  1. I have never had this problem until recently. I've ran BOSS, TES5 Edit picked up no loader errors, and I've cleaned everything that needed cleaning, but now, if I'm in Whiterun, or any of the general area around Whiterun, the game inevitably crashes. It's not a CTD, however, but a 'Skyrim has stopped working' crash. I know that the problem has to do with Whiterun, as this hasn't been happening anywhere else in the game. At first, I thought that the save for this specific character, who happened to be in Whiterun at the time of the save, was currupted. I kept this save, but made a new profile with this character, choosing to start in Breezehome with the Live Another Life mod. Shortly after leaving Breezehome, the game crashed. This confirmed that it isn't a currupted save, but a problem with Whiterun. Can someone help me out?
  2. Hmm, perhaps some kind of new dialogue option with guards upon yielding? Something to the effect of "it was an accident!" Although, maybe it should be a persuasion option, and will only work if you have a high enough Speech skill, because if not, you could possibly get away with hitting someone when it wasn't an accident.
  3. This is something I've always wanted to be able to do: Select your character's voice type in the creation screen. For example, as listed in the Creation Kit, MaleDrunk, FemaleSultry, MaleBrute, MaleElfHaughty, etc.
  4. I don't know about you, but I want to be able to properly see amulets when I equip them, but with robes especially, there is some really bad clipping. An example (my screenshot) : http://imageshack.us/a/img18/8350/clipping.jpg I was hoping that someone might be able to fix this.
  5. I saw a mod a while back that allowed you to "fire" Lydia, and from then on out she would stay in Dragonsreach rather than Breezehome. You could also rehire her if you wanted to. For some reason, I absolutely cannot find this mod again. A little help, please?
  6. Before I begin, no, I am not suggesting importation. What I am suggesting is for someone to model a version of the Argonian and Khajiit hair from Morrowind and Oblivion for use in Skyrim.
  7. I've had a few ideas, but have so far been unlucky in terms of others replying to the threads. So far, I have: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/958401-more-food-please/ (more food options, including the ability to make oven-exclusive recipes from a cooking pot) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/953180-loading-screen-npcs-added-to-game/ (adding NPCs seen in the loading screens as actual NPCs in the game, possibly even as followers or potential spouses) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/932747-birthsignstanding-stone-amulets/ (a set of amulets based on the designs of the standing stones)
  8. Find it funny that you can loot boar meat, but cannot actually make cooked boar meat from it, and the only cooked boar meat in the game counts as stolen if you take it? Find it odd that you can take a roasted ox head and leg from Sovngarde, but cannot actually eat it or make it? Isn't it a bit silly that there is so little honey in the game, no-one sells it, and it can't even be looted from beehives? Want some of the sweet new Hearthfire food but cannot make it because you are Breezehome/Honeyside/whatever people, and only have a cooking pot? Did you answer yes to any of these questions? Good. This mod would be for you! Yes, this seems mundane, but I love little details like this, even things as little as new recipes. What I'm Looking For: - The ability to make cooked boar meat - The ability to make and eat roasted ox heads and legs (made from raw beef, maybe?) - Some merchants to sell honey, honey be lootable from beehives, and the ability to make it (made from honeycombs, maybe?) - The ability to make the Hearthfire recipes that are exclusive to the oven from a cooking pot
  9. Quite possibly a silly request, but here goes. There are some loading screens which contain NPCs that are not seen in-game. All of these can be seen in this list on UESP that contains all of the loading screens: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Loading_Screens What I'd like to see is a mod that recreates these characters, and adds them to the game as NPCs, maybe even as potential followers or spouses.
  10. This is driving me nuts. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong. I can't spawn, add, or equip any items that came with a DLC through console commands. (any items with an ID starting with xx or XX) I keep getting an invalid object parameter error. Yes, I do have every DLC installed. My latest attempt was to add a Dunmer outfit and shoes (Dragonborn DLC) to one of my characters' inventories. This is how I typed it: player.additem XX03706B 1 player.additem XX03705A 1 I've checked over and over, and I know that these IDs are correct, but I still got the invalid object parameter error. Can anyone help me?
  11. I know this might sound like a silly request, but here goes. I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to make a set of amulets made to display a character's birthsign. Some of my characters seem the type that would be proud of their birthsign, and would like to display it. I would assume the relative equivalent to the birthsigns in Skyrim would be the player's selected standing stone, so maybe the design of the amulets could be based on the design of the stones?
  12. I've noticed that a few Dunmer NPCs in the game have skintones that are not present in the creation screen. Those I have seen are that of Romlyn Dreth, who appears to have a greenish skintone. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120914001720/elderscrolls/images/6/6e/RomlynDreth.png Then there are the Sarethi sisters, with skin borderline black. http://images.uesp.net/thumb/9/9b/SR-npc-Avrusa_Sarethi.jpg/600px-SR-npc-Avrusa_Sarethi.jpg Female Dunmer bandits appear to have the same skintone, or at least something similar. http://images.uesp.net/thumb/b/ba/SR-npc-Bandit_%28NPC%29_03.jpg/600px-SR-npc-Bandit_%28NPC%29_03.jpg If I'm missing any more Dunmer with unique skintones, let me know. What I'm asking is if it would be possible to make these NPC Dunmer skintones applicable in the creation screen, as they do not appear in it.
  13. Am I the only one who finds it a bit strange that certain racial dialogue from guards or NPCs just stop upon becoming a vampire? Sure, there are new references to your character's appearance, but I'm talking about lines such as, "stay out of trouble, Elf," or, "What is it, Elf?" For some reason, lines like that seem to just disappear post-vampirism. Would a fix for that be possible?
