  1. Damn, looks great! keep up the good work.
  2. Hey folks, has anyone looked at the armors of the new Total war yet? They are pretty great and some would look nice and immersive in skyrim. Attached is a screen pic of a witch hunter. But the graveguard, Balthasar gelt etc all have great armors.
  3. I'm having a bit of a problem picking Fallout up again. Why? Because I'm always the same guy/girl in it. Even though you can pick a different ending, the overall story and character development is still the same. A big part of the problem (SPOILER) is that you are always the dad/mother of the villian. This destroys any hope of a sensible alternate start mod. However, if we change the narrative a bit...... Instead of being the real father/mother, you are whoever you want to be and the questline starts when you find a boy (Shaun) who is searching for his parents when you enter the commonwealth as a scavenger, mercenary, or whatever. You travel to the Vault he tells you about, talk a bit to shaun how he got out, find out the Institute is there. Shaun gets taken, pleads for your life, you get locked up in a cryo chamber by Kellog and wake up 70 years later. Instead of Shaun it could also be the mother/father (depending on which sex you are). Who couldn't get her husband/wife out. You travel to the vault, both father and mother get killed, you promise to the dying mother/father that you will safe her/his baby and get locked in a Vault. A bit weird, but not weird enough to break immersion/narrative.
  4. The "dragon" is actually a form/name of Satan in the bible. Anyway, it's a made up world which isnt telling you how to live in the real world. If you take offense because of that, don't play the game.
  5. I saw you were planning to make further updates on new outfits, will that include guard armour? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50730/? is a good one, though some armors look a bit weird on female guards.
  6. One thing I always find idiotic: The perk system for some skills. I mean, if I have only made steel weapons and gold rings, how the hell do I magically know how to make an ebony sword? Instead of using perk points, learn the smithing techniques from blacksmiths and only let the perk tree give a bonus in tempering armor and weapons. As you skill level increases you become better in making weapons and armor that you already know how to make. Techniques should be learned from people who already know how to do it. I would only limit your overhaul to the perk trees, combat and "learning" skills as described above. Else it will take ages to complete. About combat, I would let light armor give the player a light movement speed bonus, so they can dodge power attacks without a FNIS animation like in TK dodge, but still give them a slight edge in combat and dealing with archers/mages compared to heavy armor wielders.
  7. After I played through most of the commonwealth (Main story, quests, settlements) I felt a bit... empty. Probably most of you have the same problem, which is that the replayability is very small. There is almost no way to roleplay with the pc anymore. Every big faction is tied with the main story. In which you have to be "Vault-dwelling veteran/lawyer dad/mom of lost baby". Which is a shame, I miss the skyrim days of being able to someone else then the dragonborn. Or be both the dragonborn and the listener for example. Anyhow, What I need to be in Fallout 4 is an expansive mod which adds new quests and factions to fill this huge void. First of all, the raiders need to be split up into different factions that the pc can join, like a death cult which specialises in stealth kills or an irish mobster gang that rather blackmails then destroy nearby settlements. Gangs like the Forged and the triggerman could be expanded upon aswell. Second of all there should be more "good" factions and the existing ones should be expanded. The atom cats could be kicking gunner ass and spreading "the cool" by opening bars and such. (And maybe open up Quincy as a settlement again in the end?) A hunters "guild" would be great as well, which would give great rewards for killing very strong creatures. (And being able to be a stealthy good guy) Next to these main questlines for each faction there should be more small quests. Which shouldn't be hard as many areas in fallout 4 have a story but not a quest. Wouldn't it be funny to help a pink ghoul become a normal ghoul because he is the laughingstock of the triggermen? (By visiting that school and finding a solution) Since this is not possible before the G.E.C.K comes out, feel free to post your own ideas of creating and/or expanding factions below. If you want to adopt these ideas, feel free to do so, but PM me. I might have more ideas by then.
  8. I would imagine the Institute power armor would be sleeker and more powerful, since they are even more technologically advanced then the Enclave.
  9. The first thing that bothered me about the factions is that they don't have much of a story to tell without the main quest line. This makes each gameplay unique because you can't play all the paths to victory in one playthrough but makes the factions a bit dull, other factions don't get any part to play at all. (Atom cats) Therefore my request is that there should an extended questline for most factions outside of the main questline and a new questline for the atom cats. My idea to extend the brotherhood storyline: We know that the brotherhood has changed since the passing of the last Elder Lyons, back to its technology hoarding and backwards ways. What if some of the brotherhoods members don't agree with these policies of Maxson and want to revert back to the ways of Lyons. You could pick a side as member of the brotherhood and destroy or organize a revolution. My idea to extend the minutemen storyline: When the PC finds the minutemen they come across as the ultimate good guys, later you learn that they weren't all that good and brave in the past. In this questline you would huntdown former minutemen that went to the raider side. In the end you would set up a settler government with representatives from all across the settlements you have build. (Would require a certain amount of well developed settlements) With the PC ofcourse as head of state. My idea to extend the Atom Cats storyline: Right now you only have one quest for the Atom Cats, which would let you join them. But wouldn't it be cool if there was a whole rite of passage for them? Like finding an exclusive Elvis tape and broadcasting it across the commonwealth. Maybe even taking out the Gunners hideout in Quincy like they say sometimes as end quest. Another idea I have is to create more unique raider factions with a unique storyline for each one of them, but I havent thought that out yet.
  10. Skyrim had that nice bandit mod that divided them into different groups. OBIS. It would be cool if a modder would think of more raider groups then just the Gunners and the normal raiders. Each with their own territory and unique armor. (Only the gunners have this now) A questline for each of these groups would be nice as well and give more room for evil characters we might want to roleplay as.
  11. First of all, mannequins to showcase clothing & normal armor. To top that off, a way to change the uniform of the minuteman into another outfit. (By using a specific mannequin for example) Settlements would need sanitation. (Showers that work with a pump mechanism & makeshift toilets) A small nuclear plant object for settlements that would be able to charge fusion cores. (Will cost a huge amount of nuclear material) ( Only available after stealing the plans from the Institute) Specific gathering stations. A station that would smelt bullet shells for lead for example. Or a computer disassembler to gather circuits. A specific "Bar" sign object to determine where the settlers would go to between 8 pm and 1 am.
