  1. I've noticed all interiors have this blue haze, or blue black point if you will. I guess it's the global fog which starts crazy close to the camera. I haven't been bothered that much as most of the time you are out in the wilderness but now that I am in Novigrad, I just can't stop thinking about it and how ugly it looks. Just visited Triss home, and it was just.. blue. A blue self glowing haze. And also outside, in all the shadows, it is a lot more noticable with the city houses compared to the wilderness. As I know nothing of modding, does someone know of a .ini value or something that I can change to make the distance fog start a lot further away? Or if there is some mod that I've missed, the few I've found were mostly reshades or bigger ones, just want to change this one value. Thanks.
  2. Haha I'm so stupid, thanks a lot. I just assumed the if there was an option for NPC subs it would be bundled with the other sub options, never occured to me that it is also technically a HUD item :) Thanks again!
  3. Hello, I'm not a native english speaker so I need subtitles sometimes. However, the "chat-bubbles" over NPCs heads are sooo immersion breaking, I can't stand it. So basically, a mod that let's you disable those while keeping subs in cutscenes would be fantastic. I've googled my ass off but found nothing, not even people complaing about it which is surprising to me. So here's hoping anyone with proper skills can see if it's doable. Thanks.
  4. Started a replay on very hard with melee/quickhack dude and game basically pose no challenge at all. First thing i´d remove is the free stealth kill. No matter what level, what skills, you can always sneak around and just kill everybody, no cost. I don´t understand why this is not something that is based on the skills you choose. With hacking, it becomes even more easy. Just ping, take camera control, sneak, assassinate. And if you get caught, slash slash slash, they´re dead. "Very hard"? Woot?
  5. I hate how my head bumps around whenever breaking/accelerating (which I do a lot) in the car, makes it hard to see the city outside and the road. Would be nice if this was fixable. I guess the dream scenario would be the eyes/camera to be fixed on the end of the road, like a constraint to that point, and then mouse movement added on top of that.
  6. Yeah, had it happen twice non scripted under my 50h playthrough. If I wasn´t such a coward I´d probably poke around in the ini files myself :)
  7. Yeah, I don´t care too much for real world realism in my games, so for me I´d just want a lot longer nights, as that´s when I think night city really shines.
  8. As it´s an iteration of the same engine that witcher 3 used, maybe you can have a look at what files a witcher 3 weather mod use? Like this one https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3950
  9. Basically, standing and walking slowly (using a mod to walk) should give same result as crouching. I like walking slowly along corridors with my trench coat and silenced revolver but this doesn´t count as sneaking, so I always have crouch whenever I see an enemy. Think this is possible?
  10. To me one of the most immersion breaking things in this game is that when driving at night in the desert I see a ton of cars in the distance, but when closing in on them, they disappear, and what´s close to me is like one or two cars. A mod that either removed almost all of the distant cars or increase the number of cars close to you would be a awesome. Thanks.
  11. The font in the inventory and messages is HUGE. Sitting in front of a pc monitor, this makes skip most journal messages, as it´s too annoying to read. Anyone figured out a way to change this?
  12. It seems to get bright so early in the morning, any way to change this, like with ini editing?
  13. Yes! Was about to make a topic, very annoying in all games that does this.
  14. Hello, I would have thought this to be one of the first mods for wticher but I haven ´t found one, and barely any discussions about it. Basically, I can´t stand that trees/grass are always blowing like hell. I mean, I haven´t seen one day in witcher where they are almost completly still. I knew that it would bother me from watching gameplay videos, but I didn´t think it would bother me as much as it does now that I´m playing the game . My request is: On sunny days, the trees/grass should most of the time barely move in the wind. The storms and such are fine. Anyone willing to help? Or if it only some variables in a script, maybe anyone can point me to that script? Thanks
  15. It looks fantastic, but looking at that last screenshot, there seems to be a general lack of shadows, aspecially on the grass in the right part of the picture. Or maybe I´ve just forgotten how skyrim looks, it´s been a while since I played it. Will probably reinstall just for this mod anyhow  also, more teaser pics plz!!! :)
