Does anyone know the name of the mod that allows you to set up to 10 spells to be automatically cast under set certain circumstances ?? I don't remember the name of it and I have searched through the mods pages and can't find anything similar.

SSE CTD on Save After Hours of Gameplay
Zoolamon2 replied to squireoivanhoe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
My Game is having the same problem when I begin at Skuldafn as well. 117 Active mods 140 Active Plugins total. Main character has (wild guess here), over 100 hrs play time. Peace talks save runs ok - End of Season Unending Quest. Return to Whiterun save is ok Capture Odahviing save is ok ...But as soon as I try to save in Skuldafn...CTD I also get random CTD's in combat. Trying squireoivanhoe's method. - Uninstalled Diverse Dragons Collection, based on other posts, - Uninstalled Convenient Horses, It just wasn't working at all. Loaded my Skulfadn saveafter cleaning, killed the 1st two Draugr and the dragon, tried a manual save (console - save [savename]) and still CTD. Went back and cleaned the two previous saves to my Skuldafn one, Loaded the cleaned save where I have captured Odahaviing, flew to Skuldafn, killed the two draugr and the dragon..... SAVE SUCCESSFUL, both quicksave and a console save (savename) Thankyou squireoivanhoe -
LE Smithing: Mats Weights Vs Item Weights.
Zoolamon2 replied to Zoolamon2's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Ok so I tried the CCO mod (with the other recommended mods) and it does not address the point I am trying to make. eg #1. Iron Greatsword = 16 weight. Mats required 4 x Iron Ingot, 3 Leather Strips. eg#2. Banded Iron Armour = 33 weight. Mats required 5 x Iron Ingot, 1 x Corundum Ingot, 4 Leather Strips. If ingots are 1 weight each and Leather strips are 5 per weight unit, then how do you get body armour weighing 33 from mats weighing a total of 6.8 ? This is the inconsistency I am looking for a way to balance.- 3 replies

LE Smithing: Mats Weights Vs Item Weights.
Zoolamon2 replied to Zoolamon2's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Thanks, it looks really good, tho I was wondering if there was anything simpler that addresses my query without having to install several mods that may cause conflicts with mods I already have installed.- 3 replies

Has anyone done a mod or considered the actual amounts of mats requirements for crafting weapons and armour. it seems that you need a lot less mats (weightwise) to craft weapons and armour. eg Imperial Sword = 10 weight. mats Req'd = 2 x Steel Ingot, 1 x Iron Ingot, 1 x Leather Strip (or 2 x Steel Ingot,1 x Leather Strip, depending on which mods you are running). So for an investment of mats weighing 3-4units you get a weapon weighing 10 units. How is this possible ?? Realistically if the resulting item finishes up at 10 units weight then the total weight in mats should exceed this to allow more realistic crafting. ie The same Imperial sword should require 11 Steel and 2 leather strips to allow for leftover and wastage when crafting. Another example: Iron Club = 11 units. Mats = >3 units (2 x Iron Ingots, Leather Strip) Blades Armour = 45 units. Mats = 9 units (3 Leather Strips, 5 x Steel Ingots, 1 x Iron Ingot, 2 x Corundum Ingot). What also doesn't make sense with this example is using Steel, Iron and Corundum (Iron and Corundum when smelted = Steel). Has this been previously addressed or is there someone out there who feels as I do that for good immersion and reality this should be a new mod. Unfortunately I have no idea about modding so would someone be interested taking on this challenge ?? I would be happy to help with any planning.

Thanks, but most modders only give you specific installation instructions (from what I have seen). I'm talking about the best way of UPDATING already installed mods with newer versions so that people in general don't bug their game by removing a potentially critical mod that another mod(s) are dependent on, only to find that after they have reinstalled the newer version they have problems getting the game to run again. One thing I have discovered in the last few weeks since I have been playing around with mods, especially trying to find ones that don't conflict with others, is that you can bug your game by installing/removing a lot of mods. I was hoping the community would have "the best or at least better method" for doing this.

I have recently started playing Skyrim again, with mods and have noticed mt NMM telling that there are updated for some mods. What I need to know is , What is the best way to go about updating mods, so that save games aren't bugged. Do you; a) install and activate the newer one THEN deactivate the older one ? or b) Deactivate the older one first THEN activate the newer one ? Also is it a good idea to uninstall the old one or keep it incase there's conflicts with the new one. Any other tips for updating mods?? Thankyou.
