replied to Lymmea's topic in Stardew Valley's Discussion
Ok now this SHOULD work (or at least it did when I tried). Unfortunately I couldn't find Sebastian's marriage schedule for Saturdays, so why he's not just visiting Sam on that day is beyond me. I did however manage to make Sam and Seb hang out on FRIDAYS. Just unzip the files and locate the Stardew Valley/Content/Characters/schedules folder and replace the old files with the two new ones (don't forget to make a back-up first!). Note that their schedules may differ on rainy days and some other exceptions. Also, whenever you're not married to Sebastian anymore (either in this game or in a new game), I'd advise you to replace these files with the old ones again since they're better adjusted to the other NPC's. Let me know if it worked. -
Mod Request: Tweak to Sebastian's schedule post-marriage

Hey Lymmea, could you send me the save file where you are married with Sebastian? I don't have one myself so otherwise I can't check if it works. -
Why does nothing have a manifest?
bombastick1 replied to OtakuLory's topic in Stardew Valley's Discussion
I had the same problem the first time I tried to use mods. In my case it turned out that I didn't unpack the downloaded files properly. Remember that you have to unzip most of the downloaded mods first before you put them in your SMAPI folder. If you did that and you still have the problem, see if the specific mod is compatible with your version of Stardew Valley and SMAPI (you might try to use a mod that was designed for older versions or perhaps your game is outdated). Finally, see if there is a 'manifest' file in your mod folder, and if it's complete. You might be able to add some missing fields manually. -
New to Stardew mods, help plz.

What does the SMAPI command prompt say when you start the game? (for example 'version not compatible' or 'mod not found') -
Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a mod that changes the NPC dialogues so that conversations with Stardew villagers become a bit more interesting. Now I already know how to edit the Dialogue files and how to make NPC's say certain things in certain situations. However, in some situations I would also like to make the screen go black while the conversation continues (so that you can only see the dialogue window but the background is black). This way I could make the NPC's take certain actions without actually having to change the visuals. Can anyone tell me if there's a simple way to do this? Or if it's even possible at all? Thanks in advance!
