  1. I love this game to death and I really believe that it has the best community a game can have. Thanks for all the new content guys, I’ve already enjoyed some it and I hope that I’ll be able to enjoy every single mod if time allows.

    Cheers and beers, plenty!!

  2. Thanks for the insight abot, in a way I was afraid of that answer, but it's good that I know where to start at least. I believe it's due time I familiarize myself with some of these utilities. Good ol' Morrowind, it's always been a rough love between us. Anyway, I have found a tutorial of sorts and I'll post it here just in care anyone else lands in my shoes in the future. It's a rather old one, but by the looks of it, it's still helpful.

Merging mods with the Construction Set:

Always back up your .esp files first, just in case.

    1. Run the Construction Set.

    2. On the file menu, choose Data Files.

    3. On the Data File screen, double click on all the master files (Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon) you have so there's an 'X' in the box next to them.

    4. If you have any mods that use master (.esm) files, do NOT select those. Just select the masters that are from the game and the expansions.

    5. Double click on the .esp files you want to merge together. If you have a lot, just do a few at a time.

    6. Make sure you have an 'X' next to all the master files and the .esp files you want to merge.

    7. You don't need to select an Active file, unless you want a particular .esp to override the others in case of conflicts. (The Active .esp file will load last, so any changes in that will override .esp files that are loaded earlier.

    8. Now click the OK button to load everything into the Construction Set. If see a prompt about setting an Active file, just click yes to continue (unless you want an .esp file to be Active, as mentioned in #7.)

Loading the files will take a bit; be patient.

    9. If you have both Tribunal and Bloodmoon, you'll probably see a lot of error messages, mostly about dialogue. This is normal (though annoying); just click past them. (If you have 'Yes to all' enabled in your morrowind.ini file, you'll have a 'Cancel' button that will get you past the error messages.)

    10. Once the master files and mods are loaded, go back to the Files menu and choose the 'Combine Loaded Plugins' option.

    12. Say 'Yes' to the prompt, pick a new file name for the merged plugin, and save it.

    13. Close the Constructin Set and test the mod in the game.

When you use the merged plugin in the game, make sure you check only the merged plugin, not the original plugins that it includes. (Double click the original mods to deselect them.)

    Note:

Add the following on a line by itself to the 'General' section of your morrowind.ini file to let you get past multiple error messages faster:

    AllowYesToAll=1

It's a good idea to backup the .ini file first (just copy and paste in the same directory), especially if you're new to editing .ini files.

  3. Hello,

Has anyone been successfully using Merge Plugins with Morrowind ?

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905?tab=posts

I'm rather close to the limit (247 atm) and I'm quite sure I'll need some kind of utility to merge some of my esps at some point. I am familiar with merge plugins above, but not so much will older utilities (the cs, enhanced editor, etc.).

I've been looking everywhere this pas couple of days, but I've yet to find anything regarding all this. Any advice is much appreciated.

    Thank you for your time!

I can't tell what's a button and what is not, and can't fix my eyes on anything, making using the site really difficult for me. It basically looks like one monolithic mess.
I don't understand why you had to make the redesign this way.

This is the problem of all smartphone app layouts and should not be used on desktops.

I'm also not a very big fan of the new design. OP said it all, but I'm sure things will get better in the future, you guys always have a way of doing things that in the end, turn out to be great. Keep up the good work!
  5. Hello community!

I'm looking for a mod/utility that would allow me to see in game from what mod is a certain object/NPC etc when I point/click on them in a certain way. I had one installed for Oblivion and I remember finding something like this for Skyrim years ago, but my memory is foggy at best and can't remember for sure.

    Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: Thanks, found it! ;)

On the other hand, you lot don't seem to be people who change stuff just to be hip or to go with the latest trends, so, I trust you and although not looking forward to it, I will embrace the new surroundings with open arms. First might have to move some clutter from the desks to my left and right, mind...

My only hope is that there will still be "new today" pages for the latest added mods, as those are the links I keep in my bookmarks for the games I've played/am playing.

Thanks for keeping us informed ;)

I quite like the look of the new design though.

I'm with the OP on this one. I guess time will tell. Keep up the good work guys!
  7. Hey guys

Knowing that Fallout 4 is just around the corner I would like to get in touch with the Fallout world once more to refresh my memory. I'm looking for a couple mods to spice things up a little bit. I want a challenge. My experience with mods is mostly related to the Elder Scrolls, so I'll name a couple mods that I used for Skyrim as a reference.

For player homes I'm thinking of a house that mod that I can build from scratch( like with the Hearthfires DLC). For surviving, I'm looking for mods like Frostfall( suited for Fallout of course) and eat, sleep, drink mods if there are any. As for game play, anything that would make surviving a daily struggle. First mod that comes to mind is Requiem, since I was quite fond of it in Skyrim. Anything else, that you guys think it's a must have, is welcomed. I haven't got a clue where to start so I'm hoping to get a little bit of help from more experienced Fallout players.

PS: I have Game of the year edition, so keep this in mind when you mention any mods.

  8. Helly everyone. I am looking for someone that is good with photoshop or any other kind of program that can edit pictures. I would like to request a banner for a list of mine. Size should be like the one I have for an older list. (http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/25101/?) I would like the background to be dwemer themed and the writing on it ( Push list of Dwemer mods) to be dwemerish. If you throw a pipe or two in there, even better. :P

    Thanks in advance!

PS: Pick what ever image and colors you see fit!

  9. I'm glad to see things are going well for you. Everything worked great in the past couple of months, at least for me. Download speeds are great and mods are getting better than I could imagine back when I first started playing these games. So... many thanks for everything and happy new year!
