  1. not sure how to describe this, so I made 2 gifs. http://gickr.com/results3/anim_df432077-e92c-8134-1db6-f91ed099a453.gif http://gickr.com/results3/anim_df432077-e92c-8134-1db6-f91ed099a453.gif there's a sort of shadow layer on the wall that peels away as I walk towards it. It's unbelievably annoying ingame obviously at first I thought it was some parallax problem, but I went all the way to vanilla skyrim, so it's obviously not a mod conflict. this seems to be in the vanilla game? I don't remember having to deal with this....surely it's an INI edit I'm missing
  2. I can not understand why ANY ENB, even the default, drops my ~50fps to 15-18fps. I have a fresh install. I have the fresh install zip'd so I delete the skyrim folder and re-extract the zip to revert back changes. I install the basic ENB, before loading any presets found on the nexus. Before ENB install, I run a very smooth 50fps in Whiterun, sometimes down to 40, but very smooth regardless I instantly drop to 15fps, sometimes 18 if I look at the ground. I revert back to my clean Skyrim install, it's back to the original ~50fps Loading any presets from the Nexus, even Stakado's Cinemascope (with very little claimed performance loss), and I get the same result I have tried EVERY ENB version, from a 100% clean install every time. I am out of ideas, other than this being a relatively new M14x r2 - the new Kepler architecture 650M. When I was laptop shopping, this was a big selling point for me, as reviews and benchmarks showed great performance of the new architecture vs the old. These reviews/benchmarks are also somewhat recent! Could this be my problem? Are my drivers/GPU a bit too new for ENB to adapt yet? I am seriously out of ideas and this is my last guess - which obviously doesn't come with a solution other than wait... Specs are a relatively optioned M14x (as stated above, vanilla with hires pack runs 50fps) Core i7-3610M [email protected] 8GB RAM 2GB nVidia (Kepler) 650M Really, I don't know how else to troubleshoot from 100% clean install + nothing but ENB edit: tried the 2 latest nvidia drivers as well, same results
