  1. Download this tool: FO3Edit from the nexus hp Unpack it anywhere you want, it doesn't matter Then rename the .exe to Fo3masterupdate and run it. check the bottom of the list that follows for any errors if you don't get one you're free to play It switches all your .esp files into .esm files or something like that If some of your plugins do show an error you might wanna open them in G.E.C.K. and resave them. Just save them, nothing more. then run the masterupdate again. this only affects very old mods which weren't created with the G.E.C.K. because it wasn't released at the time. But that's more you wanted to hear. Anyway, if you wan't to change your plugins back to .esp rename the .exe to Fo3Masterrestore and run it----> voila Also renaming it to FO3Edit is veeery helpful. you can aply an filter whick checks all your mods for critical conflicts and so on... but thats another story For now this is all you need to hear. Sorry for my english it isn't my native tongue Hope i could help MfG
  2. You can try this tool: FO3Edit You can start the .exe from anywhere you want. But foremost you have to rename it to "FO3masterupdate" then run it once. Check the messages at the end to see if any kind of plugin makes a problem, but usually they don't. This helped for me after installing the 1.5 Patch and playing with a lot of mods. I had the same problem as you. Try it out.
