When I am playing Skyrim or Fallout, I can't handle micro-stutters or frame loss at all. But, I also like my game to be up to today's standards of graphics, so I want to find some place in the middle. Just did, still same problem. "SKSEScripts (the name of my data file archived) can't be added."

My most recent try was SKSE64 after realizing that I had been trying to install the normal version. The problem persists, though.

I just recently bought Skyrim Special Edition straight off STEAM. I have been trying to install SKSE, and have tried every video and installation method there is. When I get to the step of dragging the data archive into NMM, it says that it cannot be installed. When I try using the installer on the website and launching the game off the shortcut it installs, it says that it can't find TESV.exe. I have tried showing hidden files in my windows control panel and I can see no others solution. I also have gone into my Skyrim Special Edition folder to check, and TESV doesn't exist at all. I have also just reinstalled the game, and still no fix.
