  1. Thanks so much -- probably should've done a search but it just didn't occur to me haha. I'll definitely reinstall it first before seeking any further troubleshooting, though. Thanks again.
  2. Hey, This isn't game specific and I'm kiiiiiiiiiinda newish to NMM (in a way, I only use it to download/add mods and that's about it, nothing more in depth); as of last night, NMM no longer opens, at all. The night before was fine. No error messages; no processes/apps start in task manager; doesn't even bring up the splash screen. Now, I have put off updating for a very, very long time; is there some kind of function to disable it from working once you've chosen not to update for such a long period of time? (it's been maybe a year). I haven't yet uninstalled/reinstalled (haven't had a chance to yet), and I know that's likely going to be the first troubleshooting step since I can't even launch it to update. Any help at all would be appreciated.
  3. I uninstalled and reinstalled for like.. the billionth time and everything seems to be OK now :/
  4. Ahoy! No matter what I do, I can't seem to get Better Cities to work correctly - most of it works perfectly fine, however in some places there's a whole heap of missing meshes. I've uninstalled better cities and reinstalled and it does indeed seem to be that better cities is the problem. I've tried to find as much trouble shooting stuff as I can, i.e. checking to make sure there's 5 bsa; tried omod/loot/boss/wrye/nmm and the same thing occurs with all of these. Any thoughts? :( fyi I've used FormID and they're definitely Better Cities meshes.
  5. Well that all seems to be sorted now - I think the CTDs were a load order issue; it would randomly/intermittently CTD earlier, and always CTD on exit, now neither appear to be happening. Woo!
  6. Hahah oh man I'm a twit. Wrong directory this whole time. WELL THEN. On another note, I think OBSE is causing crash to desktop, lol. ON TO INVESTIGATING THAT.
  7. Yeah, it doesn't look as though it even realises blockhead.dll is there;
  8. Which obse log? There's a few different; obse.log; obse_loader.log; and obse_training_fix.log; I've tried launching through OBMM, NMM, and from obse_load in \oblivion\ and still no changes
  9. That's one thing I did notice - Blockhead.ini never gets created; I've uninstalled/reinstalled it three times now and it never creates any *ini. I suppose that's what the issue is.
  10. No errors setting NPCs as essential; got the OBSE saves too; it launches as admin as is, but I thought I'd recht click > run as admin just in case, still no bueno :sad: In the end it's no biggie; the default faces are fine, they're just dated and kind of weird.
  11. Yep - everything else is working perfectly, including OBSE (launching the game using OBSE). The only thing that doesn't work is Blockhead, oddly. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it; I even cleared all my cached user data and reinstalled Oblivion from scratch. :sad: For completeness sake, I even disabled all of my mods and re-enabled them one by one, using no mods/any mods it still insists Blockhead is not installed :\
  12. Sorry, I'm not sure if this is the correct location for this. I've got Blockhead.dll installed in my OBSE\plugins; however I can't get character overhaul to work. I've tried with all of my other mods disabled, and it seems that no matter what I do, it still insists that Blockhead is not installed. Any ideas? (Using NMM & OBMM, as well as manually; Oblivion GOTY edition)
