" I love dancing in Skyrim but the dances are way too fast for the music I like to replace. (e.g. Chinese flute music or Skyrim Guitar music). I've searched all kinds of alternatives, that basically all say that to change the speed of the animations you have to edit the .hxk files. (not an option for a dummy like me) The forum for Shake It SSE Mod, have many complaints as well and the issue to change or create the plugin is just dropped. Thanks, I'll do that next time :smile: I'm using Skyrim Special Edition. I believe I might have deleted a mesh lightspellactorfx.nif that was in Data/Meshes/magic/ folder. So I extracted the original mesh file from Data/Skyrim - Meshes1.bsa and replaced it. It still didn't work. Weird that every other light spell works, like Magelight. :turned:

I don't know what I did, but I lost my candlelight. The action works but no light emits. Weird thing is that Staff of Mage light and Scroll of Candlelight work fine, so I'm guessing the meshes and textures are O.K., I use Diethardt's Rune texture, just can't figure out how to pin point the problem. It happened when I installed Candlelight Overhaul mod, but the author is not responding. Does anyone know what exactly makes the light emit from the candlelight spell?

Thanks so much. That is a great animation, but there's no sound. I did find a mod (shout) that I tweaked in CK that works. No animation, but at least I can laugh out loud! :laugh:

Can someone make an animation so the player can laugh? I can't find one. There's a good emote animation that I think is already in the game, but there's no sound. NPC's can laugh, why can't I ??? There seems to be every animation under the sun except for a good belly laugh. I have Inigo as a follower and he is hilarious. I want to laugh at his jokes. The best I can do is give him a good hug or pet him!! :laugh: but I just want to laugh damn it ! :geek:

How do you add a sound (.wav) to a lesser power animation in CK? I saw how you can do it with Magic effects, but it doesn't work for a Magic effect that is a lesser power. Specifically, I'm trying to add a sound to the Laugh emote in "Emotes" mod (I contacted the author, but have got no response). I believe the animation is not specifically custom and that it comes from within the game itself. Does it have to do with a script? Cause I do have a lesser power "whistle for horse" that has a sound, so I know it is possible, right? Help!

I'm still wondering about this... I would love to be able to give Meeko a hug. I know this can be possible, I just don't know how to do it. I have a mod called "HugMe.esp" https://www.loverslab.com/topic/69725-hug-me-english-translation-with-voice/?tab=comments#comment-1741789) where everyone can be offered a hug, even kids, and Meeko too except there is no animation with Meeko. There must be an animation where Meeko jumps up that is part of this attack movemements that can be triggered to go with this. I wonder if someone can figure it out! Yeah I did that. I also downloaded and installed mod that keeps Steam from auto-downloading. I think I finally fixed it! It was a problem with SKSE and not Steam. I can play the game if I click on the skse loader using Admin priv. Odd that that worked since my game is not located in the Programs file, but oh well ! It works. :laugh:

Hello, once copied the downgrade, have you deactivated STEAM ? Otherwise, Steam will reinstall the upgrade again. Try with steam offline. Yes, I did that. When I start the game thru SKSE loader, the message that it's the wrong version doesn't appear anymore, but the game is loading without skse . I get message in game that skse is not loaded. This is what is happening. Yesterday, before I realized that Steam updated SSE, I did a clean reinstall because my save games had become corrupt. When I launched the game, I got the skse message about the version of SSE. I downloaded the 1.5.39 version per the instructions, make the exe read only, turned off Steam, went offline, started the game thru skse loader, and the error message went away, but it's loading the menu that you get when you are loading thru steam and not Skse. When I click play, the game loads up and I start a new game and it displays that skse is not loaded, blah,blah,blah and a bunch of error messages about the mods that won't work. Thank you btw. I really appreciate any help I can get. :smile:

Didn't work for me no matter what I did. I followed every instruction to the tee and every time I got the SKSE error message :devil: I had to reinstall my game and all my mods today of all days (had to start new game cause my saves were corrupted) and after spending all day doing that, I can't play the game. :sad:

Is there a way, tweaking a file etc, to get my horse to move with my mouse controls? I have the game set up so that I can move, run with my mouse instead of the keyboard controls, but my horse is impossible to ride because he (or she?LOL) uses keyboard controls. I can use the mouse to go forward with him but not side to side. I found a very useful mod that controls the horse turn speed and that helps but I really want better control with the mouse. Help!

Thanks! I tried complete gardening and it didn't work. But I did find one called Grow Plants that worked great! now I have big plants in my house in pretty basket containers! I'm Happy for now. Thanks. All I need now is a large ( huge) container to plant an indoor garden in. I can't find a flower box anywhere! I used baskets and even a bench on it's side LOL but there were collision issues.

How do items become buyable? Can items (like furniture & clutter) found in mods, be used in world without CS? In other words, can I find the item id and use it to get an item in my inventory without using CS? I'm decorating a house for myself and I'd like to add some objects from the awesome Millstone Farm mod. I'm too lazy to learn how to use CS (and a bit scared). I've done a search of more buyable objects, Imperial furniture, etc., but what I'd really like is better & bigger plants and a container big enough to plant an indoor garden.
